I was very happy my wife convinced me to only stay 2 nights instead of the planned 3, we had to pay before entering and I doubt they would have refunded had we chosen to leave before time. Prices are relatively high for Slovakia an the camp site is not very organized, there are... no parcels for campers just a few large pastures where you put your tent or caravan wherever you like. Sanitary facilities were very basic, one block of toilets were even closed although the campsite was full. The toilets and showers that were open were in containers, toilets often lacked cleaning and/or paper. You pay quite a premium for electricity, but nobody is checking if you paid and the electricity is not locked away (it's out in the open), so you could probably get away with not paying. Depending on where you find a free spot, electricity might be far away (+30m). The 23:00 silence wasn't really respected and often the noise continued until at least midnight even though the guard did do a round to check. I wouldn't recommend the site for light sleepers. I think my wife didn't feel safe at night, at least she never wanted to go to the toilets alone, this hasn't been an issue in other camp sites so far! Pretty much the only thing this camping has to offer is the location close to the Liptov lake, I hope they develop this region more touristically because it has a lot of potential and there are not really many alternatives to Mara Camping unless you want to stay far away from the lake.Automaticky přeloženo.

The campground in July was full. We managed to find a vast grassy tent site with no one in it. After a few days, other amateur campers began to join us. Toilets in the center, reasonably clean, but the equipment's glory days are behind them. No locks... on the toilets. Available kitchen with working contacts. Pokud se Vám podaří dostat se od vody bez pásku (zůstal v karavanu), tak se budete muset pohádat s obsluhou na vrátnici. V polovině sezóny jsou některé stánky a atrakce uzavřené. Funguje pouze hlavní shromaždiště... s přemrštěnými cenami. Záchody vybudovány ze stavebních buněk obsahují minimum záchodů. Samozřejmě bez toaletního papíru, který ale jindy zase přetéká z plného WC. Kemp pravdu velké zklamání, jedině krásné okolí vhodné i na cyklo s dětmi.- Pavel D.July 2016PozitivaMusíte nosit na ruce zelené pásky.NegativaNejste v přírodě, málo teplé vody, málo toaletního papíru, bez krámu, bez propagace okolí, v polovině kempu nešla elektrika. Velké zklamáníZklamáníPokud preferujete pobyt v přírodě, tento kemp vám to nenabídne. Je obestaven chatkami, penziony a hotely. Vezměte si s sebou toaletní papír. Na teplou vodu musíte mít štěstí. Sanita pamatuje ještě poslední pětiletku a Husáka. V kempu není krámek, bistra jsou předražená a neumí udělat ani langoše. Čeho... je v kempu dost jsou motorkáři. Někdy hluk dělali, jindy méně. Chudáky kteří kemp navštívili poznáte podle pásky na ruce, kterou musíte pod trestem smrti nosit asi až do konce života. Pokud už se ubytujete, zeptejte se kde nejde elektřina. Sami vám to neřeknou. Že nesvítily některé lampy nám nevadilo.

First of all, they are really too few for a campsite of this size, in the morning you had to stand in a long queue, when you got to the end of the... queue you had to wash under cold water, and what was even more annoying was that there was nowhere to put things and rubles, there wasn't even the smallest hook for hanging them up, you had to put them just on the floor, which wasn't particularly heavy. The only plus point is the beautiful location and the lake. I also noticed that the toilet is equipped with a potty and a special toilet cover for small children, which is a plus for those travelling with small children (although we take these things for our child when we travel)Automaticky přeloženo.

Rozdělení campu na rodínný a mladistvéPředstavoval jsem si víc od campu rokuAni ochotný personál to nezachránil. Camp máme většinou jen na přespání. Jinak cestujeme po okolí a vracíme se navečer. Večer tekla už jen vlažná voda. Wifi chytáte pouze do 10m od záchodů. U záchodů poulamovaná prkýnka tak to jsme u nás zažily tak před 10 lety. A o nočním klidu se také nedá mluvit.... Když toto byl camp roku 2013 tak to nechci vidět ty ostatní. Za cenu 25 Eur a spaní ve stanu máme v ČR pěkný apartmán. A za cenu 9 Eur máte v Rakousku v Alpách pujčený El člun a ne šlapačku a to si myslím že jsou v Rakousku jiné platy než na Slovensku. A asi bych rozděloval camp na ty co chtějí grylovat. Aby někdo gryloval ráno v poledne a večer tak to už je trochu moc.
Huňáček P.August 2014Pozitiva- poloha a okolní příroda - příjemný a ochotný personál na recepciNegativa- hluk - špína - nedostatečná péče o sanitární zařízení - přemrštěné ceny v některých bufetechCelkem zklamání :(Pod dojmem toho, že se jedná o kemp roku 2013, jsme očekávali mnohem víc a s radostí do kempu zavítali. Byli jsme zde jen jednu noc a s ještě větší radostí jsme z kempu odjížděli. Do tichého prostředí to zde má hodně daleko a je nutno počítat s neskutečným hlukem, nebál bych se možná ani slova "bordelem",... který zde přes noční hodiny je. Chcete-li se v klidu vyspat, tak toto místo určitě nedoporučuji, dokonce nepomohly ani špunty do uší. Do čistého prostředí má toto místo také hodně daleko a od cca osmé hodiny večerní si s úklidem sanitárních zařízení již nikdo hlavu absolutně neláme a podle toho to tam také tak vypadá, o ranních zvratcích v umyvadlech i toaletách nemluvě. Okolí kempu a samotná Liptovská Mara jsou fajn. Kempovou pláž ale hyzdí různé odpadky, nedopalky, psí exkrementy, igelitové tašky a sáčky, atd., tedy nic idylického a poutavého. Ceny v místních stáncích a bufetech jsou různé - od zlodějských 2,40 € za malou porci hranolek, které vám jen podráždí žaludek, nikoli nasytí, až po 6 € za 560 g pizzu, ze které se dva v pohodě nají. Totéž platí o nápojích - někde se vás budou snažit natáhnout a okrást, jinde pořídíte za solidní peníz. Personál na recepci je příjemný a v pohodě, což je, mimo okolní přírody, asi jediné pozitivum tohoto místa, jinak to za moc nestojí a určitě víme, že tomuto místu se příště obloukem vyhneme.

Different fom advertising on website, there is no convenience store, the fast food and... even the beer at the snack bars is awful and expensive. However, staff is friendly and lake and scenery are very nice. Especially with regard to the price/benefit ratio (> 20 € for family with tent) I can't recommend this site.Automaticky přeloženo.
