- Frankie W.June 2024PositiveEast access to the site, nice spot for my tent, clean bathrooms, plenty of stalls, no queues. Beach 4 minutes walk with a restaurant and ice cream on the way, shop on site. Piran is about 10-15 mins walk on the seaside, beautiful scenery. Staff incredibly helpful.NegativTent spots near the road, it can be noisy, but no major traffic. Not many wall sockets for tent campers, but power banks and phones can be charged in the reception for free.Lovely weekendGood experience all together, would recommend for solo travellers and families.
- Peter J.July 2022PositiveThe location is very good as you can get to Piran quickly.NegativSanitary facilities and WCs.The state of hygiene is an outrage! The showers and toilets are extremely dirty, are under water and there is no light during the day although it is extremely dark in these rooms.
Clean sanitary facilities are the minimum for a campsite! The price per night is outrageous.
The staff is nice and helpful but that doesn't outweigh the above in the slightest.Automatisk oversat. - Tanja P.June 2021PositiveProximity to PiranNegativPoor price/performance ratio unkemptThe charm of a parking spaceThe motorhome pitches are outside the actual campsite. You stand on a strip of grass behind a barrier. It reminded me more of a parking space/parking lot. But quite expensive. The site is unkempt. The hygienic condition of the sanitary facilities is ok.
The proximity to Piran is the big plus. A 10-minute walk directly along the sea.
The staff are friendly and helpful.Automatisk oversat. - Tanja S.August 2020PositiveLocationNegativPitch, sanitary facilities, hygiene, feel-good factor, atmosphere, cleanliness throughout the site, pitch size, crowdsReally badThis "campsite" is on an extremely low level. The sanitary facilities were old, dirty and partly the floor was under water (according to the smell including waste water). All around the sanitary area it smelled of urine and garbage.
The pitch resembled a run-down, narrow parking lot between beach restaurants,... children's vending machines and the walkway to the sea. We had no room to put out our table and chairs and didn't even want to, as the crowds of people walked 2m past our car and it was loud and crowded during the day.
You can't call it camping! If the site didn't have electricity, any parking lot near Piran would be more appealing.
Price-performance ratio is really a bottomless impertinence!!!!!!!Automatisk oversat. - Simon W.October 2019Positive- Playground by the sea - Piran within walking distance - nice Slovenian permanent campers (many anglers!)Negativ- camping is an imposition (right next to the road, "dog meadow" in October, little space, large street lamps) - no atmosphereOne night in October with a tentArrival in the low season (early October) at around 7 p.m. - with the harsh remark that reception was only staffed from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. One overnight stay with a small tent on a loamy/earthy area in the camp, which at this time was being misused by the permanent campers as a dog exercise area. Very... friendly permanent campers who gave our children in particular a very warm welcome. The sanitary facilities were little used at this time and in good condition. All sales offers were no longer open at this time. The nearby access to the sea with jetty and playground for children make the camp just about acceptable for an emergency stop or a short stop for Piran. With a tent it is actually an imposition and motorhomes are parked in a "parking lot". We won't be coming here again....our vacation days are too valuable for that.Automatisk oversat.
- Jacek S.September 2019PositivePołożenieNegativFatalna obsługaFatalna obsługaObsługa pracuje tam chyba za karę, bardzo niechętna do pomocy, wręcz utrudnia dostęp do toalety chemicznej i wody, brak wężów, końcówek itd. Jakość fatalna do ceny.
- Johannes B.July 2019PositiveFoot/cycle path to Piran.NegativNot worth mentioning ;-)Friendly accommodating staff and good locationWe can't quite understand the bad reviews! @Campsite: The door at the ladies toilet (outside) is stuck :-(Automatisk oversat.
- Werner S.June 2018PositiveNot far to PiranNegativYou actually expect more.Where the 4 stars come from???????????????After our 3 week tour of Croatia, the worst and at the top in terms of price. Sanitary facilities catastrophic, clean is a foreign word and the smell takes your breath away. Apart from that, the staff were helpful. Electricity for 12 vehicles but space for 20 ? length of cable 2x 25 m not enough. No fresh water. Bottom line 1 night immediately to Piran and come home late then it works.Automatisk oversat.
- Carolin H.June 2018PositiveClose to the city. Directly by the sea.Motorhome pitch by the seaWe were no on the meadow in front of the campsite, for motorhomes. This is right by the sea, very nice. The town can be reached on foot in about 10-15 minutes via a footpath along the sea. You can also get to the sea directly from the campsite, where you can swim (although there is no sandy beach). There... is an extra toilet block for motorhomes, so you don't have to walk to the campsite first, which is great. We really enjoyed our stay for the visit to Piran.Automatisk oversat.
- Dorina K.August 2017PositiveLocationNegativSanitary facilitiesOk for one nightThe campsite is located directly by the sea and is only a 10-minute walk from Piran. There are two pitches for motorhomes, one on grass and one on asphalt. Not the nicest but ok for one night. The sanitary facilities are not well maintained and the showers are dirty. There was an unpleasant smell of... sewage in the washrooms. The site is not recommended for campers. Very small sloping meadow. The tents are no more than a hand's breadth apart. The staff were very friendly and spoke perfect English. If you are traveling with a camper and want to see Piran, this is a good place to stay for one night.Automatisk oversat.
- Jeanette F.August 2017NegativRocky land for camping with no shelter.Camping on rocky unsheltered ground. The provision for tents is awful. A very, very rocky patch of land with no shelter is simply not good enough. The tents were almost piled up on each other with no space of our own outside of our tent. I wish we had read the reviews of the campsite before staying there, which is why I'm eager to write... this. Seems to be better equipped for mobile homes etc so cannot comment on what they are like. The location is great, close to the town and to the sea but our stay on site was very uncomfortable.
- Lorenz I.September 2016PositiveNoneNegativDirty. Expensive. Unfriendly. Impersonal. And the worst thing is that the barrier is locked and in an emergency you can't get in at nightNot recommendedDirty. Unfriendly, almost only permanent campers. Cramped. Dog excrement on adjacent pitch. Far too expensive. Better to drive on.Automatisk oversat.
- Ronny F.August 2016PositivePiran is within walking distanceNegativdirty toilets, unfriendly staff, lots of traffic through the vacation apartmentsDirty, unfriendly campsiteWe wanted to try out a campsite in Slovenia when we were passing through Croatia. We chose the campsite because it is near Piran and we really wanted to have a look at this place. The staff only speak English. We didn't expect much from the campsite, but our expectations were exceeded. We received a... very rough welcome, the campsite was unclean and probably hadn't been cleaned for weeks. On the site itself there are probably only permanent campers, we were put on an outside pitch. We had an electricity connection nearby, other campers were not so lucky. You definitely need a long supply line. We did not find a water connection. The nearest toilets are used by other bathers during the day and are correspondingly dirty. In the evening they are locked and you get a key for these and the main sanitary facilities in the actual CP. The toilets were not cleaned during our stay, in the morning only the toilet paper was refilled. The stretch of sea we visited was clean, the water was clear and we didn't see any jellyfish etc.. The sea was very rough that day and there were quite big waves. In the evening we visited our actual destination, Piran. A very nice place, but the Slovenians still need to work on their hospitality. We didn't receive a very friendly welcome in any of the restaurants we visited. Piran is worth a visit, but not the campsite. We do not recommend the campsite at all.Automatisk oversat.
- Marie H.August 2014PositiveDirectly by the sea Mini market availableNegativLittle space for tentsCamping right by the seaWe stayed at Camp Fiesa for 3 nights. The location right by the sea is unbeatable, especially because Fiesa is not directly in the town and therefore relatively quiet (especially in the evening). There are relatively few pitches for tents, which are on rather hard ground, but bearable. The sanitary facilities... are ok, unfortunately the showers smelled very strongly of sewage. The advantage for the more lazy is the mini-supermarket directly in the campsite, which means you don't have to go all the way to Piran to do your shopping (at a slightly higher price, of course).Automatisk oversat.
- Fiorin G.August 2014To be avoidedCampground with an area for tents where you can't even put the cables for the pegs because of how much it is occupied by other tents one on top of the other, it has no washing machines but not even a laundry room. In the strip where I was placed ( 4mx40 ) between the road and the escarpment, there were... 10 other tents with an average of 25 € per night per tent, do the math on what these 160 sq. m. make to these vile misers who only spend on brands like Mercedes just to understand their stature.Automatisk oversat.
- erich W.August 2013A site dominated by permanent campers. At the end of August, only the tent strip (sloping, unparceled, opposite the road) was free for motorhomes. Sanitary facilities therefore above the road in the CP. Public path leads across this strip. Piran can be reached very close via a beautiful lakeside path. Water was full of jellyfish. From our point of view, only recommended for visiting Piran.Automatisk oversat.
- Beate H.June 2013Family campsite for campers who don't demand too much luxury. Absolutely clean sanitary facilities, which are cleaned several times a day. The location of the tent pitches takes a little getting used to. A narrow strip of meadow, partly slightly sloping and directly on the road (behind a large hedge),... which is not very busy, however. Short distance to the water and the town of Piran. Originally we only wanted to stay two nights, but ended up staying 8 nights. We liked it. We also didn't find the prices too high, €22.40 for two people, tent, car and tourist tax.Automatisk oversat.
- tine r.August 2011Mainly permanent campers, small sloping pitches for tents, directly on the road. Directly on the beach with a great beach volleyball court. High prices, sanitary facilities: showers only available at certain times.Automatisk oversat.
- Kiki T.June 2011In my opinion a really nice, clean, reasonably priced, beautifully situated campsite. Not overcrowded, very manageable, functional (don't expect luxury), for the small size many well-cleaned sanitary facilities, nice helpful staff, well guarded, rather populated by locals, not directly by the sea but... the 5min walk is ok, beach is a gently sloping pebble beach (so you can go into the water without bathing shoes and it is suitable for children). The store on the campsite offers the essentials. Please note: there are only a limited number of tent pitches (approx. 10-15!!) and I don't think you can go there with camper vans or caravans. There are a lot of firmly anchored caravans (with garden fences and canopies). The campsite is located in a bay which can only be reached via a passable road and apart from a few small hotels, 2 restaurants/cafés and the campsite, there is no other infrastructure. However, you can walk (20 minutes) along a paved path by the sea to Prian --> you come out directly at the church! And in Prian you can find everything you need! Camping Fiesa gets the only two minus points for: 1. the fact that you are not allowed to barbecue near the tents - there is a brick barbecue or a barbecue area which is unfortunately a bit unfortunate near the garbage bins. (You can't have everything!) 2. that the area for tents is rather small and unfortunately lies on the road that leads into the bay. There may be people who are bothered by the traffic. There is not so much traffic during the week but more at the weekend and I have to say it is louder as most people accelerate when driving uphill but...we didn't hear it after 1 day!Automatisk oversat.
- jitka t.September 2010Terrible for camping! A narrow strip between two fences right next to the road, noisy, uneven surface, far too expensive for €11. We planned to spend 4 nights here, after the 1st night we left. Nearby you can find nice private accommodations that are not much more expensive (we had 1 room for 4 people, a large terrace with sea view, use of kitchen - price p.p. 13 €).Automatisk oversat.
