"Fantastic location, but ... - We had already been to the site three years ago with our motorhome and were aware of the morbid state of the infrastructure on the site. Over the past three years, everything has got a little worse. However, the natural surroundings and the close proximity to the lagoon make up for a lot. Everything would have been fine if the staff hadn't started clearing up for the winter three weeks before the end of the season. The pool was dismantled, the kiosk was closed, there were no more bread rolls available in the morning and only 4 of the toilets (out of around 20 available) were still open. On Sunday lunchtime, a wild-eyed worker drove over the entire site with a ride-on mower and cut the grass. In the end, the impression was created as if they wanted to scare the campers off the site, which many visitors did. Dear operator team, that's not how it works. The accommodation costs are really no bargain, at least a minimum of service must be offered. You obviously haven't understood that. But maybe you will. The consequence for us: this was our last stay on what was actually a paradise island.

"Disturbing lighting, mosquitoes, loud construction work - Unfortunately, we found a campsite, but there were only bright lights and lots of biting midges. The operators played loud music every night and hammered somewhere during the day. The children couldn't sleep. Neither could they swim, as the beach was made of soggy mud. The large motorhomes also obstructed every meadow. We didn't know how we were supposed to camp there. We left early disappointed. The owners don't care where everyone pitches, the main thing is that the money is right? We will never come back.

"CP in a picturesque location with peace and lots of nature - Very friendly German-speaking operators who took over the campsite in 2022. Peace and lots of nature. Excellent location between Aquileia and Grado, which are easily accessible by bike (beautiful cycle paths). One can only wish the new operators that they remedy the major shortcomings as quickly as possible: sanitary facilities dirty, outdated and partly broken; neglected permanent camper ghettos that are more reminiscent of slums than campsites. I wish the new operators all the best and, above all, every success.

"Oasis of comfort - Especially fine campsite for people with dogs Dogs - walking island is fine Need for peace and quiet - hardly any screaming kids Looking for relaxation - there's really nothing going on and the desire for real relaxation. Manager super friendly, his wife runs the bar from 8-13 and 16-19 and the mini store where you can find everything you need. Small quantities, no selection, but simply everything you could need. Evening walk 10 minutes to da Piero = very nice pizzeria & restaurant. There are dozens of other places to eat within a few kilometers by bike and car. Pool small but clean and fine at low tide. Swimming at high tide in the lagoon without waves and very warm water.

"Clean cheap.quiet - Very quiet and clean place. We were there with a dog and he was not allowed to swim on the beach, but it didn't matter because even I wouldn't swim there

The campsite “Isola del Paradiso” is an island located in the middle of the Grado Lagoon, peerless thanks to its surrounding natural view. As the name “Paradiso” (“Paradise”) suggests, our campsite is an uncontaminated location, suitable for people in search …of peace, relaxation, hospitality and that want to get in touch with nature. This little natural oasis, mostly covered by grassy land and thick vegetation, is perfect to reestablish the pleasure of the real camper, who doesn' t need too many splendors. A small private street allows to reach the island, which is only 5 km far from the beautiful city of Grado and 4 km from the famous archaeological site of Aquileia. Both of the locations can be reached by bike, thanks to the cycling lane “Grado-Palmanova”.

BY CAR: Exit from the highway A4 in Palmanova and proceed to Grado. Go through Aquileia and after 4 km you will find a sign indicating Grado. The private street is on the right side, exactly near the restaurant “Da …Piero”. BY PLANE: Take the bus n° 26 direction Grado from the airport Trieste/Ronchi dei Legionari and get off in 'Belvedere'. After about 1000m on foot you will reach the campsite. BY TRAIN: Take a bus direct to Grado from the train station Cervignano-Aquileia-Grado and get off in 'Belvedere'. After about 1000m on foot you will reach the campsite.
