We liked the tent terraces, which are used from September onwards. The campsite is in a good location and the old town of Freiburg is within easy walking distance. It is surrounded by greenery and yet you can be in the center of Freiburg in 5 minutes by bike. Ideal starting point for sightseeing. The site is small, informal and very quiet. Sanitary facilities are okay in terms of equipment and cleanliness. Staff super friendly. A great place for couples. Streetcar also close by to get... to the surrounding area. Restaurant next door with good food, or just to have a wine in the evening. Lunch break is no longer up to date in our eyes, especially on such a site. Full.Overcrowded place with a very good location.We were able to park our caravan for one night on the overcrowded campsite. It felt like every little space was still filled with travelers, even right in front of the children's playground. The staff didn't seem directly unfriendly, but that was because they were always caught when it became apparent... that a little more friendliness would be appropriate. We stood downstairs opposite the very nice and well-kept sanitary building. Everything is wonderfully separate, good washing-up area etc. It is very busy during the day, as there is no longer a small house or toilet in the upper, actual campsite area. So you always have to go downstairs from upstairs with everything and because of everything. THERE IS NO TOILET PAPER!!! Without a toilet in the Womo/caravan possibly difficult with children. The upper area was very full and tightly packed with mostly campervans on a string of pearls. Well shaded under the many trees. The tents even further out and with very little shade. For a two-night stay to explore Freiburg and the surrounding area, a great place. Especially downstairs. For a longer stay, where you want to stay on the site to relax, difficult to imagine. The short queue at check-in at 3pm was dealt with quickly and efficiently. A team member showed us around the site, helped us maneuver the caravan and even helped us align it - very helpful on the allocated pitch. The flexibility... in extending the stay when the pitch was full was also remarkable. It was simply made possible without any fuss - respect. The team is not only very friendly, but also committed and very competent with all our questions and problems. The battery of our old T5 was flat, within 10 minutes we had a quick starter. A perfect environment for campers with... dogs. Sanitary facilities very clean, when were they cleaned, no matter what time, despite the fact that the site was fully booked. In the lower part of the site, opposite the sanitary facilities, there are several camper pitches. A steep driveway leads to the upper part of the site. The small to very small pitches are mostly located under dense old trees and... some of them are borderline steep. Water and waste water are centrally located in each row. The sanitary facilities are functional and were very clean even when fully occupied at the end of September. The site management is friendly, helpful and endeavors to offer all arriving guests a pitch. The proximity to the attractive old town makes it ideal for a stopover. The site is clean, tidy and the team takes great care of the guests. We stayed there for 3 nights with our motorhome and were right in front of the reception. So we experienced the hustle and bustle there live. The staff are courteous and try to... give everyone a pitch, even when it's late and quite full. The site itself is not big, but you can go on beautiful hikes and bike tours from here. It's about 8 minutes by bike to Heidelberg. The sanitary facilities are clean and tidy. After we had arrived "on the off-chance", it became clear to me: the site is filled to capacity. At first, you are grateful to get a tiny pitch without a seat. After a sleepless night with a meter distance to the snoring neighbor, it's no longer like that, but a cheek. As we couldn't make it during the opening hours, we gave them a call. At first the machine only answered, but we were called back very quickly and they waited for us to arrive. A very polite team of 3 people welcomed us and brought... us safely with our caravan to our pitch. The site in general is very clean. They make every effort to make it as nice as possible for their guests. The sanitary facilities were warm and clean. The only thing is that you should bring your own toilet paper. There is also emergency toilet paper in the toilet. Showering costs nothing extra and the electricity is also quite cheap. The nearest bakery and Freiburg city center are just a short walk away. The site is also great for small children because of the quiet times at night and the enclosed area. There is also a small "playground". Price/performance is right! We would love to come back!
