In our opinion, the pitches for caravans/motorhomes are not large. But there is plenty of space for tents. And especially in the pine forest. It brings back memories of GDR campsites where tents stood close together. It wasn't... like that now. The flow of tourists was overwhelming.
You don't know if the permanent camping section is still part of the campsite.
The sanitary facilities are very spartan but clean. In the showers a few more hooks and splash guards or shelves would not be bad.

We visited the site for a visit to Sanssouci Palace for 4 days in June 2019 with the caravan. The site is in the middle of a pine forest. There are sunny and shady pitches. The operators are very friendly and helpful. The site is clean and pleasantly... quiet without a lot of shki miki. The sanitary facilities are not the most modern, but they are always clean. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said of the outside flushing toilets. These were not even cleaned during our 4-day stay. It's a shame, because that really detracts from the good impression. If you want, you can buy delicious fish smoked directly from the smoke by the owner himself. All in all, we felt very comfortable and would love to come back.Automatisk oversat.

We had plenty of space and lots of peace and quiet. The operators are extremely friendly and courteous. The sanitary facilities are not luxurious and not new, but they are clean. Fresh fish is smoked daily, which we also tried.... Highly recommended. Tips for Potsdam and the surrounding area are available in the reception from the helpful operators. The bus to Potsdam is not far from the campsite and can be used free of charge with the visitor's tax paid and the guest card issued. Bread rolls are also available in the morning. All in all, highly recommended if you want to explore the surrounding area at a good price-performance ratio and can do without frills.Automatisk oversat.

Manageable occupancy despite high season. Very nice atmosphere on the pitch for caravans due to the light shining through the trees standing apart. The operator smokes trout and eel himself. They were a real treat. In the kiosk you can get the necessary things, including fresh vegetables... from their own production from time to time. Very quiet, not far from the lake and the bathing area. The bathing area is small but cozy. Meadow, accessible by bike. Pleasant sandy lake bed when you go in. You can swim with the ducks. On the lakeshore there are three separate restaurants with a garden restaurant and lake view. In Ferch, which can be reached quickly by bike, there is a special kind of snack bar. Nothing has changed here in the last 25 years. Pot of coffee €1, beer one fuffzsch (€1.50), piece of sponge cake fuffzsch (€0.50). Definitely go there. Also has a boat rental. Great area. Take a leisurely 2-hour bike ride around the lake and cross over in Caputh on the little pine boat. The tent meadow was quiet, semi-shady and not as crowded as on other sites in the high season. Super friendly operators, who even checked again after a thunderstorm to make sure everything was OK - where else can you find that?
