Super campsite! total peace and lots of space! always well-kept sanitary facilities and a restaurant to melt away! 5 minutes to the train station and you can be in Gdansk in 20 minutes by train! can be recommended without reservation.

Discounter and train station within walking distance. Very suitable for sightseeing tours to the Tricity (Sopot, Gdansk, Gdynia). 10 min to the promenade.

Well suited as a starting point for visits to Sopot, Gdansk and Gdynia.
Functional equipment. Modernized sanitary facilities and cleaned several times a day. Unfortunately, also during peak times during operation. The complex looks a little dull, but seems to be undergoing a makeover. Excellent shopping and train connections (discount store and train station within a 5-minute walk). To Gdansk Old Town and back for 2.75 EUR. Friendly staff, speaks English and German.

Sopot - camping Metropolis
Klidný kemp v centru Sopotu (červen), v dosahu MHD, cyklotrasy a potravin (lidl, biedronka), na pláž asi 1km. Je umístěn za bungalovy, trochu mimo dohled. Socialky a kuchyňka zastarale, ale čisté ! Super jako výchozí bod pro cesty na kole nebo pěšky.

The campground is located in an attractive place, close to the sea and the electric train station to Gdansk and Gdynia. Shady. Some sites need to be cleaned up.

We almost didn't find the campsite despite our navigation device, as it only existed in a rear part, in front there was a building site of small vacation homes, and it was also renamed Metropolis. Of the 7 different sites we visited on this vacation, it was the worst and also the most expensive! To get... to the pitches, you had to negotiate stone edges, which was quite difficult with a caravan, but otherwise the pitches were fine. The sanitary building was very old and dark, but - as far as you could see in the near-darkness - it was kept clean, a cleaning lady sat in front of it almost all the time and cleaned frequently. Apart from that, there was nothing, absolutely nothing, neither anything to buy nor any leisure activities. The advantage was the short walk to the train station in Gdansk and the seaside resort of Sopot, which is well worth a visit. One can only hope that the nice young people who have probably taken over the site will soon be able to tackle a complete renovation or construction of a new sanitary building.

Well-kept site, good pitches, clean sanitary facilities, good starting point to Gdansk thanks to the proximity of the train station, but Sopot is also worth seeing.
