It takes about 1 hour by bus to Bahnhof Zoo and from there by subway to Berlin-Mitte.

Ego- and alcohol-driven wannabe off-road campers party until late into the night at 01:30, even though an additional notice is posted to enforce the site quiet from 10 pm. So we had 3 sleepless nights and were... then able to sleep at least 2 more nights after changing pitches. Complaining alone is not enough and only leads to a shrug of the shoulders. At the end of the day, you also pay for the campsite to run properly and for you to get a good night's sleep.Automatisk oversat. - Ralf K.June 2020PositiveClean, well organized.NegativNo arrangement for groups who want to celebrate there (see comment); wifi was not available due to technical fault and would not have been free (if available).Unfortunately annoyed and displaced by a celebrating group of menOn the penultimate day of my stay, a large group of younger men turned up (around 10-12), positioned themselves between the existing campers and unpacked all the utensils for a party (beer benches, barbecue, music system...). As it was clear that there was no peace and quiet to be found at this spot,... all the campers nearby packed up their tents and moved to a more distant location. Among these "resettlers" were also families with children. The party then took its course with extensive consumption of alcohol, roaring, sound from the music system and revelers defecating in the surrounding bushes.

As described several times, the sanitary facilities are quite old, but always very clean. A tip for returning from Berlin tours (also by bike): Complete the... return journey via Wannsee station with the BVG boat to the Kladow landing stage (with the AB ticket for 2.80) and walk or drive back to the campsite from there.Automatisk oversat.

Bus stop right outside the door and in... 20-25 minutes to the nearest S-Bahn station. Located directly on the forest and almost (about 400m) on the Havel. Uwe M.October 2017PositiveGood transport connections, friendly staff, clean sanitary facilitiesNegativNo parking in front of the barrier at night, connection fee for electricity, high electricity bill.....A good place to visit BerlinWe were traveling with 2 adults, 2 dogs and a caravan. The pitches are allocated by friendly staff. The pitches are marked by boundary stones and thus divided up. There are areas where you have satellite reception and others where it is impossible due to the tall trees surrounding the site. However,... you are asked about this when you register. The toilet block closest to us was very clean, but had the charm of times gone by. But cleanliness is more important to us than a modern look (you don't renovate your bathroom every few years at home....). You can hear the main road from the front. There is a bus stop directly in front of the gate. We found it a disadvantage that not only the barrier but also the gate is closed in the evening. You do get a key for the pedestrian entrance, but there is no parking outside the fence. It would not be a bad idea to move the fence so that the parking spaces in front of the barrier could be used at night. The bad habit of having to pay a "connection fee" for the electricity has unfortunately also found its way here. So €1.50 just for opening the power box and plugging in the plug. In the off-season, electricity is not charged at a flat rate, but according to consumption. We were there for two nights. During the day in Berlin. So we only ran the fridge and in the evening some lights and the TV. 6€ for that? Unfortunately, I hadn't checked the meter reading. Overall, the place is not a cheap pleasure, maybe because of Berlin.Automatisk oversat.
