The grass surface was soaked by rain, so you stand on gravel like a parking lot
A cozy place between high mountains
Time has stood still a little here. The sanitary building is small and getting on in years. The showers are partitioned off with curtains, but it is clean. We chose the site to visit the Viking village of Gudvangen. Apart from that, there is really only nature here with steep mountains and waterfalls. There is a supermarket and a restaurant in Gudvangen, but the prices are out of this world.

Very rude staff (a woman about 50) Even in cabins is noisy – they are next to the road Wifi was not working The view of the mountains is good Shared toilets and showers are closed betveen 12 and 13 (cleaning)

Not so quiet during the day due to the proximity to the street.
Great location, nice place
The site is located about 500m behind the end of the fjord and is surrounded by majestic and steep mountain slopes from which numerous waterfalls gush. In addition, the site is located on the central road, which is more or less the only road in the valley, so it is not so quiet, although there is hardly... any traffic in the evening, so that the road does not disturb the night's rest. At night there is therefore only the sound of the nearby stream. Otherwise a level site with good and clean infrastructure. Very friendly and helpful staff. In conclusion, a great starting point for excursions in the surrounding area.

Vangcamping is an ideal starting point for the countless excursion possibilities in the immediate vicinity of Nærøyfjord and Aurlandsfjord, including the Flåm Railway. The site and sanitary facilities are very well maintained. The kitchen and washrooms are cleaned several times a day. Dishwashing utensils... and wash bowls are available for use in the kitchen. The campsite offers little variety for children. It is just something for overnight stays and not for permanent campers. Compared to the extremely busy campsite in Flåm, Vangcamping is a very good and inexpensive alternative. The location on the Nærøydalselvi with a view of the Kjelfossen is appealing. The nearby E16 is hardly disturbing; the traffic was not audible at night. The cabins on the site offer space for couples or families, depending on size and budget.

Nice and clean site surrounded by high mountains, so no satellite reception. Located on the E16, but still quiet as there is little traffic. The sanit. Facilities clean, but a little small. Friendly owner. Ideal for a trip to Fläm and train ride to Myrdal

Small site in Nærøydalen, directly on the E16 - yet quiet at night. The high mountains to the left and right of the site are impressive. Sanitary facilities are clean but quite small.
