- Mandy R.August 2019PositiveCity within walking distanceNegativNoneGreat place in front of NeversThree of us stayed at the campsite for 7 days in a mobile home and were very satisfied. The mobile home was well equipped and there was nothing missing. We had a great view of the Loire and the old town. The site made a clean impression and the staff were very helpful and super friendly.Automatisk oversat.
- Thomas N.July 2018PositiveCity within walking distanceNegativPart of the square without shadeGood starting point for a tour of the city of NeversBeautiful transit area for a visit to the town of Nevers, directly on the Loire. The site is laid out in terraces. Sufficiently large pitches which are parceled out by hedges and trees in the upper area and by signs in the lower area. No shade in the lower area. The sanitary facilities are clean and... functional. The site has a supply and disposal station for motorhomes, but some motorhome owners dirty it. Probably because you'll be driving on the next morning anyway. There are plenty of shops and restaurants in the town. The town is within walking distance.Automatisk oversat.
- Gregor B.September 2017PositiveLocationNegativnone, it's just averageBeautiful locationConvenient location, right on the bridge over the Loire with a view of the cathedral. The city center is also not far away on foot. I noticed few facilities at the campsite, but that didn't matter because of the proximity to the city. The deposit for one night in the rental accommodation is a bit bizarre:... EUR 250, even if only one person is staying for one night! I have never seen this anywhere else in France. Reception doesn't open until 9.00 am, so if you have to leave early, you have to make sure you do everything the night before (not possible with rental accommodation).Automatisk oversat.
- Thomas M.July 2017PositiveNear the AltstattNegativNo shade on the tent meadow. Hand-washing basin right next to the urinal in the shared toilet room.good stopover for canoeistsThe campsite has 2 faces: the upper part is very shady and parceled out, while the lower part is free of trees and the pitches cannot be properly recognized. Access from the Loire is also shallow and you have to push the boat several times. The sanitary building appears to have been rebuilt. However,... it looks like an arched ceiling has been dispensed with. The toilet room is for everyone and there is a hand wash basin right next to the pissoir. This is no longer possible today. As is so often the case, you have to bring your own toilet paper. There is also a nice lounge with a bar, where snacks are also available. It's not far to the Altstatt, just cross the bridge...Automatisk oversat.
- Alfred G.June 2016PositiveClose to the city, quiet, beautifully situated on the shore.NegativUntrained staff.Ideal place for visiting NeversUnfortunately, the reception staff were somewhat immobile and rather unqualified. Despite the fact that the place was almost empty, we were unable to register and get a seat at 10:30 a.m. ("everyone leaving has to be gone first!"). The registration procedure was carried out by 3 ladies, only one of whom was competent. The change was wrong, the price information was wrong despite the clear "forfeit price".Automatisk oversat.
- Frank-Helmut W.June 2015PositiveProximity to the river and the cityNegativHigh throughput frequencygood locationThe site is located directly on the banks of the Loire with good mooring facilities for canoeists. It consists of an upper part with large trees (very shady) and parceled out and a lower tent meadow, which has no infrastructure and is completely (!) shadeless. The site is very close to the city center... and is therefore well suited for sightseeing in Nevers. I can't understand the problems seen by some reviewers; it's just a big city site with a high guest frequency, you don't necessarily have to shower when 100,000 others are doing so. We had no problems - despite the high season. However, the sanitary facilities are not sufficiently ventilated and turn into a stalactite cave when used heavily.Automatisk oversat.
- bernard c.April 2015Positivelocated in the city yet very quietNegativfairly small parking area for several arrivals at the same timeopinion of a campig-carristewell-situated campsite for visiting the town (1km from the center), very good welcome, well heated sanitary facilities (pleasant in April) and very clean, beautiful view of the river.Automatisk oversat.
- Heiner M.October 2014PositiveClose to the city and yet by the river.NegativNot enough toilets and showers!Close to the cityWe were here for 3 nights with the bad luck that there were many motorcyclists, which was rather restless at night. the place on the shore is nice but too many trees. The sanitary facilities are too few.Automatisk oversat.
- Rossano S.August 2013Excellent accueil. La gentillesse de la propriétaire et ceux qui y travaillent. Pratiquement dans le centre-ville de Nevers. La ville de Santa Berbadette. Emplacements spacieux. Toilettes propre et bien entretenu. Je le recommande vivement. Siccardi Rossano (Italie)Automatisk oversat.
- Christine R.August 2013Very noisy campsite, undefined pitches, it's a mess to be polite. Sanitary cleanliness very limited. Don't go there to rest! Don't shorten your booked stay because you'll still have to pay the price.Automatisk oversat.
- Axel S.October 2012Very bad entrance, better drive towards the city, turn in a circle and drive back, places are very reduced by trees in the plots, location very good, center of town (cathedral hall + pedestrian zone) 15 min walk.Automatisk oversat.
- Helmut M.September 2012Sanitary also here without outside doors. The pitch was fully booked. Great for visits to Nevers. St. Bernadette (Lourdes) is also "exhibited" there in a chapel in a glass coffinAutomatisk oversat.
- Alfons L.May 2012Small site directly on the banks of the Loire opposite the center of Nevers. Transit site with lots of movement. only 3 toilets for shared use by women and men, showers too. waiting times in the morning! nice pitches with a beautiful view of Nevers. Boulangerie on the other bank of the Loire, approx. 10 min walk. very friendly reception.Automatisk oversat.
- Gerard S.May 2010A good place to visit Nevers and the surrounding area. Reasonably spacious sites. From the campsite beautiful view of NeversAutomatisk oversat.
