"One of the best - We camped in Europe for three months and this was one of the best campgrounds we stayed in. One of the big advantages of having a kitchen is that it allows you to meet and and converse with other travellers.

"Venice Citypass! - The mobile home and sanitary facilities were average and of course very busy - just like Venice. But the campsite stands out for its quieter location outside the hustle and bustle of Venice with excellent bus connections and its long season (in October it is no longer completely overcrowded!). We bought the 24-hour ticket at reception and made full use of it, including a trip through the lagoon to Burano (highly recommended!). You MUST experience Venice from the water! At the end of the tour, we continued on foot (visiting lots of wine bars and enjoying delicious cicchetti) and then took the bus back for a few euros. To relax, it's worth taking a bike ride along the Brenda for ice cream or wine tapping (vino sfuso) in one of the nearest towns.

"Place ideally located wg Venice, but mosquitoes without end!!!! - I find the place in HS very expensive. It is clean and quiet. But there are countless mosquitoes and small biting creatures. In addition, the small swimming pool costs 3 euros (per person)!!! That's not fair for the price.

"holiday - it is a good place to stay for only couple of days. nice and with fine atmosphere. good link with Venice (by bus). as for sanitary a lot of huge spiders....

"Close to Venice - Ideal place to visit Venice. In half an hour and for 3€ with the public bus in Venice. Bus stop in front of the CP. The staff are very friendly and happy to provide information on places of interest. There is space for caravans, camper vans or tents on both sides along an asphalted path. There are no pitches. In rainy weather you have to be careful where you pitch. Where there is no grass, it quickly becomes very muddy. But that is also the only disadvantage of the site. You can get the essentials in the mini store and the sanitary facilities are not luxurious but acceptable.

Profil

Camping Serenissima is located on the agricultural mainland on the Brenta River, about level with Venice. This quiet campsite is particularly popular with campers who want to visit Venice (bus stop right in front of the campsite) and/or Padua from …here. In terms of amenities, Serenissima is a relatively sober campsite and most guests only stay here for a few days. Quiet and green The campsite, with its abundance of greenery and deciduous trees, is an oasis of calm, a wonderful place to relax after a visit to often hectic Venice. The welcome is friendly and the atmosphere cosy. The pitches are spacious, well-maintained and mostly shaded. You feel as if you are camping in a beautiful, green garden. The campsite also has simple mobile homes and bungalows for rent, suitable for up to four people. New acquisition The swimming pool at the campsite is brand new and a refreshing attraction after a summer visit to Venice. And speaking of cooling off, you'll find a bar at reception for an ice cream, a beer, something fresh or a delicious cappuccino. There is also a simple restaurant and a small camping shop for essential groceries. Sanitary facilities The sanitary facilities are not hypermodern, but definitely clean and tidy. A must! The people camping here are mainly interested in Venice. The bus stops twice an hour in front of the campsite and takes you to Piazzale Roma in 20 minutes. From here you are right in the old town of Venice, or you can board the vaporetto, the boat that takes you across the canals.
