We had a lovely pitch with a view of the lake. The site is terraced, so you can actually see the lake from every pitch. There is a small store where you can buy the essentials. There is also a boat rental service, but we didn't use it.

Everything in one room, toilets, washbasins and showers.Campsite directly on siteThe campsite is right next to the village. The site extends as far as the lake and is a great place to stand. From there, the ascent to the wash house is a good workout. The area is great for walking, there are paths right by the lake or through the forest up to the village. At the time we were there,... the store was only open from 10:00 to 13:00. So you had to have bread or bread rolls or go into Osby.
The permanent campers are all very nice and we were even offered home-grown vegetables. There is also a jetty and you can hire boats at the site.

The site is really nice, especially the pitches right by the lake. There is plenty of space to pitch a tent or similar next to the motorhome. The lake is great for swimming or boating. The shallow entrance with... the jetty is a real hit, especially for children. You can also play mini golf with the kids.
Although the sanitary buildings are no longer the newest, they were always very clean.
Overall, a great place where you can find peace and quiet and relax - but also do some good sport. You can simply choose a pitch, take the key for the electricity out of the box and start camping :-). The site is on a slope and is terraced. It was already empty, you had a view of the lake from almost everywhere. There are three different... buildings with toilets and kitchen, all of Swedish standard. Super clean and very well maintained. Beautiful walks are possible in the adjacent forest, and the route is also illuminated in the evening. In Osby (within walking or cycling distance) there are several stores and the Brio Lekoseum. Nearby in Älmhult is the huge first Ikea. The easy-going guy at reception was always friendly and helpful. I particularly liked the sanitary facilities. Finally showering without limits and extra costs. The washing machine was also cheaper than the other places at 30... crowns. We also really liked the cooking and washing-up area. Bright and clean. You get a chip for the sanitary facilities. Unfortunately only one per pitch. So you have to coordinate in the morning. Also not tragic. It was very quiet on the whole site, but it was also already off-season at the end of August. We stayed here for 4 nights. You should visit the Ikea Museum. Otherwise there are beautiful hiking trails in Älmhut. You can hire canoes and play mini golf on the site. As soon as we arrived, we were impressed by the friendliness and simplicity of the check-in process. And our pitch was a dream! In the bottom row of the terraced... pitch, right by the lake with a fantastic view and picture-book sunset. If there had been a tree to provide some shade, it would have been perfect, but it's not always as hot as it was this summer. Incidentally, because of the terraces, you have a beautiful view of the lake from almost all the pitches. The sanitary facilities themselves were clean and well equipped. You can hire canoes, stand-up paddle boards and children's vehicles at the campsite, but unfortunately our stay was too short for that. But it was enough for a swim in the lake. And we were very pleasantly surprised! A very friendly, young, uncomplicated operator (likeable "shore guy") gave us a free choice of pitch. The campsite is laid out in terraces, so you have a wonderful view across the lake... with its boats to the small town of Osby. This also allows you to choose how close you want to be to the lakeshore (watch out for mosquitoes!). There are plenty of opportunities for swimming and fishing. The lake is very shallow. However, you have to climb up to the top terrace level to use the sanitary building (large enough and clean) and take out the garbage. According to brochures, travel guides etc., the surrounding area offers some interesting destinations which we were unable to visit due to the brevity of our stay. We were bothered by the mosquitoes (around sunset) and the audible train track on the other side of the river. Otherwise really beautiful, idyllic and highly recommended!Automaticky přeloženo.

The terrain is laid out in terraces as a meadow without trees. Terraces are level and easy to access. We were there for the first two days of the low season and the site was accordingly empty, so we were able to choose a nice pitch in the first row with a view of the lake itself.... But even when the site is full, you probably have a good view of the lake from all the pitches, as the terraces are well laid out. The absolute plus for us was the bathing area with children's playground, water slide and jetty. As the water depth only falls very gradually, it is also suitable for small children. However, as it is an open bathing area, it is also frequented by non-campers, but this was very limited when we were there. We can't say what it's like during the vacation season. The service facilities were well maintained and clean. Only the ladies' showers could do with some renovation, as there was already slight mold growth in the lower shower area. We were welcomed very nicely and were then able to choose a pitch, as there was still a lot going on on the site, exactly what we were looking for, absolute peace and quiet. To the center approx. 3 KM, there good shopping possibilities. ideal also for excursions in the closer surroundings,... e.g. Kristianstad. Attention when approaching: Follow the signs "Camping" via Osby and do not follow the GPS. The site kiosk has been well expanded compared to last year. You can shop at the end of the road at ICA or in the village at Netto etc. This place is nice... to switch off and of course also swim and play. The price of 24€ was still reasonable. The staff were really nice. We would spend a few days there again.
