Beautiful natural campsite in a great location - pure nature
Very quiet campsite with huge pitches directly on the Roskilde Fjord. The approach was very pleasant, as the main road runs directly above the campsite (unfortunately sometimes noisy at night) and the reception was very friendly and uncomplicated. The price for 2 weeks in the high season really surprised... us. We haven't been able to get a pitch for this price in Croatia for a long time. Our pitch was only separated from the fjord by a cow pasture. Wonderful views included. However, there are also beautiful pitches in the upper area, which offer an even better view due to the height. The lower sanitary building is made of wood and is relatively open, which is sustainable, but also offers a little less comfort. As I said: a concept close to nature! However, the family bathrooms in the main building are super large and freely accessible for everyone. There is another older sanitary building in the upper area, which was also ok. Overall, the sanitary facilities were fine.
The pitches are mega large and partly bordered by hedges. The pitches are on level grass, which is very pleasant. There is a jetty by the fjord. Unfortunately, the water there is not really suitable for swimming. But it is for catching crabs :) On the other side of the headland, however, you will find the most beautiful sandy beaches. These are very easy to reach by bike or car.
The farm store sells home-grown vegetables and goat/lamb meat. The owner also bakes her own bread, which was very tasty. The bread roll service was also great! There are two playgrounds in total, which were fine.

We felt very comfortable and can really recommend the site. It doesn't always have to be glamping!

Generous space with a warm welcome
A wonderfully spacious site with its heart in the right place. The sanitary facilities were excellent, the ones in the lower campsite area were even made of wood and very clean. The farm store invites you to store for regional products, the operators are very warm and helpful - you'll be happy to come back!

I found the campsite so nice that we stayed for 5 days. The place and the sanitary facilities were very clean. We were almost at the water's edge on a large pitch that was separated by hedges. In the small kiosk you can get the most necessary things. There is a bus stop directly opposite the campsite The staff are friendly and helpful

God service og renlighed, gode faciliteter, hygge og natur. Det er en fordel med en cykel, da der er en cykelsti lige til pladsen.
Negativ
Stranden er mere en soppestrand og fiskestrand, end en badestrand. Men meget smuk udsigt.
Smukt sted, med fred og ro og skøn natur.
Jeg har haft et skønt ophold på Byaasgaard camping i juli 2016. På trods af en del regnvejr, var det en god ferie med super naturoplevelser fra Halsnæs og det gik fint med at bo i en af overnatningshytterne, som var en billig overnatning for en studerende. Gode faciliteter og meget fint og rent og god service.
