- Wolfgang G.June 2024PositiveProximity to the beach, sanitary facilities, friendliness.NegativNone.Everything was perfect!Cars are parked outside. The caravan is pulled to the pitch by a small tractor. Staff friendly, sanitary facilities were clean. Pebble beach.Automatisk oversat.
- Steff F.May 2024PositiveGreat location with beautiful panoramic path to the city, quiet, well-kept, beautiful campsite, nice beach with some shady spots and cozy bar/restaurantsNegativThe pitches are not very large, but sufficient.Feel-good placeWe immediately felt very comfortable. It is a small, visually very appealing campsite. The sanitary facilities were extremely clean. Quiet and cozy atmosphere on the site. Very friendly staff. Great restaurant with very friendly staff. Simply a feel-good place....we would love to come back 😉Automatisk oversat.
- Sebastian P.July 2021PositiveSuper nice, quiet place. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. But the absolute highlight is the beach and the sea.NegativAt my pitch, the ground was very hard and I really struggled to get the tent pegs in.simply first classA very nice, quiet campsite. There was plenty of shade thanks to the beautiful planting. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The beach and the sea are very easily accessible and clean.Automatisk oversat.
- Gerd W.May 2021PositiveVery friendly, attentive staff. Pleasant welcome from Jana the soul of the place, Helpful staff, clean washrooms and toilets. Nice beach with 2 restaurants. Very good starting point for hiking and MTB. Good bread service.NegativSomewhat narrow access with Womo 8.2 m . But can be done with patience and frequent parking. I only see problems in the high season when all the pitches are occupied.Whitsun vacation with familyWe would visit this site again and again outside of the main holiday season. Provided the pitch we booked is also free.
You have to be careful with the ferry arrivals and departures with long overhangs. But here too the staff are very helpful.Automatisk oversat. - Andreas B.June 2020PositiveGreat location in a quiet bay Very very nice operators and staff No space for huge motorhomesNegativThe tap water smells and tastes a bit funny. We used bottled water for cookingIt couldn't be nicerThe site impresses with its beautiful location and the always friendly staff. The site is very well maintained and the modern sanitary facilities are constantly cleaned. The access road is a little narrow and unsuitable for "battleships".
The small town with supermarket is not far away. (10 min by bike, 30 min on foot)
All in all, the site is highly recommended. We will go there again.Automatisk oversat. - Heiko L.August 2019PositiveClear water, beautiful bay, panoramic path to Porto Azzuro, Jana, the good German soul of the CP, quiet and cozyNegativJellyfish, rocky beach, not for children and teenagers, too expensiveSmall, quiet and expensive campsiteVery nicely situated in the bay, stone beach which I didn't really like, super clear water with unfortunately this year a high proportion of fire jellyfish which clouded the bathing pleasure, diving school on the beach (attention, medical clearance certificate required) The campsite's own restaurant... was very good at fair prices, if you want pizza go next door to the restaurant of CP Mario, which was also ok. Free bike rental, which however makes little sense with the traffic (no bike paths). The extra fridges for food and drinks in the ironing room were good. TVs in the TV room, but the old Italians had omnipotence over the FB and I had to be lucky to be able to follow the Tour de France. The pitches were almost all small, the car had to be parked separately, which was sometimes a bit annoying. The beach bar was unfortunately completely boring, no music, no real atmosphere. Unfortunately, there was nothing for children and teenagers - there was a small playground with a volleyball court and basketball hoop, but it wasn't suitable as a meeting place as there were simply too few children and teenagers on the small campsite. The 30-minute panoramic walk from the beach to Porto Azzurro, the small and very beautiful town with its vibrant alleyways by the harbor, which was always full of beautiful yachts, was brilliant. There was a free bus back to the campsite every hour in the evening. We made beautiful tours to other sandy bays without jellyfish, visited Monte Capanne (brilliant) and also paid a visit to the houses of Napoleon Bonnaparte. All in all a nice and expensive vacation...the day cost me 90 euros on the Arrighi (2 adults and 2 teenagers (14 and 13) who were counted as adults...My daughters wanted to dive, had already done a basic course in Spain last year and were still not allowed to dive in the diving school because they did not have a medical clearance certificate with them. The German owner of the diving school made a relatively arrogant impression.Automatisk oversat.
- Ute H.June 2019PositiveVery nice and well-kept place with a great location.Negativ-dogs on the beach, despite the ban. 🐕Very nice well-kept place.Very nice place, in an ingenious location directly by the sea and optimally close to the small town of Porto Azzuro. A wonderful footpath above the sea leads directly from the beach to the town in 15 minutes. By bike you can reach Porto Azzuro in 5 minutes along the road at the market, supermarket or... just the localities and the harbor. The sanitary facilities are functional and clean. There are also two very good restaurants right on the beach and next to the campsite, both of which we can highly recommend. We found the food super good and the price/performance ratio ok. The pitches in the lower area are rather small and offer just enough space for WW + awning. The car is parked separately and so it was sufficient. The sanitary facilities are functional and were always clean. Unfortunately, it is tolerated that some campers take their dogs to the beach despite the "no dogs" sign.Automatisk oversat.
- Alex P.July 2018PositiveQuiet, right by the sea, bar and restaurantsPerfect campsiteVery great campsite have been going here for several years very friendly and always clean, highly recommended for familiesAutomatisk oversat.
- Isabella H.September 2016PositiveLocation, cleanliness, friendliness at the reception.NegativWould choose a seat next to 28 next time.Really great campsiteWere on the site from ^3.09.-28.09. The size of the pitch was great for our camper, but the lower pitch is not really suitable for large boats. You have to maneuver around. Our pitch no. 28 was actually very nice, but what bothered us was that some people kept thinking they were using our pitch as a... public passageway. Some people come from the beach to use the toilets, and I don't mean the people from the diving center. Apart from that, you can't complain at all. Super friendly and helpful at reception, always clean and modern in the sanitary facilities, Barbarossa restaurant also very good. Market in the restaurant for the morning bread rolls and sometimes to get drinks was fine, otherwise we always took the scooter to Porto Azzurro to Conda. Site right on the beach, panoramic path to the next village very nice. We really liked this campsite in particular and wouldn't have wanted to stay anywhere else. We can only recommend it.Automatisk oversat.
- Lis L.June 2016PositiveClose to Porto Azzuro, directly by the sea, very well maintainedNegativNone foundFor us the best place on ElbaVery well-kept ambience, clean beach and clear sea. Ideal for hiking, walking and swimming. Porto Azzuro is only a short walk away. German is spoken at reception and you receive a friendly welcome.Automatisk oversat.
- Uwe Michael L.May 2014PositiveQuiet, free WLAN, free hot water, CLEANNegativNone foundSimply brilliantA very clean site with absolutely clean sanitary facilities, free WLAN, free hot shower water directly on the beach of Barbarossa Bay. Very friendly and helpful staff where the customer is king. Also ideal for campers with dogs. We felt really comfortable. The site is highly recommended. A big compliment to the operators and the staff, who speak very good German. Thank you for three unforgettable, relaxing weeks. We will be back!!!Automatisk oversat.
- Stefan K.August 2013Positivesmall and fine Close to Porto AzzuroSmall campsite with basic facilities. Quite new and well-kept sanitary building. Beautiful bay and Porto Azzuro within easy walking distance. A bit cramped, we were with a 7m motorhome on a pitch right by the sea, just fine. It was perfect for us as we can do without the facilities of the large campsites: I'd rather walk 10 minutes for an aperitivo in a real town than happy hour at the campsite poolAutomatisk oversat.
- NIVES S.August 2012I STAYED AT CAMPING ARRIGHI FROM 04.08 TO 18.08.2012 (WITH MY 10-YEAR-OLD SON AND MY DOG). I WAS STAYING IN A BUNGALOW WITHOUT A BATHROOM AND WITH AN OUTDOOR KITCHEN. PERFECT!!!! THE VERANDA IS SPACIOUS AND THE VERY CONVENIENT OUTDOOR KITCHEN INCLUDED EVERYTHING YOU NEED AND SOMETHING EXTRA (JUICER GARBAGE... BAGS AND MORE). THE CLEANLINESS OF THE BUNGALOW EXCELLENT BUT THE HIGHLIGHT I MUST SAY IS THE CLEANLINESS OF THE BATHROOMS/SHOWERS. IF YOU NEED ANYTHING, JUST ASK! THE CAMPGROUND IS VERY QUIET, DEFINITELY NOT SUITABLE FOR TOURISTS LOOKING FOR NIGHTLIFE. THE SEA IS GREAT AND THE DIVING STAFF PRESENT ON THE BEACH IS REALLY NICE AND PROFESSIONAL. ONLY FLAW, I REALLY HAVE TO SAY, IS THE MINI MARKET PRACTICALLY LACKING A LOT OF THINGS AND OFTEN CLOSED BECAUSE THE STAFF ALSO RUNS THE RESTAURANT AND (I MUST SAY RIGHTLY) CAN NOT FOLLOW BOTH THE MARKET AND THE RESTAURANT CUSTOMERS AT THE SAME TIME. I WILL DEFINITELY BE GOING BACK.Automatisk oversat.
- Claudia B.June 2011A beautifully located campsite with super friendly and helpful owners. The sanitary facilities are very nice and were always very clean. The pitches in the two lower areas are a bit tight, but as the car is parked separately this is not a problem. As we had our pitch on the upper pitch, we fitted in... very well with our 7.20m long car including awning and sun awning. The entrance and exit, through the two adjoining houses, was an experience with this length, it shouldn't have been much longer. On the pitch itself, the caravans are then brought to the pitch by tractor on request and also pushed to the desired spot with combined forces. We also had no problems with our two large dogs, which are even included in the price. Dogs are not allowed on the beach itself, but as you could get to the water over the rocks on the side, the dogs were happy too. :-) At this time of year it wasn't too crowded and the price was quite reasonable. In addition, there is W-LAN "free" at all places!!! What is also worthwhile is if you book the ferry directly through the campsite, then you get part of the ferry costs refunded at certain travel times.Automatisk oversat.
- Anke H.May 2011PositiveProximity to Porto AzzurroNegativSomewhat small pitchesbeautifully situatedBeautifully situated place, nice and quiet in the low season, ideal place for diving trips, we will be happy to come back.Automatisk oversat.
- Wolfgang K.September 2010Very well maintained, nice operator, right by the sea, 2 restaurants and small store right next to the site, quiet locationAutomatisk oversat.
- Markus S.July 2010Friendly campsite, the pitches are rather "Italy-sized", i.e. generally rather small. However, the fact that the cars are parked separately makes it bearable. Depending on the length of the car and trailer, entering the campsite is a challenge that should not be underestimated. The free W-Lan access... was practical. The sanitary facilities (2 buildings) are cleaned several times and are functionally furnished. The campsite also has a few bungalows, and there is a recommended diving school on the beach. The beach consists of fine gravel, partly with sand and partly with rocks on the sides. Due to the size of the campsite, about 100 pitches, it is easy to find your way around. The harbor of Porto Azzuro can be reached on foot over the hilltop in about 10 minutes.Automatisk oversat.
- albert t.June 2010Very nice reception and the whole campsite is kept very clean. Booking a ferry is no problem. Super sanitary facilities that were always kept clean (also clean guests)Automatisk oversat.
