Mostly permanent campers, but we still got a pitch over the holidays. Two small points of criticism: There are two wash houses. Sometimes one was open, sometimes the other, sometimes both, it was not clear... what the rules were. And "individual washing cubicles", which are separated by shower curtains, are not really up to date. Especially as there are naturally no hooks on shower curtains to hang anything up. Simple partition walls like in the small wash house and everything is perfect.Automatisk oversat.

The operators made every effort to ensure that every guest felt comfortable on this campsite. True to the motto: nothing is impossible!
The market on Friday evening, where regional products were offered, as well as home-cooked meals, was a great enrichment for the campers and was well received.

In the dishwashing room there are extra towels hanging over bars for cleaning after washing up, which was also used by everyone. In the WC (ladies) fresh flowers and everything nicely done. Everyone at reception is very, very friendly and always... ready to help.
This place has such a personal touch, we were just thrilled, without wellness and all the other bells and whistles that many guests want today. There is an announcement, "Football today at ....", for example.
There is a small weekly market, a baker comes every day (these are still real bread rolls and cakes), sooo delicious, then you can buy trout, and all this is of course posted on the notice board, is also announced again. And the absolute best, the Lädele!!! Everything is based on trust, we were totally thrilled!!!! Great place!!!!!!!

Directly... next to it is a small nature trail. Simply beautiful and lovingly designed.
The site is clean and the sanitary facilities are well maintained.
Great lake with swimming facilities.
Unfortunately, the restaurant has fallen off considerably since the change of ownership. You can tell that the staff have no catering experience. Anyone who has ever waited over 2 hours for their food with children will understand what is meant. It can happen, but then I expect at least an apology.
Nevertheless, very, very, very recommendable. Central location for excursions in all directions.NegativWe did not discover any that would have affected our vacation.Idyllic campsite in a quiet locationWe were very happy with our choice of campsite from arrival to departure. The Wagner family have their site well under control, everything is well organized and if you ever need help, there is always someone on hand to help. The campsite is run with a lot of heart and you can tell. Every Friday, a small... market is set up with small trolleys selling fresh fruit, vegetables, cheese, sausages, baked goods and regional products. Every morning the bakery cart is there to provide breakfast, bread rolls can be pre-ordered via WhatsApp and are very tasty! There is also an Italian restaurant on the premises where you can eat and drink well at moderate prices. The boss is direct and honest, which may come across as a bit gruff, but he's actually a really nice guy. The toilets and washrooms were always clean and the facilities were always in order. The pitches are large enough, electricity and water nearby, and some are shady. WLAN is spread across the site with various converters, it worked well on our pitch. The lake has a kind of fenced-in swimming pool with a separate zone for non-swimmers, the water is very clean. There is a petting zoo for the little ones with rabbits and goats and lovingly designed play facilities. Next to the campsite there is a beautifully prepared hiking trail of about 3 km with all kinds of cute hearts. A real recommendation from us!Automatisk oversat.

Reliable service from the campsite operators: well-maintained facilities, service organized on site (market day, greengrocer, bread roll service), water and electricity in the immediate vicinity, pitches of different sizes (can be selected depending on the size of... the vehicle/budget), everything quite relaxed and quiet even in high season and when fully booked. They were relaxing and peaceful days for us and our dog. The owners are very friendly and always available for a chat. In addition, on Saturday there was the great town festival with delicacies, there was something for everyone. You can tell that the owners... care about the well-being and entertainment of their guests. The place is lovingly designed, very clean and well-kept. The "Herzrunde" walk through the adjacent woods and meadows is highly recommended and very inspiring. The sanitary facilities are clean, there are plenty of places to wash up and you can also order... bread rolls. There is also a restaurant and a shop where you can buy milk, butter, eggs and honey, Tues. and Thurs. evenings there is also a small market where you can buy sausage, cheese, butter, curd cheese, bread, cakes and rolls. The best way to get there with a caravan is via Beuren, as our satnav directed us along narrow roads from NW, fortunately there is little traffic. The pitches come in different sizes, with small price differences. The site... is dominated by permanent campers, but there are still plenty of free pitches. The sanitary facilities are good and are cleaned daily. Very friendly operators and staff. The lake is a moor bathing lake, with shallow access to the water and relatively warm. Ideal for children. From the campsite you can go on beautiful bike tours (towards Leutkirch north rather flat, towards the south Isny, Wangen rather hilly) and hikes (Taufachmoos a dream) and the Allgäu is close by. If the weather is bad, there are many small, beautiful Allgäu towns to visit, of which Wangen stands out. Bread roll service is available every day, a fruit and vegetable van often comes by and the "S Lädele" and "S tädele" are simply friendly and practical. The 5 stars are there because the place is simply sympathetic and relaxing, there are places with more elaborate sanitary buildings, but the place is worth 5 stars in its own way. Natalie C.May 2018Very nice and understanding operatorsWe (three families with 2 motorhomes and 1 tent) had booked 3 days over Whitsun. Even when booking, I have to say that the communication was very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, one family (the one with the tent) and my 2 toddlers (17 months and 5 months) fell ill shortly beforehand. Also... the weather forecast was very bad with a lot of rain, which is why I had asked 2 days before arrival if we could cancel the booking free of charge. Within 2 hours, the campsite got back to us with a very nice and understanding e-mail and allowed us to cancel free of charge at such short notice. We will definitely book our next vacation there again and hope to be able to take advantage of it. Bread roll service from 7am, well-maintained sanitary facilities and the unique price-performance ratio, a standard... price all year round, make this place absolutely recommendable even with children, as the lake is also very warm and has a long shallow access.
