The whole team is always friendly without exception!!! This immediately makes you feel at home (pure vacation feeling)
I am there at least 7 - 8 times a year and have been... for many years, even in winter and I have never had anything to complain about!!!
Water and electricity at every pitch. Three toilet blocks spread over the entire site, which are cleaned around the clock.
A larger and a smaller restaurant with fair prices directly on the pitch. The thermal baths are directly adjacent to the site, with a restaurant. So three dining options within walking distance.
The Rhine ferry for crossing is only a few minutes' walk away. There are several cafés, restaurants and ice cream parlors.
Aldi, Rewe and Kick about 10-15 minutes walk away, Lidl a good 20 minutes walk For us it just doesn't get any better for a long weekend / week. Arrive, check in, dock, feel at home.
Also perfect for cycling, hiking and walking!!!
I am 56 years old and have been a camper since I was 5 years old and that is exactly why I allow myself to judge.
PS: Stay as you are, because that's how you are good!!! :-)

A rather simple campsite, but definitely recommendable and so I would like to share my experiences with you.
The campsite is located in Bad Hönningen in Rhineland-Palatinate, between Bonn and Koblenz.
The location directly on the Rhine... was really beautiful.
It was possible to book via a booking form.
A bread roll service is also available in the winter months.
The restaurant, the Campingklause, offers German and Croatian cuisine. The service staff are very friendly and the food was good.
In the summer months there is also a bar/bistro right on the water and a small store.
Electricity, water, V/E are available.
There are 3 wash houses scattered around the site. All are ok, but nothing more.
The rinsing stations are located at each wash house, but only outside.
The Kristall-Therme is located right next to the campsite. Thermal baths and various saunas invite you to relax.
Wellness treatments can also be booked and dining in a bathrobe is also possible.
The lady at the campsite reception was very friendly.
There is also plenty of information material about the site and the beautiful surroundings.
Hiking and cycling routes start at the campsite.
The Rhine ferry to Bad Breisig is about 300m away.
The center of Bad Hönningen is within walking distance. Rewe and Aldi are located here.
We can recommend the small store in Arenfels Castle to wine and gin lovers.

In the low season there was also enough space, but when fully occupied the pitches are a bit cramped. Bread roll service (unfortunately only from 9am), friendly welcome at reception, we received all the information... we needed. The thermal baths right next to the site are good (there is a voucher for a discount). As the train runs on the opposite side of the Rhine behind a few rows of houses, it is also quiet at night (except for the "humming" of passing ships).

- Udo S.September 2021PozitivaThe location, ideal for starting bike toursNegativaSanitary, everything is getting on in yearsThe place has nothing to do with wellnessThe happy coincidence of the site is that it is in the immediate vicinity of the Wellness Park and that was it with wellness on the site. The hygiene area is very outdated and in my opinion no longer up to date. In the rear sanitary building (Sanitary3) the showers are quite narrow and the storage space... for clothes is accordingly bulky, so that things are almost bound to get wet. 50 cents for a shower (6min) is ok but I prefer showers included in the price (my opinion). Then you could also save yourself the following stress, the slot machines for the money are at the entrance here you choose the number in which cabin you want to shower, once you have done that you go back to your cabin, if you are lucky, the previous person has turned off the hot water, if not you have wet pants in this case if it is a long one or you just take off your clothes in the anteroom there is more space anyway. Once you have overcome this hurdle, you can have fun adjusting the water (no single-lever mixer), sometimes too cold, sometimes too hot, and after what feels like 3 minutes you finally have a bearable temperature. Relaxed showers are history now at the latest, who likes to run out of the shower with foam on their head to throw money at it? In the toilet, the toilet paper holders make so much noise when unrolling that it's really unpleasant. But the location of the place on the Rhine is really fantastic, but that has nothing to do with wellness.Automaticky přeloženo.

Caravan with awning on the water and behind it the car (approx. 5m wide x 15m deep), we were in area A (pitch A0029), which was a corner pitch in the third row, the sanitary facilities... at the reception building were older but always clean. The first night the power went out, an overload in the power distributor, with FOUR connected caravans/motorhomes, after that we only had problems with the power supply, so we only had to run the fridge on gas. Several complaints to reception were to no avail. The wifi is free for seven days, but if you have used 1GB per day, the connection is blocked until the next day...

C.July 2020Pozitivagood location directly on the Rhine, cycle path directly accessible, 5 min to the city, two good restaurants/snack barsNegativa?Beautifully situated, gladly again :-)The campsite is located directly on the Rhine in two terraces. Little shade due to trees, the pitches are sufficiently large to spacious (ask about size!). There is electricity at every pitch and many also have a fresh water connection which is shared by a few pitches. There is a store with the most... basic necessities and fresh bread rolls in the morning without pre-ordering. There are also two restaurants on the site, the Croatian is better in terms of food, but the bistro on a terrace with flowers and palm trees directly on the Rhine is more beautifully situated (drink a coffee here and watch the boats!). The sanitary facilities are sufficient to good: good=right at the end of the site, mediocre=right next to reception, sufficient=toilet container in the middle of the site. The staff at reception are friendly and quick, everything went very smoothly. Despite the relatively large space, it is also quiet from 2230 - if you are not disturbed by the diesel engines of passing ships. Wash houses ok, one is a container. All three were clean. Bread rolls are available in the kiosk without pre-ordering, I didn't get grain rolls, but the festival campers behind me did, hihi. There was a Rewe, Aldi and a bakery nearby, so everything was fine! Pitches with different... surfaces, sometimes grass, gravel stones or concrete as well as concrete slabs from former festival campers! We found the gravel to be perfect, sour in the rain and pegs go into the ground! Attached to the campsite is the thermal spa, which is particularly inviting in bad weather. Sure, of course, even close to the thermal baths. We wanted to see Father Rhine and stand right next to the Rhine. It went like clockwork, the weather was on our side. The sun was on the other. Plenty of sun... and boats all day long. The sanitary facilities are very clean and (as it had cooled down to 9 degrees at night) very cold. Unfortunately, there is no single-lever mixer, at least in the ladies' showers, which have to be operated with a 50 cent piece. The taps are calcified and very old. No longer up to date. If these are renovated, 5 stars from us. We wanted to stay longer than booked, and intensive research was carried out to see if it was possible. The staff are ALL very friendly and helpful. We have a motorhome with trailer. The pitches are big enough. This should be announced before arrival, then the staff will try to find the right place, because there are also smaller places. The trailer is not charged extra, as on many other sites. Wifi works well and is included in the price. A tip on the side: The Camping-Klause has a great host, a nice smile and a plate full for little money. The old town and grocery stores are within walking distance. Everything is well signposted. We paid €80 for the two of us including camper + trailer, pitch, tourist tax, electricity and waste disposal fee for 3 nights. We've stayed in worse and more expensive places for that. We think the price is absolutely reasonable. One thing is certain for us: this was not our last visit! It is well worth it.Automaticky přeloženo.

The toilets were filthy, the shower water was cold, the laundry was cold and finally you were made to feel like a pig for leaving the campsite half an hour later than 12 noon. An employee in the blue on is cheeky and impertinent, and you get told... we can do without them here too - you can only advise everyone to stay away. Since a new manager is doing his mischief there you think it is a five star campsite and the prices correspond to that just stay away because Rheinblick is not everything you don't have to be treated like that I think you have to get the press on it I'm just horrified never againAutomaticky přeloženo.

We are working on the size of the pitches. Some pitches in the B-area have already been widened during the winter season to accommodate the ever-increasing number of motorhomes/caravans. As existing pitches have to be removed for the widening, we can only use unreserved pitches... for this. However, the pitches on the banks of the Rhine are very popular and regularly booked in the summer months. This leaves us with only the winter months to put our plans into practice.
Hedges and trees had to be removed for our management due to official regulations, as we are located in the direct floodplain of the Rhine.
However, we are in consultation with the authorities to restore as much greenery as possible.
We must adhere to the requirements of the authorities for all structural changes, including the extension of the three existing sanitary buildings.

Booked pitches of other campers were already occupied. Too few sanitary facilities (3 sanitary blocks for almost 500 pitches means long waiting times for washing, showering, rinsing...). Very high flat rates for water, electricity etc., yet showers and washing up still... have to be paid for separately. According to other campers who have been here repeatedly, the pitches are getting smaller from year to year, the number of pitches is increasing, but the sanitary facilities remain the same. The entrance and exit to and from the site is quite narrow, leads partly through the city center and is not easy to manage thanks to oncoming traffic and cars parked on the roadside. Attempts are being made to change some things, but this is partly due to bureaucracy. The planned new wash house will not be built for the time being. The pitches are being renovated as far as possible. Some of them look very good, but not... the other way around (concrete slabs). The sanitary facilities are being modernized, but are far from sufficient, as was the case at full occupancy over Easter. Restaurant on site is also of varying quality depending on table occupancy. Staff always top friendly and nice. The new exit was opened at Easter, which makes arrival and departure easier. We had a pitch in the first row, which is of course great, unfortunately on a concrete slab (no. 52). Unfortunately, the town of Bad Hönningen is dead. Nothing going on and extinct. At the weekend, a flea market at the Rhine parking lot was the only experience in town.
