"top address - Any time again. We can reach the site in 90 minutes, so we like to use it for short stays over the (sometimes extended) weekend.

"Great campsite in a quiet location but with full facilities - Large pitches, new sanitary facilities, quiet location, optimal supply situation within walking distance, super nice management...what more could you want? Plus cycling and hiking trails right on the edge of the village. There are currently 3 active restaurants in the village. I did not notice a tense situation in the sanitary area with what felt like 80% occupancy. Absolutely top value for money. This campsite is one of my favorites!

"Very well managed and equipped campsite directly on the Altmühl - Centrally located in the Altmühltal valley, the manageable campsite offers plenty of variety for walkers, cyclists and boat hikers. The network of cycling and hiking trails is very well developed and starts almost directly at the campsite. There is a boat landing stage at the campsite and in the village. The power supply is a solid 16 amps and the connection to the WLAN was uncomplicated and reliable. The power connection and water point were in the immediate vicinity of our pitch. The local bakery was also open on Sundays and public holidays and the bread rolls were very tasty. The barbecue area with two fire pits is generously sized and offered plenty of seating, some of which was covered. The fact that some guests blocked the tables and benches the whole time, in German towel reservation manner, is less nice. There was a large trampoline and a small playground for the children. The campsite was always quiet and relaxed. Check-in was quick and cordial. The operator was always very friendly and offered freshly grilled fish on Saturday. There is a sanitary building with toilets, showers and washbasins. The sanitary facilities are modern, bright and friendly and were always at a pleasant temperature. Although there were only 5 showers, there were no waiting times. However, the water in the showers drained very slowly and the floor in the shower room did not slope sufficiently towards the floor drain, so that the entire floor was flooded. Unfortunately, there were also no shelves (e.g. a low bench under the washbasins) where you could leave your clothes to dry. After the main shower times there was unfortunately no hot water, only lukewarm. The whole campsite makes a very clean, well-kept and tidy impression and is very well equipped. We stayed three nights in our mini camper in the 2nd row of tents and really enjoyed our stay. We would love to come back.

"Cozy place on the Altmühl - A great and cozy place. The operator is very helpful, friendly and responsive to suggestions. The site has been significantly upgraded (toilets, showers, electricity, hygiene, etc.). Shopping facilities and excursion destinations are within easy reach. When fully occupied, the number of toilets is unfortunately limited. Nevertheless, the promise: "We'd love to come back."

"Very beautifully situated place directly on the Altmühl - Very nicely located site with super renovated sanitary facilities, very clean. Operator very friendly and helpful. Given the size of the site, the number of toilets and showers is a little tight. A second sanitary building would be desirable. The size of the shower cubicles is also very limited. A little more size would be an advantage. All the necessary stores in the village are within easy walking distance.
