Completely full, ended up parking in an intersection at the campsite. Difficult to communicate with staff in anything other than German. Far from grocery stores. The closest is in Günzburg but open until 8 pm while Legoland closes at 6 pm.The perfect place to visit LegolandCottages in the area are a mistake. The only right choice is camping. Large nicely separated plots of land. Close, lighted power connection points. Plenty of, easily accessible sanitary facilities. You can set up on the sidelines, you can by the main stores and attractions. Wherever you go within a few plots you can find a playground. The bakery is open from 7 am, it even serves cold milk. We paid LESS in total for 2 nights and the two-day tickets than if we had bought normal 1-day tickets without staying overnight.
Nevertheless, the campsite makes a solid impression. There are several sanitary... buildings, so you never have to go far. We never had to wait during our stay and it was always clean.
The pitches are only suitable for tents to a limited extent. The pitches in the front area are very heavily gravelled. The pitches at the back near the camping barrels are less graveled, so we found them better for camping.
You choose the pitches yourself: first come, first serve.
The campsite is great for children. There are more playgrounds than you can play on during your short stay. The path to Legoland is easy to find and is very easy to walk to.

For 1 night and 2x day entry really cheap. The sanitary facilities are cleaned several times a day. In the morning you get bread rolls, in the evening we ate in the Ritterrestaurant and found it not overpriced for the good quality.... Arrival uncomplicated if you apply for the arrival forms online. Sandra R.August 2019Pozitiva- Good location for a visit to LEGOLANDNegativa- Expensive gastronomy - Rather unfavorable parking spacesGood for a visit to LEGO Land, otherwise better notFirst things first: the campsite is well located for visiting LEGO Land, as it is within walking distance. It is therefore a typical transit site where you spend 1-2 nights and then move on. The pitches are rather narrow, so we didn't even extend the awning of our caravan. There would have been no room... for an awning. But you can drive in on one side of the pitch and drive out on the other. There is free choice of pitch. Despite the high season, we had plenty of choice. The sanitary facilities are ok, but there are not enough of them. In particular, there are not enough flushing facilities. However, the cleaning staff do a great job and go to great lengths to ensure that everything is clean despite the large crowds. Make sure you bring enough to eat, the prices for food are astronomical. You should bear in mind that the ground is very stony even on the pitches, especially with a tent you should think of appropriate pegs and an extra tarpaulin for under the tent floor. Not voluntarilyWe booked the pitch in conjunction with entry to the theme park. Sloping, roughly gravelled and very narrow pitches (the only advantage was that we could simply stay attached) and, as many of the other commentators have already written, far too few showers and washing-up areas. Water far away, make sure... you have a long power cable and pack enough food - the prices in the restaurant are high. The showers themselves were small, wet everywhere and the water only came in drips. The anonymous atmosphere on the pitch was also unpleasant. In any case, praise to the staff, we had friendly contacts and in the sanitary area they made a lot of effort to keep everything clean despite the hustle and bustle. Conclusion: You have to pay a lot here, which is actually a cheek. This price-performance ratio would break the back of any other campsite.Automaticky přeloženo.

Pitches sloping and uneven, and too compacted.Great for visiting Legoland, but nothing more!We stayed at the CP for three nights to visit Legoland. In conjunction with the CP, you get a very reasonable price when visiting LL. The pitches are narrow and sloping. Partly compacted with gravel and partly totally muddy, clay soil! Our 2.3m caravan with awning just fitted in. We could hardly get... to our storage hatch. But well, you only want to sleep there ;-) The sanitary facilities - yes, one of the buildings was probably broken on the first day, so the other one was completely overcrowded. But one day later there were also meter long queues for washing up! 4 sinks in the upper building are simply not enough! The staff was very concerned about cleanliness! The advantage is that you can disinfect your own toilet! Nevertheless, some of the pipes smelled of manure. The showers are the highlight of all, you have to press the button every 6 seconds, the water doesn't run any longer!!!! TERRIBLE!!! My husband told me that the men's panels were already coming down from the ceiling! That's definitely better! Apart from the sanitary facilities and the condition of the pitches, the site is very nice! It also offers a lot for children outside Legoland's opening hours! Various playgrounds and leisure facilities are available, but some are subject to a charge! Checking in is very easy using the barcode on the reservation, then you can choose your pitch. The pitches are very large and parking is also very easy for caravans. The sanitary facilities were very clean and the staff very friendly. There are... several Lego restaurants nearby, but they are all very expensive. A big disadvantage was that there was no shade on the pitch. Equally disadvantageous was the constant background noise from the highway. All pitches are on a slight slope, not very practical with a tent and camper van. The sanitary facilities were always very clean, but when the site is full, the capacity is too low. Another disadvantage was that meals could only be taken in the existing (very expensive) restaurants. There is no mini-market or similar. The entire vacation village was very well maintained and there are plenty of playgrounds. A child hardly has a chance to discover everything on the two evenings :-) . Unfortunately, everything that has to be paid for additionally (restaurant or sandwiches) is very expensive. A great addition to a stay at Legoland. The staff are friendly and the sanitary facilities are clean and have hot water. There are around a dozen playgrounds on the site so that the little ones can let off steam. Unfortunately, the ground is very hard and stony!... It's almost impossible to get your tent pegs in and if you only have the cheap ones you'll end up with crooked ones.
