The sea is simply amazing. Very nice people. Unfortunately the playground was a bit brittle, but otherwise everything was great!!!!!!

Sanitary is a bit outdated and no longer up to date.
Expandable, but ok
We were there for Holy Week 2018. Friendly welcome, spacious pitches around small playgrounds. As always in NL after continuous rain a bit muddy meadow, but where should the water go if you are at or below sea level. I don't see that as a drawback. Sanitary facilities are a bit outdated, outside toilets... are simply no longer up to date. The sanitary facilities should also be slightly heated in March. There is a Thetford vending machine, which can be fed with the radio EC card or with the Thetford card available on site. The Thetford card can be topped up with credit cards or PayPal. Advantage: the first cleaning and then every fifth one is free. With chemicals €2.50, without €1.50. The beach is about 400-500 m from the CP beach exit, which is near the reception. As the beach is very shallow, the walk across the sandy beach to the water can easily be a few hundred meters. No beach cabins like in Zeeland, but 3 nice beach cafés. A bridge was built to cross the road between the beach and the campsite, so that children can easily be sent to the beach or to play in the dunes. The road was already barely audible without the leafy bushes, but in summer it will be even less noticeable. We were in a field about 100m from the road. The campsite has a nice restaurant where you can also order bread rolls. There is no store. There is one opposite the entrance to a vacation park, where the bread rolls are cheaper than on the campsite. The distance from the camper pitches is about the same as to the reception, there is a small side exit to the store on the other side of the access road. We will definitely go there again, we liked it. Dogs are allowed, ACSI is accepted

Paths, wash house and most importantly the friendliness
eigendlich very nice location, but not nice condition
We were the first time here and are very disappointed.Wärend our Aufendhates was 55 Genurstag of the place we were not invited.Donerstag was in the registration to say that we leave earlier, it not even the question if we liked it, nothing like that.The paths are very narrow, have many holes in which the water remains in the rain.The wash house for the season much too cold unless you want to come back sick from vacation.

Good pitches, sanitary facilities were OK, several excursion destinations (Rotterdam approx. 40 km, Gouda approx. 70 km, Amsterdam approx. 125 km), snack bar on site

Beach is not exactly a few minutes walk away, shower time and no temperature control,
Holland also has nice weather
We stayed at this campsite for 13 days in very nice weather. The reception was really nice, apart from English they also spoke a bit of German. Unfortunately a small mistake was made when allocating the pitch number, instead of the pitch number that was on the invoice, we were given a different number.... I didn't think anything of it (maybe the other pitch was already occupied), only 2 days later, another guest came and wanted to move into our pitch. Long story short "We had to move" which was of course annoying, but unfortunately couldn't be helped. To make up for it, we were given free wifi and a meal. The stated walking distance to the beach is relative (depending on where you stand on the pitch), the walk is a little longer. The showers are free, but after 5 minutes the showers run out and if you want to continue showering you have to be patient for a few minutes. But all in all it was a very nice vacation.
