The pitches for motorhomes or caravans are unfortunately small and very narrow to drive on, all of them have a steep slope. The price-performance ratio was not satisfactory despite the great view and the pool. 40 per night for a camper and 2 people.

Beautiful but lots of traffic
Our stay at this campsite in July 2017 was very pleasant. Ideally located in the heart of the Chianti region, it offers a good base for exploring Tuscany. The site is terraced on two levels, with the tent campers at the bottom and the caravanners and mobilists at the top. The visitors are almost exclusively... Europeans from the northern latitudes, with a large number of Dutch people. The sanitary facilities are functional, the showers a little cramped, but everything is relatively clean. However, a little more cleaning (e.g. against cobwebs) would be advisable, otherwise the site, which was created in 2015, won't look so good at some point. The building materials used reflect Italy very nicely, almost everything was paneled and paved in natural stone. There is plenty of electricity, water is not always available and there are no permanent connections. The pool is a real showpiece and is always very clean. The only perceived disadvantage is the passing Strada Romita. It is a connecting road between two state roads and the speed is not regulated at the campsite. Especially in the evening and early hours of the night, at least one car or rattling Vespa passes by every 30 seconds. The noise level on the upper terrace is much higher for caravanners and campers than for those camping on the lower level. After just under a week, we found it a major nuisance, as wine bought during the day can only be enjoyed on the pitch to a limited extent. The exhaust fumes from the vehicles do the rest.

We stayed at this site in June 2017 for a few nights with our motorhome. The pitch was gravelled, large enough and had electricity. The sanitary facilities are clean. However, the showers are very small. The pool area is really great and has a fantastic view. Unfortunately, there was no bread roll service... at our time and the shopping facilities are further away. We also found the road that runs past the campsite a little annoying. As we like hiking, we had hoped to be able to go on some hikes from the campsite. This is only possible to a very limited extent.

Great location
We were there in summer 2016, we really liked it. Everything was brand new, the sanitary facilities were great, the pool was nice to cool off in and the view of the Tuscan countryside was magnificent! Very friendly and helpful owners. Ideal location for excursions to the sights of Tuscany.

Peace and relaxation in beautiful Tuscany
A wonderful place between Siena and Florence in the beautiful Chianti mountains. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you - no major roads, no noisy entertainment, just a wonderful view over the rolling hills of Tuscany. The pool is the icing on the cake and invites you to laze... around. We particularly liked the fact that this is a small campsite that is run with a lot of passion and love by a family. The owners were always approachable and helpful, no matter what the issue. The bread roll service and the small stall selling chilled Tuscan wine, beer and soft drinks were also great. The place is relatively far from the beaten track (which we found great), to go shopping you definitely need a car (or you like to cycle longer :) ) Great location for exploring Florence, San Gimignano and Siena.
