- Frank M.březen 2025Top place in HHWe escaped the carnival and were over the WE 28.02. - 03.03. HH, felt we were with 10 more vehicles on the site, which meant that only a community cafeteria was open. This did not bother us at all. The sanitary facilities that were open were very clean and well maintained. The lady at reception was... great when it came to information and tips.
Because the campsite was empty, it was super quiet and peaceful at night. At the information desk you could buy the day tickets for the public transportation with which you can move very well in HH. The stop in the evening after 20:00 and on Sunday is for people who are not so good on foot, with about 700 meters, possibly too far away. The normal bus stop is about 300 meters away. On the day of arrival we were already on site at 11:00 a.m., which was no problem at all, we were given a pitch card and were allowed to choose the pitch that suited us on foot. This was our third time on a Knaus pitch and we were not disappointed this time either. Despite being close to the road, the site is beautifully laid out. The sanitary facilities are spacious and very clean. We would come here again. The only drawback was all the roadworks and detour in Hamburg itself, which were terrible.
