Everything super well maintained and clean! The beach is an absolute dream! The supermarket is well equipped, not overpriced and the bread from the bakery tastes delicious. (There is even a small butcher's counter) The campsite has a lot to offer. The restaurant is perfectly fine for a campsite.

Ballermann is sacred. Double sound / animation from the Robison Club until midnight. This club is a disgraceful way to treat a campsite in paradise. The campsite management assigned us this spot next to the beach party. And that is the biggest... negative point for me. There would have been free pitches in the less crowded area. Or some information about what was going on would be appropriate. We have already experienced a lot and are not sensitive to noise. We were just passing through. Specified 3 nights for a beach time when booking. And had to pay for this immediately for the first time. The pitches are generally very nicely laid out and very large. You have a lot of privacy. The site has everything you need. The staff are very friendly, but only speak English. The beach and the sea are fantastic. The... sanitary facilities are not the newest but are completely adequate and clean. We didn't like the restaurant on site (drinks such as water from... plastic cups, pizza also not a big hit) about 50m outside a supermarket or shopping possibility in Ugento (large COOP).
Unfortunately the volume of the music from the Robinson Club next door goes late into the night, no chance to sleep before 24:00.

Pleasant smell if pins in the forest around the campsite.NegativaThe organization of the check-in is very bad. In a 4 stars camping, we had to wash by ourselves our sheets and towels (of Mobile Home), even if we stayed there for 2 weeks (14 days); the blankets are soo small that we have to use 2 for 1 adult.SirWe start the holiday with left foot there, because after 12 hours of driving 1000km, we had to wait another 5 hours to get the Mobile Home (they knew from where we are arriving and that we have 2 kids, 2 and 4 years old).
After 1st week, the main restaurant in the camping close at lunch, so we had no... place to buy cooked food, near our place; also after 1st week, the beach where we paid our umbrella and sunbeds get closed and we were moved to another beach (but for this one they gave me money back). However, as the structure management claims that they announced in advance that check-in is guaranteed starting with 17:00 (so we wait 5 hours), they should also inform guests that from 13th of September, the main Restaurant close at lunch, the beach n°4 close, there will be no entertainment for kids in the evening and the movie time change so that they can close earlier - because we would not come there. Maybe the water is magnificent there, and only for that I would recommend to others the place, even if I would probably no go back, but to Riva di Ugento, for the organization way that impacted us, I am not recommending (maybe for people with camper-van or caravan is a good place).Automaticky přeloženo. - René R.August 2020PozitivaBeach Pitches Leisure facilitiesNegativaTraffic on the main square roadVery niceHuge place, but divided into small areas so that we, as lovers of small places, were able to cope with it.
I would only advise against the pitches on the main road due to the heavy traffic there.
The pitches vary greatly in size in the pine forest or closer to the sea in the bushes and are laid out quite... naturally. There is sometimes a tree in the middle of the pitch. Some pitches are covered with a pergola.
The site is well organized, we were given a choice of 2 pitches on arrival (the site was quite full). The staff are very friendly and communication is no problem, at least in English.
Everything you need is available on site. The supermarket is well stocked, the restaurant reasonably ok.
The beach is beautiful and unspoilt. Fine sand and clear water.
The sanitary facilities are not luxurious, but clean.
The campsite itself is quiet at night (after the entertainment ends at 23:30), but it can be noisy from outside (pitches on the edge of the campsite).
Payment in advance is unusual. After a first night on a somewhat unremarkable pitch, we managed to find a wonderful pitch right behind the dune by the sea. These pitches are more for tents, but our camper van fitted in very well. The pitches around it were all empty,... so it was heavenly quiet. The beach is 5 stars plus for the Mediterranean. Almost empty, super fine dream sand and turquoise water that goes in forever shallow. Perfect for children. The sanitary facilities are okay, quite clean and totally in order. Whether this is also the case in high summer is doubtful. Certainly one of the most beautiful places in Italy for a beach vacation. Minus: the pizzaria is not worth the money. Even German baked pizzas are better. And the service in the restaurant isn't great eitherAutomaticky přeloženo.

Despite the fact that on the reservation there was among the notes written that we would arrive in 4 people (two adults and two children), camper and car in tow and preference on the desired pitch,... they took 24h for the approval of the estimate (and that's fine), they replied to me by e-mail that the estimate had been approved but the desired pitch was not available (and that's fine too). But since you answered me for the pitch why not tell me that the quote was wrong by default instead of upon my arrival finding a surprise of 90.00€ ? Maybe out of fear that I would not confirm the quote? And now in your opinion isn't it worse for me to write my negative experience about you and advise anyone passing through Ugento not to stop at your campsite? Last year they were cleaned at least once a day, which was absolutely sufficient even in the HS (early July). The pitch is kept very simple, but absolutely clean and safe. If you absolutely need all the connections... on the pitch, you have to book the luxury pitches, or best just stay on the upper Adriatic ;-) The staff is extremely friendly, there is nothing missing on the site that you absolutely need. The hinterland is rather barren, right next to the campsite there is a good pizzeria and a great pastry shop that also offers excellent ice cream and coffee. If you want to do some major shopping you have to drive a bit further, but Galipoli has everything. The pitches are rather cramped and not for the faint-hearted with a large camper van, but here too the groundsman is eager to help when things go wrong. The best thing is of course the beach, or rather the Ionian Sea, which looks like the Seychelles, and not just in the photos.Automaticky přeloženo.

I would have returned there for the umpteenth time again this year already the reservation in my pocket, but alas I am forced... to give up because dogs are not accepted and I do not want to leave him in a sad boarding house.
