- Bert P.July 2023PositiveClose to Lake Garda, shade, quiet, sanitary buildingNegativVirtually nonePerfect campingI don't understand the negative reviews.
Everything is fine here. The fact that weeds are growing somewhere or a rhododendron is obstructing the driveway is irrelevant. Real campers can live with that.
There is always someone cleaning the sanitary building.
This site is recommended.Automatisk oversat. - Václav M.April 2023PositiveLocation cleanliness size of stalls pool playgroundNegativnothingbeautiful campsite right on the lakebeautiful campsite right by the lake, boardwalk right around the campsite fence. campsite clean, equipped. swimming pool, playgroundAutomatisk oversat.
- Jörg R.August 2022PositiveShort way to the lakeNegativVery uncleanFull and dirtyStayed here for three nights on our way to the Adriatic. The new sanitary building is fine. The craftsmen could have delivered a little more quality. There are no words for the old sanitary building. Structurally wretched condition. Many things defective. Cleanliness underground. Not a recommendable place. Especially for the price.Automatisk oversat.
- Gaby W.September 2019PositiveThere is noNegativThe whole place is simply disgusting and I would advise anyone against it.The first and last time on this courseWe have never experienced anything like it. Sanitary rental cabin so dirty simply disgusting. This mess with the dogs: dog shit and piss everywhere that it stinks all over the place. So who does not have a dog never on this place. The staff so unfriendly overall a total disaster.Automatisk oversat.
- Gisela T.August 2019PositiveIdeal for party peopleNegativQuiet - does not correspond to the facts. Staff unfriendly Daily noise from lawnmowerNot what it promisesWere there for the first and last time. Dirty rental bathrooms, poor food and service, loud music from 3 campsites at the same time until midnight, no Robidog bags and dog shower.Automatisk oversat.
- Axel H.March 2019PositiveLocation on the lake, clean and friendly, not too big. Rental accommodation of various types and sizes available, but not too dominant.nice place, not too busyWe were there several times at Easter. The place is not too big, now has direct access to the lake and also offers an open swimming pool (not heated) during this time. The staff are friendly, the restaurant is fine and you can even book half board. The pitches are fine, the sanitary facilities clean. There is a small playground, a football pitch and other play equipment. Our dog loves to bathe in the stream behind the site.Automatisk oversat.
- Erwin H.June 2018PositiveClose to the lake or poolNegativNoneIdeal Pieve is now also part of Baia VerdeWe've been staying there for two weeks every summer since 2010. Directly on the lake, and 200 meters further up the pool for young and old. Super sanitary facilities, new in the lower area in 2019.Automatisk oversat.
- Kurt D.July 2017PositiveClean, child and dog friendlyNegativPerhaps not a large selection in the store, too few washing machines and dryersNice campground with direct access to the lake. Child and dog friendly.Clean, child and dog friendly campground directly connected to the lake. Very nice swimming pool. Supply in store is a bit limited in my opinion.Automatisk oversat.
- familie s.May 2017Positivelocation in relation to lake gardaNegativinstitution staff campingoutrageous!- The pool was very cold in May while it was said in advance that it would be warm. A bummer for the children. - New owner: On arrival the people at the reception were very friendly. When we had to go home earlier due to force majeure, we had to pay an extra week and a half of standing fees (reservation).... By way of force they kept our identity papers with them until we had paid. So a (money) wolf in sheep's clothing! I understand that you are running a business, but putting your foot down in a force majeure situation does not feel right. - Water of the Swimming pool and whirlpool was cold in May, while they told us it would be warm. - New owner: Due to circumstances beyond our control, we had to leave the camp site earlier. The owner let us pay everthing (kept our ID's until we paid) because of a reservation. I understand that she has to run a company but the attitude was terrible in our situation.Automatisk oversat.
- Anna F.August 2016PositiveNear the seaNegativOld dirty small pitchesVery bad experienceI only stayed there one day .... Deceived by the reviews ! Very small pitches and driveways x access to them very narrow ! Very old and dirty bathrooms ! Small and crowded beach ... High prices ! Only advantage : close to the sea! Nn I will never go back there again . Who knows if this review will be published ! It is the second one I wrote without ever seeing it published .Automatisk oversat.
- Wolfgang G.September 2015PositiveBeautiful large pitches with electricity, water and drainage connections.NegativNot directly on the lake and sanitary area inadequate in detail. In the hinterland of Lake Garda.approx. 400 m from Lake Garda. The entrance is somewhat hidden. Large, level pitches with electricity, water and drainage connections. Inviting entrance to the sanitary area. However, most of the small bathrooms are clearly too small for a shower with curtain (!), toilet and washbasin. In the additional... showers, the floors were tiled without a slope. This meant that the area in front of the shower was approx. 2 cm under water. There were no shelves or hooks. Too bad... Not a masterpiece in detail and difficult to keep clean. The pool is nice but very small. From the whirlpool on the sanitary roof you have a beautiful view of the surrounding area. There is a mini market on the pitch. We found the nearest supermarket (Lidl) about 3 km away. In Sept. we paid 19,20 € with Acsi for 2 persons incl. tourist tax.Automatisk oversat.
- Tilo R.August 2015PositiveLarge pitches.NegativOld sanitary facilities, electricity problem, pitches opposite mobile homes unkempt, restaurant not recommended, far too expensive.Totally disappointing, not recommended.First of all, the good news: the pitches are very large. However, even the access road is difficult, as the rhododendron bushes overgrow the access roads to the paths. After weeks of drought, watering would be a good idea so that it doesn't get so dusty and some greenery, apart from weeds, appears on... the pitches again. The sanitary facilities are relatively clean, but totally outdated. Shower curtains and some of the outhouses/standing toilets are no longer up to date and make me feel disgusted. There are no storage facilities or hooks at the washbasins. And why do I have to shave in the morning in the semi-dark? The cleanliness of the sinks leaves a lot to be desired. Why does pasta stick to the same place for three days? The camping pitch has a sample of electricity. Neither our fridge in the camper van nor our cool box cooled properly (approx. 20°C). Enquiries with several other campers confirmed this (comment from one camper: I'm running out of butter). According to the campsite management, you have to put up with this at high temperatures. Absolutely unacceptable. I'm not an electrician, but there are probably too many consumers on one line here (I'm referring here to the considerable number of mobile homes with air conditioning). I have never experienced such problems at the same temperatures. It seems that the pitches and sanitary facilities are being neglected in favor of the mobile homes. Why are only the bushes near the mobile homes being cut? There is no direct path to the lake. The path is further than the 300 to 400 meters indicated. In my opinion, the site is totally overrated. I can't understand the positive reviews. Compared with other campsites, I also think the 4-star category is too high. What's more, the site is very expensive. I can only advise traditional campers traveling in the high season against it.Automatisk oversat.
- Helga S.June 2015PositiveWell-maintained and large pitches, whirlpool on the roof terrace of the sanitary buildingNegativnot located at the lake, restaurantYou can feel at home hereYou can't get lost on the campsite, although there are no signs. It is not large and clearly laid out. The pitches are also ideal for large caravans or motorhomes. They are flat and well maintained. The sanitary facilities are clean but somewhat confusing. For example, the sinks are located behind the... building and can be reached either via the showers or via a small path past the building, and there is also a small whirlpool on the roof terrace, from which you have a great panoramic view of the site and the surrounding area. The swimming pool is also quite nice. We were disappointed with the restaurant. Both dishes we ordered were bland and lovelessly prepared. Unfortunately the campsite is not close to the lake. It was too much for us to walk the distance to the lake with deckchairs and swimming gear.Automatisk oversat.
- Barbara S.May 2015PositiveGreat swimming pool, pleasant whirlpool, clean facilities, not so huge CP, great restaurant.NegativWLAN, since there are no parking space boundaries, guests are constantly walking over their own parking space towards the swimming pool and sanitary building! That still needs to be improved!Because our daughter had her baby early, we had to leave after a few days. That was ok, as we had already told them when we arrived. We really liked the campsite and I can only agree with all the other reviews. Unfortunately, there was one annoying point for us: you can only buy internet by the hour,... not by the day or week. So I took the biggest package, 10 hours for €10. You always have to log out immediately, then it's fine. However, I then paid for our stay in the afternoon, i.e. another night, and also said that we would probably be driving home in the evening. Barely 10 minutes later, I wanted to get in touch with my daughter again via whatsapp. But it no longer worked. Although I still had over 4 hours left, when I logged in it said: home today! Helloooo? I paid for 10 hours and could have actually stayed until the next day..... Even if I give the rest of the time to my neighbor, that must be ok. It's paid for. When I asked, there was no apology, just: "It's probably already expired." So how does my cell phone know that we're going home today? I don't think that's ok at all! So unfortunately I have to say: despite the great CP, I won't be coming back!Automatisk oversat.
- Elmar R.September 2014PositiveNewer facility Clean Quiet Nice poolSimply topWe were at this campsite at the end of September. You can see that it has a good reputation from the fact that the site was relatively full at that time. Very clean, nice pool, large pitches. Modern sanitary facilities. Highly recommended.Automatisk oversat.
- Heike R.July 2014PositivePools nice but unheatedNegativUncleanliness, lack of interest in customers, too little on offer for children, long walk to the lake,To each his own tasteWe stayed in a mobile home in Manerba in the summer of 2014. On arrival we were assigned the mobile home, location exactly at the disposal station of the mobile homes, bad smell, noise, after complaining we were shown another mobile home, or 5 different ones, in each of the mobile homes shown was mold... in the sanitary facilities and sometimes very unclean, the last one we then took because there was no other, 2 weeks we had booked, but after 1 week we left and got a week refunded by the organizer. (speaks for itself)Very disappointing the long way around Lake Garda, the pools were not heated, little gastronomy on the site, very little - no offers for entertainment even for children, sometimes very unfriendly staff, price-performance not good, all in all, not again!Automatisk oversat.
- Lars I.September 2013We stayed at this site for 4 nights in September and were very satisfied. The pitches are big enough and equipped with everything you need. The sanitary facilities are clean and the pool area is great for swimming. It is difficult to explore the surrounding area without a bike/car/moped... The nearest bus stop is some distance away and the timetables are not necessarily clear. We would love to come back.Automatisk oversat.

- A. L.August 2012Beautiful, well-kept site with lots of flowering oleander bushes. Pitches with electricity/water/waste water - also suitable for large caravans (access also OK, the last bend to the pitch is a bit tight, but it works). Little shade because the trees are still too small (but they are watered, so the chances... are good! ;-) Small, clean pool area, great for children (and for adults to cool off). Right by the pool, small store with the essentials, bar and pizzeria (pizza is really good!). Sanitary area visually appealing, sufficient overall size - mostly clean (of course, depending on the previous user, you have to wonder sometimes...) However, there is a lack of shelves and towel hooks in the washbasin area. The distance to the lake is OK (10-15 min walk). The beach is not a dream, but you can go for a good walk by the lake, swimming is also possible (don't forget your bathing shoes!!). July + August every evening children's disco from 19h30 to 20h00 (except Saturday), live music twice a week until 23h00 - 23h30. You can hear it everywhere because the square is not big. And when it's quiet on the square, you can hear the music from one or more other places... We would go there again.Automatisk oversat.
- Volker K.July 2012Camping Baia Verde is a very special place, unfortunately not directly on the water, the beach about 400m away is also not the most beautiful. If you can, you should go to the beach in Gardiola (5 minutes by car) but now to the campsite. At the entrance a feast for the eyes oleander and olive trees.... The pitches are very good and level, absolutely dry even after the worst storms, and are sufficient at around 90 square meters. The pitches with bathrooms for rent are unfortunately a bit cramped, so you have to know your pitch dimensions, but they are also very clean. The pool area is in excellent condition and is cleaned every night. The pool on the roof offers a wonderful view over the bay and the surrounding area. The water here is unfortunately a bit neglected, it should also be closed for children under 12 years so that you can also find some peace and quiet there. In the main tourist season, the site is mainly visited by Dutch people with children. You won't find any peace and quiet, but it's not too bad if you can go before or after the vacations. The sanitary facilities offer everything you need but should be cleaned more often in the main season. The ladies who do this do their best, very thorough and clean but there are always campers who don't care and can't behave, how embarrassing! The access roads are sufficient and if you don't keep to walking speed they are also a bit dusty. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant on site has good food at reasonable prices except beer. We also looked at some places in the area, some were right on the water, but none of them could keep up. Baia Verde is just a special place - we would stay there again at any timeAutomatisk oversat.
