The water temperature cannot be adjusted. The pitches are a little small and can be difficult for larger motorhomes or caravans. Sunday arrived quiet! Monday to Friday construction noise and when it was quiet the lawn was mowed, which was apparently not possible before our arrival. 20 cm high and full of goose droppings . Showers can not be temperature controlled, only hot showers! With the... two (2 Wc for over 100 places) the door opens inwards, you have to thread yourself properly to close the door from the inside, beach club closed! Actually a nice place when it is dry (otherwise slippery and muddy) and nice staff.

The site is on grass, there is a restaurant, the sanitary facilities can be reached via stairs and are far too small for the size of the site. Only 3 toilets... for men/women, 4 metal washbasins, no individual wash cubicles. The showers have no possibility to adjust the water temperature, there is only standard hot water from a fixed shower head. The waterless urinals stink. An imposition when the place is full. WLan extremely expensive and bad (2,50€ for 1 hour, 5,-€ for 1 day). Electricity regularly fails when the pitch is well occupied. The pitches are quite small and not exactly separated, the first row to the river has the public cycle path in front of it, separated by barriers. When the weather is nice, there are often many bathers on the site. The prices are not appropriate for the poor condition of the site. We won't be coming back because of the poor sanitary facilitiesAutomatisk oversat.

It was just bad luck.You feel at home here.Always nice to be on the Lahn. Great place with beautiful pitches right on the water. Clean sanitary facilities with underfloor heating. Campfires are possible on the pitch and there are also a few water activities on site. Not a place for a quiet and relaxing vacation.Nice location but noisy and restless guestsA few years ago, this campsite was one of our favorites. A relaxing vacation was guaranteed. Now things have changed. The guests are very restless, often only coming for one or two nights. Many arrive with several dogs that bark at each other. Some representatives think they are throwing a party here.... Too bad, we used to feel really comfortable here. The staff are very friendly, but the guests bring the unrest with them. I have the impression that some are not looking for relaxation but prefer a group meeting. At least every second guest also brings their pets. For us, camping means peace and quiet and being close to nature, but everyone has different expectations.Automatisk oversat.

Insufficient for a place of this size and absolutely unacceptable in times of Corona!A week of camping on the LahnWe stayed at the campsite for a week. The site has a beautiful location right on the Lahn! Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are not good! The showers are either too hot or too cold - the water temperature cannot be regulated! The sanitary building makes a good impression at first glance, but at... second glance you can see that some joints have black mold stains! The additional toilet container should actually be closed, as there are neither proper soap dispensers nor disinfectants! The path on the pitch actually only consists of potholes. For children there is only a large sandy area without any play equipment, which was also partially closed to camping guests due to events. Unfortunately, the operator is not open to criticism and comes across as rather arrogant. Actually a nice place, but it lacks a lot of love!Automatisk oversat.

Friendly welcome at reception with brief instructions if necessary. Access a little narrow when turning into the road to the site.
The pitches are all on grass and in good condition. All pitches have electricity and water connections either... directly or nearby.
The sanitary area doesn't look so good from the outside (container facility) but has been completely renovated inside. Somewhat small when fully occupied but implemented in accordance with Corona. Bread roll service right next to reception.
A small drawback is that there is a public footpath and cycle path between the pitch and the Lahn. Due to the location directly on the Lahn and on the cycle path, you could easily use the possible leisure activities (canoeing, cycling, swimming, standup paddling). The center of Bad Ems can also be reached on foot in about 20 minutes.
But all this... has a downside, namely the sanitary facilities. These are absolutely inadequate for a site of this size. They are also poorly ventilated and that in times of Corona. You felt as if you were in a steam sauna and not just under the shower you were using. In addition, the water output of the automatic taps was so short that it was not enough to wash your hands properly.Automatisk oversat.

Beautiful location directly on the Lahn, ideal for kayaking and fishing!
The pitches in the first row, unfortunately a cycle path runs through the site and it is impossible to keep people away!
But nevertheless we had a relaxed week and great weather! 😎👍

A great quiet place in a very nice location. Great bike tour along the Lahn to Lahnstein and Koblenz. Sitting lazily by the Lahn and watching the SUPs. Eating a very tasty burger at the beach bar. There are many different ways to relax. We were also able to stay until 5pm on the day of departure without any problems and without paying extra.Automatisk oversat.

Newly made. TOP supply column on every pitch with electricity, supply and waste water. A distinction is made between comfort and Lahn pitches. Some of the Lahn pitches were in two rows. The pitches there HJ inter are quite narrow. In the long term, the owner wants to turn... them into XL pitches, so two become one. A very good idea. You can feel the spirit of the founders. We felt very comfortable. You could also show somewhere that Happy Campers get a 15% discount. The sanitary facilities are modern and functional, some with good ideas for the environment. A second sanitary building is being planned soon. That's a good thing. It can get a bit cramped when the campsite is full. We would love to come again and wish you every success. Bad Ems is only 2 kilometers along the Lahn. Very suitable for water activities such as paddling and rowing, but also swimming directly in the river. Great catering on the site with a beach for playing volleyball and much more. Very friendly team. Sanitary facilities in very good, very clean condition. Martin B.June 2019Positive- great location directly on the LahnNegativwould not know anyNice, small, well-kept placeWe were there with 3 families with our kids and we really had fun. The children had space to play, we were able to go swimming in the Lahn and the weather was just great. Stand-up paddle boarding was also offered on site. We also used the beach club and went out to eat there one evening, very tasty and... at reasonable prices. As it was very busy on Wed, we sometimes had to wait a little longer. But that's not a bad thing. Staff very friendly, always helpful, even when it was lunch break and we had a power cut in our entire row, we were helped immediately. We 3 families liked it so much that we booked the same 3 (11,12,06L) pitches again next year for Corpus Christi. The electricity connection and the water supply are always in the middle of 4 pitches. The water connections are about 1.5m high, so that the kids couldn't play around unnecessarily :). The toilet facilities are a little small, but as the campsite operator wrote in the last review, they are already working on a solution. It was always clean there and that's what counts!
