Ursula W.July 2023PozitivaThe site is quiet despite the nearby road. It is ideally located for visiting places of interest on the west or east coast. For example, the Eden Project or Tintagel. The owners are super nice and helpful. In the morning there was a mobile coffee van, in the evening there was a pizza van or cocktails. The nearest town is not far away. There are a few restaurants there. You can buy small items and a few groceries in the camping store.NegativaThe nearest supermarket is in Bodmin.Super location!Any time again! Günther B.May 2017PozitivaBrilliant view, beautiful placeNegativaExciting access for campers, hardly any cateringTop of the HillAfter a very adventurous drive (one lane/very narrow in places), we were immediately surprised by the vastness of the site. The operators live next door and are therefore always present. The sanitary facilities are rustic but clean. We couldn't find any marked out pitches, everything is laid out more... like a large, very well-kept meadow, further back on the site there are a few permanent campers. At the back there is a chicken coop and a place for pigs and a bench where you can really enjoy the view into the beautiful green distance.
