Top alpine panorama. Good, reasonably priced food. But that was it. Pitch with electricity on an uneven meadow. Overnight guests park scattered around. Tourist tax, additional car fee, what for? Unkempt old sanitary facilities, also used by restarant guests.

Wonderfully beautiful sunrise
The access road to the site is quite winding and steep for a large caravan. On the site there was a separation between permanent campers and short-term campers. The sanitary facilities have already seen their best days. But the sunrise was unforgettable and the Alpine panorama is also impressive.

A pleasant stay
Friendly staff, new, clean and very pleasant sanitary facilities, easy to find and very quiet. On the downside, the showers are poorly designed, and the spray sprays all the stuff next to them. We were jolted awake by continuous gunshots (probably a ball trap) which lasted all morning (the campsite had nothing to do with it, but it was unpleasant enough to mention).

old, no reception, crowed on a plain field
on top of a very steep hill, close to the autobahn which can be heard day and night! guessts have to park on a plain field, 1 meter next to each other with like 20 other campers. bathrooms very old, insufficient, only three toiletts and three very narrow shower cabins for 100+ people! road has pottholes... everywhere, some had to share electricity with 2 other families! the garbage area is disgusting! so is the storage for food right next to it, never again! not even for one night!

Okay for a stopover
Farm with a great restaurant. The site itself is not very structured for tourists. We had to share an electricity connection with two families, although we had reserved two pitches. The access road is a challenge for northern Germans as it is a narrow road with hairpin bends (the Bavarians must be laughing).... Otherwise it was fine for a stopover. In the showers there was a bit little pressure on the tap and in the toilet I was afraid that the toilet paper wouldn't rinse off.

Good place for transit
Friendly staff, site not terraced, partly characterized by permanent campers. Hardly any trees to provide shade. Uncomplicated check-in and payment, friendly and cordial staff. The food at the inn deserves a particularly positive mention. Very sumptuous, well prepared, reasonably priced. Due to the proximity to the highway (800m as the crow flies), it is correspondingly noisy. Access 10% gradient - road quite narrow.

Suitable for everything
Stayed here on the way back from Croatia. A little higher up, with a wonderful view. Operator totally nice, and great cook. The sanitary facilities are past their prime, but ok for a night or two. If the weather had cooperated, we would have stayed one or two days. Central for a lot of excursion destinations. We will definitely be back.

We drove to this campsite this year to spend the night on our way to Croatia. We were able to stay on the grass at the campsite, had electricity, were served in a very friendly manner and also had a very tasty meal there. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are not nice, old and not very clean. But it's ok for one night.

The site is about 1.5 km up the hill from Siegsdorf, including a hairpin bend and a somewhat tight curve. The site operator (and host) are very nice and uncomplicated. The food is great and cheap! The sanitary facilities are rather "functional" and unfortunately a bit old and not very well maintained.

Hochberg campsite (near Traunstein): The name Hochberg says it all: it's about 1.5 km up 150 meters in altitude to the campsite at the farm. A challenge for cyclists. The supermarket is at the bottom! However, there is a restaurant with a cozy terrace. The portions are plentiful at moderate prices. Breakfast rolls are available to order. The sanitary facilities work, but are unfortunately very unkempt. Showers included.
