- Sven "Knausrich" B.September 2024PositiveEverythingNegativwe did not noticeVery nice placeThe previous place didn't want our money, so we "invested" it here. We got a pitch with a view of the water here too. The beach was about 50 meters from our pitch and the path to it was only separated by the promenade. And this has it all. Countless restaurants as well as souvenir stores. There are 2... bakeries right in front of the campsite. Basically, you can get everything you need in the immediate vicinity. The sanitary facilities were cleaned regularly and were functional, i.e. visually nothing special. However, what we noticed here on our first visit to the campsite and was also marveled at by other campers was that you get a map with crosses on it showing where you should find free pitches. But this was often not the case. The order of the pitches should be rearranged by the operator. Otherwise, it is a really worthwhile destination. During our visit, we paid the prices quoted for a motorhome including 2 people per night. And remember, motorhome drivers greet each other.Automatisk oversat.
- nina s.June 2024PositiveClean sanitary facilities quick and uncomplicated check in everything you need nearby (beach road with many restaurants)NegativThe first row is not recommended due to the loud music in the restaurant (until 12 noon).topWould come again. I can really recommend it, especially for newbies like me 😊Automatisk oversat.
- Christa G.November 2023PositiveBeautifully laid out place, friendly receptionNegativXLove of animalsEvery campsite has kittens. It would be nice if every campsite owner took a little care of them, especially in the cold season when there are no more campers. The cats can no longer find food. Clubs are prepared to neuter the animals if they know about it. After that, fixed feeding stations should be set up (as is already the case in Spain) so that the cats can lead a life worth living. Please think about this, dear campsite owners. THANK YOUAutomatisk oversat.
- Klemens S.June 2022Positivevery clean sanitary facilities nice pebble beach nice places partly with shade by high pine trees.Negativtoo loud, especially in the evening continuous sound from the neighboring hotel and lido no hot water for washing up Place is a bit overpricedGood place in a good locationBeautiful natural site right by the sea. The waterfront promenade with its busy stallholders detracts from the good overall impression.Automatisk oversat.
- Falko S.May 2021PositiveLarge pitches, good location to the sea and the townNegativnothing noticedGood locationCampsite in a good location to the city and also to the sea, well-kept facility with short distances to shoppingAutomatisk oversat.
- Katrin T.September 2019PositiveIdeal for parties and shoppingNegativToo expensive, no peace and quiet until late at night.Expensive space in the cityThe site is in the middle of town and is therefore not for those seeking peace and quiet. The promenade is directly below the campsite. Lots of stores and restaurants. The place is still very expensive in September. 42 euros a night with a camper van, 2 people and two dogs.Automatisk oversat.
- iris r.May 2019really okay!Very accommodating staff (you were allowed to call after midnight to say you were coming) Very good location! Unfortunately the showers were solar powered and just lukewarm or too cold when there was no sunshine! The promenade was along the sea - really recommendable :) We were in the pre/early season, so everything was very quiet and relaxed!Automatisk oversat.
- Anita H.October 2017PositiveNew, close to the center, close to the sea, friendly and helpful staff, open all year round, well protected in BoraClose to the center and the seaIdeal for campers who want to be out and about in Makarska outside the main season.Automatisk oversat.
- Ralf D.September 2017PositiveClose to the city, sanitary facilities are as good as new and cleanNegativVery loud music from the hotel next door until late at night.Close to the city and very loudWe were very pleased to get a good pitch further down (away from the road). The pitch was perhaps a quarter full. So there was plenty of choice. The sanitary facilities are fairly new and very clean. You can walk into town. On one side of the lower part of the campsite you can still see the old campsite... behind a screen. This is really not very attractive. But the best is yet to come. On the other side there is a hotel and a children's playground. A children's playground wouldn't be a problem, but the inflatable ship and the live band in the hotel make so much noise until around 11.30 pm that we decided to look for another campsite after just one night. Furthermore, someone tried to steal the mountain bike from our neighbor. So be careful.Automatisk oversat.
- Liven H.September 2017PositiveLarge, beautiful pitches. Clean and tidy area and sanitary facilities. Short distance to great beach, restaurants and shops.NegativLittle hot water available. Lack of shower for dogs. Noise from nearby playground until late in the evening. Loud music from neighboring restaurants at night.Great camping near the cityLarge, good pitches, in between trees that provided some good shade from the sun. Very clean sanitary facilities and garbage was frequently emptied everywhere. Could have been better opportunity to shower the dogs, which is necessary after swimming in the sea. Very poor hot water for washing up and showering.... But it is not a place for people who need peace and quiet at night. There was far too much music noise etc. from nearby restaurants. Even until four o'clock one of the nights! After three nights in a row, you get tired from lack of good sleep.Automatisk oversat.
- Richard M.September 2017PositiveShort walk to the beachGreat new place! If everything stays like this, especially the cleanliness, then we can only recommend this place.Automatisk oversat.
- Guido A.August 2017PositiveClose to the beach, beach promenade with stores and restaurants on the doorstepNegativMore often no hot waterCamp Riviera Makarska - August 2017We were in Makarska with a caravan in August. The site is located between the main road and the beach promenade. There are hotels with an entertainment program to the left and right of the campsite. The old (closed) part is also to be modernized and opened for the 2018 season. Between the square and... the sea is the beach promenade, which leads to the center (approx. 10 minutes). There are bars and stalls everywhere. This naturally leads to a little more noise. However, the party zone is about 700 meters to the right of the square and is hardly noticed. The airship at the Hotel Riviera was only 50 meters away from our pitch. You can hear it, but it's not really disturbing. Tennis and mini golf are nearby. The biggest problem was hot water in the early evening. The supply was often used up and the water was only lukewarm. The site was about 50-60 percent full. We didn't see any stores on the site. There is a bakery directly in front of the access road, Kaufland and Lidl on the other side of the village. Smaller stores are within walking distance. The site is mostly in the shade and the pitches are fine in terms of size. Maneuvering with caravans was a bit tight at the bottom due to the construction fence. Water available at every 2nd pitch. Waste water in the toilet block. Several washing places for dishes. I didn't see a washing machine. If you want to walk from the caravan to the water and then enjoy the peace and quiet in the shade in front of the caravan, this is the place for you. The beach is quite full on weekends. The site is not a German colony. There were Swedes, Poles, English, Italians, French, Croats and Slovenians. The site is guarded 24 hours a day! Overall recommendable. We stayed there for 6 nights and will go again if we end up in the area. Bathing shoes are recommended for the beach/sea. No sandy beachAutomatisk oversat.
- Zoltán S.July 2017PositiveNew infrastructure, great attention to cleanliness.NegativIt is noisy at the tent pitches. There could be more shade. Crowded beach.Good campsite, but noisyWe camped here for a few days with 3 small children. The beach is only a few steps away from the tent pitches, but it is very crowded and the water is not as clean as it is in the area. The tent pitches are on the beach side of the campsite where there is a boardwalk. Unfortunately, there is a bar there... with music until 2am, plus there is a bouncy castle boat on the next plot which is also quite noisy all day (it also runs until 11pm). So it's more for partying than a family holiday.Automatisk oversat.
- Roland G.July 2017Positivenear the beach good restaurants on the beach for the evening. Price fits.NegativNothing for dogsSmall but nice.I must say the campsite is very small so with larger Womo I would be careful. The store does not offer meat for the barbecue and also sonnst very dietary and expensive.the reception is very friendly and courteous.the renovated area, however, leaves much to be desired and with a dog you can not go swimming on the beach because there is no swimming area.Automatisk oversat.
- Heinz M.July 2017PositiveDirectly on the beach promenade and pedestrian zone of Makarska.NegativRight next to the hotel. Garbage collection at 6 and lots of shuttle busesBrand new and great locationThe campsite is brand new, as are the sanitary facilities and pitches. Everything is very well maintained. Directly on the beach promenade and access to the beach. Slightly sloping site with flat pitches under pine trees.Automatisk oversat.
