We really enjoyed it. The children could play in the playground with water, play in the sand and the many vehicles were a highlight. As campers we could cool our milk for coffee in the fridge. The sanitary facilities were always very clean and well... maintained. We have rarely had such a well-maintained site.
Spacious pitches, water, waste water (gray water) and electricity, everything directly on site.
Sanitary facilities very clean and modern. Finally a site that does without these nonsensical shower... tokens.
Also 5 stars for the operators! Friendly and very helpful and uncomplicated.
We were able to start some tours directly from the campsite, but for Rothaarsteig stages you have to drive 15-20 minutes.

We spontaneously went on a winter vacation to the Sauerland with our family (2 children + Havanese). The site is clearly laid out and therefore exactly what we like. Communication with the friendly operators was very straightforward and questions and requests were dealt with accordingly. The... pitches are large and the site is generally clean. The playground is relatively new and can therefore be recommended without hesitation. The location is pretty much between Winterberg / Willingen, so everything was covered for the "winter"! Sanitary always clean, to criticize perhaps the number of toilets.

Since there are no general rest periods on the campsite, as we know and appreciate from other campsites, we were able to drive to our chosen pitch at 2:30 pm.
The pitches are located on the terraces... to the right and left. There are three terraces on the right and one on the left. There are two mobile homes on the left-hand side. We don't know whether they are rental properties or permanent campers. They certainly look great from the outside.
You can order bread rolls for the next morning until 5 pm. There are normal rolls, rye rolls and croissants. There are also fresh eggs in the room where you get the rolls.
The sanitary facilities are clean and modern. There is a washing machine and a dryer in the room with two sinks (4 euros each per wash load). We used this once as our stay was a bit rainy. Masks must be worn in all closed rooms, disinfectant and soap are available in sufficient quantities.
You can actually see a lot in the surrounding area, but unfortunately many things were closed due to Corona (visitor mine, glass factory).

We had a pitch on the lowest level, so we were almost always alone. Although we traveled between Ascension Day and Pentecost, the place was heavenly quiet. We had delicious bread rolls in the morning. From the campsite, we set off every day on hikes on... the Rothaarsteig or other wonderful circular routes, which are available in huge numbers. A hiker's paradise! When we came back tired, large, spotlessly clean showers and our spacious pitch were waiting for us. The friendly operators made the vacation perfect! There is a large number of vehicles and a lovingly designed playground for children. Food, shopping and everything else you could want is available in the nearby towns of Winterfeld, Medebach and Willingen. Each plot has electricity, water and drainage. You can hear the church ringing in the village at 7:00 am. There is a road within earshot, but as there is little traffic, it is not disturbing. The playground was a bit carelessly designed and not well maintained... during our stay. The trampoline was broken, there was a barbecue between the play equipment and a pile of scrap metal right next to the playground. The farm also looked a little untidy. The site is a bit out of the way, so you really need a car for sightseeing or eating out. I was there for mountain biking. Access to tours in the direction of Winterberg, Usseln and Willingen is great and requires a lot of energy. The site itself has very large pitches, all of which... are easily accessible. Bread roll service is offered there. Sanitary facilities new and clean...very good. There are few to no places to stop for refreshments in the village, and none on the site. Close to the winter sports centers Winterberg and Willingen, this campsite is very quiet in a charming landscape. Very nice operators, the site belongs to a farm. The sanitary facilities were excellent, very modern and clean. Bread roll... service, gas bottle exchange, great value for money.
