The staff, like the... site, are rustic but always friendly and helpful.
The pitches are large and all have electricity and water connections.

The place is run-down and the sanitary facilities are definitely from the last century (70s but without charm). Allegedly renovated, but this is limited to some new shower fittings and a few new doors to the shower and toilet rooms.... There are no paper roll holders in the narrow cubicles in the gloomy WC, the paper is sometimes on the floor! It smells in the registration area and the 'store' doesn't look inviting either. Pitch unkempt, damp. Pitch lighting very inadequate. 'Indoor pool' not in operation despite summer temperatures at the beginning of September. WLAN is advertised but does not work. On request, this is confirmed by the owner on the one hand, but denied by the lady at reception on the other. Warm beer is tapped in the pub, allegedly the cooling is not always switched on to save electricity. Food ok. The lady at reception only wants to hear positive things. She doesn't like criticism at all and becomes even more unfriendly. Last but not least, the extremely unkempt owner, who keeps popping up in his greasy, stained clothes and completes the overall picture. NEVER AGAIN!Automaticky přeloženo.

Unfriendly owner.Neglected space with potentialWe stayed at the campsite for 4 nights at the end of August. The caravan stayed there for a week as we had booked a Danube cruise. The proximity to Passau and the Danube cycle path is a huge plus. When we checked in, an extremely grumpy, unkempt old man was waiting for us. The pricing was opaque and... incomprehensible. The bill was exorbitant. The choice of pitch was easy and we were also able to change pitches easily. The pitches are not parceled out, but the electricity and water connections are always close by. The pitches are clean but unkempt. The connections are overgrown and therefore difficult to reach. It had probably not been mowed for weeks - the grass was very high. The sanitary facilities are probably a bit outdated, but always clean and easy to use without shower tokens or cards. The bread roll service was good - no need to order in advance - but of course, like everything here, very expensive. We didn't make use of the restaurant, but it made a good impression and was well utilized. The WiFi was only available at the front desk, but was simply turned off by the operator at 9.30pm when he left the site. The garbage corner was just disgusting. The residual waste was in an open container and it stank terribly. Every evening, the operator drove his large SUV across the not-so-large pitch - and he also carried out checks in between. The positive thing was the location close to the Danube cycle path (800m). This made it very easy to reach Passau city center and also our jetty by bike, recommended as a place to stay overnight. .Automaticky přeloženo.- Klaus H.August 2018PozitivaGood location for the stopover D-A borderNegativaDisproportionately expensiveA beautiful place, actually......but the clock stopped here a few years ago. Not a word too much during the preliminary telephone inquiry! Likewise not at check-in; no friendliness or cordiality at all, but a hefty "bill", or rather a receipt, which is not really comprehensible. 45 for a camper van, 3 adults, 1 child, no electricity... for one night; showers included. We had a free choice of pitches, from relatively flat pitches without parcelling. Due to the low occupancy rate, we had plenty of space. The sanitary facilities were clean, partly renovated, partly 70s. The owner apparently loves signs; there are self-written signs for and against everything everywhere, although some of them have obviously lost their meaning some time ago as they are completely faded. The owner apparently runs the site all by himself; registration, selling bread rolls and mowing the lawn, he was everywhere. Bread rolls are available in a small kiosk on site, but the prices are high here too. 6 rolls 4,-€!!!Automaticky přeloženo.

The best thing about the site is the proximity to the A3 freeway and the cozy restaurant with good prices and hearty Bavarian food. The pitches are okay, but not particularly attractive for our taste, we couldn't imagine a vacation here. The price of 21 euros given at Campinginfo... was, I think, still valid 2 years ago, we paid 29 euros for two, showers are included. Internet is not available at the pitch, but it is next to the reception. The sanitary facilities make you feel like you've been transported back a few decades, but the shower fittings seemed to be brand new. The shower cubicles are immaculate, with hooks and shelves, the washroom was clean, the toilets not so much. Unfortunately there is a night's rest until 7.30 a.m., so you can only continue your journey then, and there are only bread rolls at 7.30 a.m.. You could hear the highway a little at night, but not disturbingly, but the train was a little clearer. But it was quiet enough for us even without earplugs.Automaticky přeloženo.

Electricity... and water connections available, but outdated. Poorly lit. Sanitary is quite clean, but has the charm of the 50s. The price-performance ratio is absolutely not right here. The site owner is a bit grumpy, but always decent and funny (OK, as Swiss we had it a bit easier, he's a Switzerland fan). Large pitches, partly shady. Regarding the much-lamented sanitary facilities: Sure, they are getting on in years.... But they were always clean during our stay! They were also cleaned regularly. THE WHOLE SANITARY AREA WILL BE RENOVATED AT THE END OF THE YEAR! The restaurant was great. Good food at reasonable prices. Very friendly staff. We also found what we needed in the small store.
