- Robert W.September 2021Positiveclose to nature, 2 minutes to the sea, reasonably pricedNegativuneven pitchesIdeal for sightseeing ConcarneauAn ageing campsite in a natural setting but clean. There is a new sanitary building and a slightly older sanitary building, which is also fine. The pitches are partly parceled out, but quite uneven. You can reach the ferry to the town in about 15 minutes along the footpath along the coast. Recommended for a 1-3 night stay.Automatisk oversat.
- Andreas S.August 2018Location close to the city with small flawsCamping du Moulin d'Aurore I agree with BossaNova's comments. Unfortunately, I have a few things to criticize. The whole site makes an unkempt impression. In the newer sanitary buildings (unisex) there is only light in the wash cubicles. It is dark in the toilets and showers. No glasses, no paper. The... site has 2 dogs (approx. 25kg and 40kg) that run around freely. When we were there at the end of August, the ferry stopped running indefinitely due to technical problems. (From 31.08 is the end anyway) Better inform in advance if the ferry runs again. Otherwise there is also a bus, but it probably doesn't take dogs. It takes about 45 minutes to walk across the bridge to the old town, market and Arsenal. The big market is on Fridays and Mondays in the morning. The market hall is open daily in the mornings.Automatisk oversat.
- Nils M.July 2017PositiveConvenient location, beautiful old treesNegativThe older sanitary facilities are not completely clean and are already very worn out.Beautifully situated placeThe campsite is conveniently located if you want to visit the historic Ville close of Concarneau or the town itself. After a walk along the shore, you can reach the ferry that takes you directly to the Ville close. The square is also a good starting point for excursions. There is a good bakery right... next to the entrance, where you can get your daily baguette, for example. However, it is closed on Sundays. There is another boulangerie about 400 m away on the right-hand side of the campsite, past the entrance to the hospital. The site itself is parceled out, with the plots only marked by markers on the ground. The site is covered with grass and is mainly characterized by trees and hedges. The newer sanitary facilities are located in the upper area. They are simple and modern. The toilets are WCs, but without toilet seats. In the lower area, connected to the bar (where nothing was going on during our stay) are the old sanitary facilities. They are antiquated, but functional. There is only one toilet here (with a seat), all the others are standing toilets. There is wifi in the area around the bar, but it was not always stable. As we asked for it when we registered, we were allocated a pitch near the bar.Automatisk oversat.
- SOPHIE L.July 2010VERY quiet campsite. Nothing for teenagers. The games for the little ones were broken. The sanitary facilities were well maintained but outdated. On the other hand, well located, you can take the ferry to the walled city on foot via the coastal path. The campsite overlooks a small sheltered beach. Old-fashioned campsite, my children were bored and, to tell the truth, so were we.....Automatisk oversat.
