- Marek P.August 2018PositiveAreal of the merchant.NegativThe rules are only on paper. The SBS is only there to check your cards and whether you leave by 11am on the last day of your stay.Big noise even up to 2h. It was impossible to sleep. Incompetent SBS.Stay 08/2018. Completely unsuitable for families with children. Unhelpful group made noise until 2h at night. SBS left after a short discussion. About 24h the police arrived on the basis of which they turned off the music. Then they shouted into the night. The next day several families complained and... demanded that the band be expelled. As soon as SBS confirmed that they would be expelled, the police came to help. But then they were persuaded and, despite several families complaining, they were allowed to stay in the camp. 3 or 4 families left the campsite early with their children. They said they didn't want to give them money at first, but then they did.Automatisk oversat.
- Andrej M.August 2018Positivethe campsite includes a swimming pool and refreshmentsNegativNoise deep into the night, absolute disorganization in the tent city, absolute unhygienic toilets - the maid was washing the mop out of the toilet in the sink!all the previous comments are true, but the reality is even worseI don't even know where to begin to review my stay with my wife and 7 and 3 year old child. We pitched our tent without any marked site, in the evening we found that after 10pm a high powered LED lamp 3 metres from our tent came on and it was light as day when we got up. After stalling we were told that... it was none of our concern! With a bit of exaggeration, this is how prisoners were tortured in the past. The disco officially ended at 11pm during the week, but of course there was noise until dawn. Over the weekend they got tougher and on Friday/Saturday night the noise was until 3am. The next day they put up a tent next to us about 50cm away - so there was no chance to pass between the fixing lines - so I had to cancel half of the fixing and hope another storm didn't come. That night we discovered that they had about a 2 month old baby in the tent next door, who had been choking all night( I was really surprised the parents weren't worried about his health). The cleaners did their best to maintain the sanitary facilities, but they were desperately undersized and overworked. However, I was most dismayed when I caught the cleaner washing the mop off the toilet in the sink , where we were washing the dishes! There are relatively plenty of buffets during the day, but you can't get a hot meal after the final one at the swimming pool i.e. 8pm. I'm not surprised that after 4 days I was absolutely wrecked(virus, intestinal problems - shame to say) - so for me never again in my life. Štúrovo is otherwise a nice little town, Esztergom even more so, Budapest close by - but I don't recommend this campsite in any case.Automatisk oversat.
- Valentin E.June 2018IncredibleOn June 21, 2018, I wanted to spend the night at this campsite. However, I was turned away with the explanation that this vehicle is not a motorhome, it is like a car and you are not allowed to sleep in a car. I could spend the night outside in the parking lot, but not use the sanitary facilities. In... the last three years, I have traveled to eighteen countries in my small motorhome. I have mostly spent the night at campsites. I have reviewed many of them here. Not one of these sites had a problem with the size of my motorhome. Five kilometers away, in Hungarian Gran, I was given a very friendly welcome at a beautiful campsite.Automatisk oversat.
- Lucia P.August 2017Positivelocation near the vadaš shopping centreNegativmess, mold, dirt...VadaszSince we went camping with our parents in Vadus for about 10 years as children, we decided to go again, but with our son. Upon arrival it was already completely different than sometimes, when they gave us the cards and let us into the area, we searched for a long time for a place, no marking of the site... as before, never mind, we found a place, we folded the tent. OK, we went swimming. But it was getting dark and we needed to use the shower and toilets in the campsite. Well, horror and horror. PLESEN, SPINA, PAVUCINY, horrible. There was a disco nearby, it was roaring into the night all over the campsite, the little one fell asleep, so we didn't mind so much, but after an hour of sitting outside, suddenly they started to look out from the next tent that a fox had run through their legs, but what can I tell you, we didn't extend our stay, we occupied ourselves the next day and went home...Automatisk oversat.
- Michal 0.July 2017Positivethermal water,Negativcleanliness of showers, toilets, no rules or night quiet apply,Never againI do not recommend for families with children, we were in a tent and we had a pitch with hook-ups but we were still stressed if someone tripped over our tent, the carousels were switched off at about 23:00 and it was not quiet even at 3:00 in the morning. Of course 6:30 was already a wake-up call - one day chainsaws the next day a garbage truck, the problem is that the campground has no rules and that's a mistake.Automatisk oversat.
- Petr L.July 2016PositiveFor me, noNegativNoise, large and overwhelming number of people, impossibility to play in the pool with children.Big disappointmentIt's not a camp, it's an amusement park. From all sides ramus of music, comedians with carousels right in the camp, roaring of the eagle until morning, slamming of car doors all night long, etc. Stupid system of accommodation in the camp, when you are thrown from the entrance to the camp to the reception... 500 meters away, where you have to stand in a half-hour queue to receive chip cards with which you only get into the camp. These are issued against a deposit of 2 euros, which is then returned to you by the machine behind the reception. You can only get to the campsite until 8pm, if you arrive later you will spend the night in the car park in front of the campsite. In the pools head on your head, the only deeper pool suitable for fooling around is guarded by an annoying lifeguard who constantly whistles at you if you jump the dart crookedly, or take the kids on his shoulders or otherwise fool around there. Kids with half-starts are uncompromisingly thrown out of the pool, I haven't seen so many pissed off parents and grandparents in a long time. Toboggans chapter for itself, queue up to the bottom of the tower, only two slides that can be ridden without an inflatable ring. The others only with one, but you have to get one first, it's an erarni ring. Those who don't have patience and sharp elbows won't slip and will throw away 4,50 euro for nothing. I have found that children are more considerate of each other than adults and are sometimes willing to lend the rings to another. Where a chubby, balding, gold-toothed man in his fifties bravely resisted the children's pleas to borrow a ring for perhaps two hours and didn't let it out of his hand the whole time. The whole swimming was absolutely nothing and about constantly harassing swimmers. When I left I was looking for the machine to return the cards and because of the queue at the reception which led to the outside I asked the security guard, who instead of saying here around the corner, waved his finger in some unspecified direction with the words outside mate mate sign there mate it mate draw. Luckily I only took two nights to try it out, with the idea of stretching it out. 2 kids, 2 adults, a small caravan on an area without electricity. Ca 65 euros for 2 nights. This is the first campsite I've left with joy and was looking forward to being away. For me never again. However, if you like to be around lots of people and disco style entertainment you will enjoy it.Automatisk oversat.
- Jozef M.July 2014PositiveThe only advantage is the proximity to the pools although even this can be debated is ugly pool company charges in accommodation if you like swimming .NegativUnbearable noise until late at night which can still be heard 2 km from the campsite, problem with hot water in showers, washbasins and kitchenetteI definitely do not recommend this camping for families with children and people who want to relaxCamping Vadaš is probably a world rarity, because exactly in the middle between camping 1 and camping 2 there is music blasting from the speakers until midnight, if you were at a techno party. When I saw a family with small children who came there to the tents I felt sorry for them, our little one tolerated... it somehow in the caravae but there was certainly no sleep when the music ended at midnight drunken actors of the disco moved to a booth with NON STOP operation about 10 m away to camping1 where they continued the fun until the early hours of the morning so sleep was not threatened. If you wanted to shower after 9pm you could wait desperately for half an hour or more before the hot thermal water started flowing but with the sub 17 degree temperatures we experienced there last year it was impossible to shower anyway. Personally, I am disappointed with the services of this company that runs the camp and I preferred to go from there to another camp near Štúrovo, but the price is two thirds lower and the peace, warm water and children's playground right in the camping, which Vadas does not offer. Personally, I will never go back there again as it is the second time I have experienced disappointment and it is getting worse. I guess the managers of the company are quite sure that they have no competition and people will come I believe that a clever person in a nearby campsite will take hold of this and create a counterbalance to the incompetent Vaadsh workers to prepare for their not few paying clients a really nice prosteredie at an affordable price. Although they write that they are going to reconstruct the camp in 2015, it is not about that, it is about the concept of camping as a part of accommodation and not entertainment as it is perceived in Vadasa.Entertainment simply does not belong in the center of the camp because it is at the expense of the most vulnerable, namely small children.Automatisk oversat.
- anton k.July 2013noooo it's hard to evaluate because for the money you leave there in a week you can turn around even Croatia ..otherwise you can find disco almost everywhere:-) when you are in a dwelling so you don't even smell it but in a tent? there it must be cheerful:-) prices?hmmm a bit exaggerated..for everything you pay:-) but my opinion.... I know for sure that I will not go to vadas anymore...Automatisk oversat.
