- Katja S.August 2020PositiveFamily-run; shuttle service to the beach and Ravenna; rural, quiet location; breakfast and small meals as well as drinks in a small café; bread can be ordered; pool; corona regulations are taken very seriously; despite little shade, there are always shady spots availableNegativLittle shadeSmall but niceThis is a very small and family-run campsite. If you want peace and quiet away from the large tourist sites, you'll feel at home here. There is a small pool, which was never overcrowded. The family offers a shuttle service (where you can also take your dog) to the beach 6 km away or to the town of Ravenna,... which is just as far away, or to Classe (where there are also antiquities to admire). The service costs €2 per trip and person. A small breakfast is offered (also only 2€, but not very rich, but still!), as well as small snacks such as piadine or similar. A few chilled drinks are also available. The wifi works in the reception area. The sanitary facilities are very well maintained and are cleaned several times a day, especially because of Corona, as are the sun loungers by the pool after each use! The conditions are handled very strictly, so the already generously sized pitches were not filled up completely. However, the trees are not planted too densely, so there is not too much shade. If you want to enjoy not only a beach vacation, but also Ravenna or other cities, this is the right place for you.Automatisk oversat.
- Andreas W.March 2018PositiveVery friendly operator, cleanliness, very reasonably priced shuttle service.NegativSomewhat remote, noisy main road. Two nights at the Camping Bio Farm in March 2018To round off our pre-Easter vacation in Italy, we were looking for a campsite from which we could visit the Mirabilandia theme park, which opened on 29.03.2018. We contacted them by email and immediately received a friendly reply and an offer for 2 nights and 3 people of €54 for the campsite and tickets... for Mirabilandia for €60 (our youngest daughter was free if she was under 10). Once we arrived at the campsite, we were able to choose a pitch, of which there were still plenty available. The campsite itself is located in the middle of wide fields and close to a busy country road. Overall, the site made a well-kept impression. The sanitary facilities were very clean, but still quite cold. However, there was a "disabled" bathroom which could be used by everyone and contained an oil radiator as a heating source. However, there are no individual washing cubicles as described by Camping.info. You have to bring your own toilet paper and soap, but this is usually the case in Italy. The electricity connections for the pitches are nearby and included in the price. One of the campsite's services deserves special mention. The friendly campsite manager drives her guests directly to Mirabilandia in a minibus. This service costs just one euro per person there and back! On the day of our departure on Good Friday, the campsite was filling up noticeably. It was probably almost full over Easter. All in all, a very nice campsite, which is highly recommended in combination with a visit to the theme park or Ravenna. The only small disadvantage is the high level of noise from the nearby main road.Automatisk oversat.
- Heiner W.September 2017Small simple campsite with pool and clean sanitary facilitiesWe stayed there for 2 nights and actually didn't find it bad at all. We paid 18 euros with all the trimmings. We went to the beach by bike, it's about 5km. The road next door is audible, but it didn't bother us. The pitch is spacious and the owners go to a lot of trouble. We would take this pitch again rather than a crowded large one right by the sea. You have peace and quiet and everything is much cheaper.Automatisk oversat.
