Paid and completed the formalities. Then tried to park on the pitch, unfortunately much too small, the employee realized that it would not work, but his boss said over the phone that it had to fit. End of the song we left again but money was not refunded, although less than 30 minutes passed between check-in and check-out, Sad that there are still such people who only want to earn money. The pitches are ok in terms of size, but the only thing you have on the pitch itself is an electricity connection. The sanitary building is very well laid out as far as toilets (2 for the men) and showers are concerned. Showers only with... coins (-.50 €). As a rule, always clean, unless the occasional camping guest failed to behave accordingly. A positive aspect is the proximity to the beach, which is within walking distance. Unfortunately, there is no bread roll service, there was no snack bar and the restaurant was also closed. The paid wifi (€ 3.50 per day) is overpriced in my opinion and was therefore not used.Automatisk oversat.- Gerhard K.April 2019PositiveClean and well maintained. - Olaf V.October 2018PositiveVery clean in all areas, hospitable staff, close to the beachNegativW Lan with costsSmall but niceDe Zwaluw is a fairly small site where permanent and tourist pitches are more or less in balance. The pitches are large enough, there are camper pitches with grass pavers and the camping fields are separated by half-height hedges. The paths are mostly paved with red gravel. The entire site area and a... small children's playground with bouncy cushions look very clean and well maintained. The 2 sanitary facilities in container construction, typical for Holland, are simple and functional but absolutely clean at all times. Unfortunately, you have to pay with 20 cent coins for hot rinsing water. Coins for using the shower are available at the small, well-run reception. The staff are always available and very hospitable. There is a restaurant with a terrace right next to the campsite. A short walk through the dunes takes you directly to the clean beach with a restaurant and lifeguard service in high season. There are a whole range of excursion destinations in the immediate vicinity, so a stay at de Zwaluw should never be boring. We will definitely be backAutomatisk oversat.

There is also a vacation apartment on the site which is really lovingly furnished and very spacious with 3 rooms, bathroom and kitchen. Very nice landlords. The site is very quiet and clean and is located directly behind the dunes, so that you can reach the beautiful sandy beach after a 5-minute... walk. A short bike ride along the endless cycle paths through the dunes takes you to Den Helder (and thus to the ferry to Texel) on one side and to Callantsoog on the other. There are shops in the village of Julianadorp, about 2 km away. We will definitely come here again!Automatisk oversat.

Due to the small family business, the operators always try to solve any problems as quickly and easily as possible. Very clean facilities. Due to the sheltered location directly behind the dune, you can usually sit outside your tent even... in windy weather. The pitches are absolutely perfect for tents. The grassy ground is level and the size of the pitches, including the car, is absolutely sufficient. The proximity to the town of Julianadorp is ideal if you are traveling by car, as is the 5-minute walk to the beach. I found the attached restaurant quite expensive and the quality of the food was not outstanding. We tended to drive into the town. But for a cold beer, it was great ;-)Automatisk oversat.
Jürgen K.May 20122nd stay: May 2012 Between 2010 and today, a 2nd sanitary facility was built. The price has now increased to €21.90. Otherwise everything is as described for our 1st stay. Stay: Easter 2010 - price: 20.75 + electricity, shower token 0.50 - hot dishwater 0.50€. The place was not fully booked, pictures... correspond to the conditions. Sanitary facilities very clean! After crossing the road you are directly in the dunes and on the beach. No noise disturbance from the road. There is a large field behind the campsite. Children's playground available, shopping can be done in Julianadorp in the EK center. Very nice, helpful and friendly CP owners - family business. We would love to come back. The campsite itself is very clean and the sanitary buildings even more so... In my opinion the price/performance ratio is right. There is also a shopping center nearby which can be reached by car in about 5 minutes there you have Aldi, Lidl and a Dutch supermarket and many other stores (toys etc.)Automatisk oversat.
