Doesn't fit together!Great family campsite by the seaWe (2 adults and 2 children (12 and 11 years)) stayed at the campsite for 8 nights over Easter. We had a 90sqm comfort pitch (there are different categories) with water and drainage. The pitch was nice and level with a lawn and coped well with the fair amount of rain. Important: The "normal steel nails"... do not hold in the ground - you can easily pull them out again - it is more like a large vacation park or vacation village with many bungalows or mobile homes, mainly about 90% German guests. Great infrastructure: really large supermarket, restaurant, indoor swimming pool with 2 great slides, indoor playground, restaurant, food corner, theater hall, several playgrounds, football/basketball court, etc. Every day (at least during the vacations when we were there) from morning to evening children's entertainment in German.the program for this is known early.very modern and clean sanitary facilities. It's only a short walk to the dunes and beach, which is really great, and overall it's super organized, which is necessary given its size, from arrival (booking system) to departure. Super friendly staff! They still make an effort for the camping guest (inquiries are answered quickly), which is unfortunately no longer a matter of course today. One small thing that we didn't like: time-limited shower tickets. 5 minutes per card per day. You have time pressure when showering in the morning and really have to hurry, water is saved here but in the toilet it feels like the toilet flushes 3-6 times involuntarily, automatically, while you are still sitting on it. And the Wi-Fi is really bad for such a great campsite, which was especially bad for our kids. But apart from that, we really, really liked it. We've already booked again!Automatisk oversat.

It was the most expensive on our list in the preliminary planning, but it was worth it. Various playgrounds (outdoor and indoor) for the kids, tennis court, 500 m from the pitch to the beach, indoor swimming... pool, brand new sanitary building with very spacious showers, always friendly staff, well-stocked supermarket, FoodCourt42 with fast food, eb&vloed as a "better" restaurant and Zuid Zuid West, a restaurant right on the beach...
As we chose the pitch ourselves, we can't even complain that it was sometimes a bit noisy right next to the entrance to the children's sanitary facilities.
The center of Renesse is about 1 km away and can be reached on foot or by bike

Nice swimming pool with several whirlpools and slides. Our daughter (5) found the play area for the little ones to be good. The entertainment was not yet in operation during our visit. Overall, the "camping" at the camping resort is a little too short for our... taste, the site consists of just under 800 mobile homes and only 150 pitches, but they all make a good impression. Nevertheless, the mobile homes give the site its character...
I was a little annoyed by the shower cards. Sometimes the card readers get stuck, which leads to dropouts. In addition, credit is debited as long as the card is inserted, regardless of whether water is running or not. And even if everything goes well, the pressure is so-so. In my opinion, the system is inappropriate for a place that considers itself to be 5-star (and is accordingly well-traveled).
Overall, we had a nice vacation there, but we will try one of the other campsites in the region next time.Automatisk oversat.

Close to the beach, you can easily walk there.
We visited the restaurant once, the food was very good. We also used the snack bar by the swimming pool the evening before we left. It was ok.

To summarize : we were not disappointed : location to the beach perfect, private sanitary facilities (for the first... time) a great luxury and the wellness offer was also quite ok, only the noise of the children playing in the swimming pool soon drove us away again.
We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the Eb & Vloed restaurant with its great, friendly staff, so that we ate there twice. The New Year's Eve party, which was moved to the theater at short notice due to the bad weather, with the band "Copy Cats" was also great, not to mention the free champagne at midnight and the fantastic fireworks.
The Strandpavillion Zuid Zuid West was extremely well attended and sometimes there were even waiting times to get in. The only thing that was inappropriate was the (loud) Spanish party music.
Otherwise, the place is extremely well organized and the entire staff is very friendly.
Only the size with the many chalets reduced the coziness somewhat. Unfortunately, there are some unnecessary rules that are enforced by an unfriendly lifeguard.
Children without a seahorse have to wear a swimming aid and it doesn't matter whether they can swim and the parents are right next to them or not.... For us adults, this may be a small matter, but for our son, the vacation was over.
The owner, who was standing 5m away from the friendly lady at reception, was not available for a clarification discussion.

Grüße aus Renesse. - Oliver S.August 2019PositiveExtremely friendly staff, ALWAYS free dishwasher relatively quiet despite the size free coffee in the supermarketA very nice, large and yet cozy place almost directly by the seaOur first vacation in Holland took us directly to this rather large site. Only the access road is a bit narrow when there's a lot of traffic and many vacationers can't read the "Parking for caravans only" sign - but that's about it for the negative points... Reception: We received a friendly welcome... at reception and were given all the important information. The route to our pitch was marked on the map - nothing could be improved here. Pitch: Our comfort pitch was big enough (8m caravan) but could have been a bit longer. There is a complete infrastructure (electricity, water, TV) directly at the pitch. Unfortunately, the sinks are poorly constructed and there is always some residual water (including leftover food from the neighbors or pee from the potty) so it smells a bit. Regular rinsing with clear water didn't help, but fortunately it was only noticeable in the immediate vicinity. The pitch consists of grass with sand (depending on who was previously on the pitch with what, less grass and more sand) separated by small hedges and trees. The sanitary blocks were modern but functional. Showers were a bit scarce at peak times and the water was a bit too much for the drains. The toilets on the outside could have been cleaned more often. However, they only looked used and were not really dirty. A positive feature is the dishwasher which can be used once a day free of charge. Culinary: The campsite itself has a relatively large Spar with sufficient choice and FREE coffee! Otherwise you can find Lidl and Aldi just 14km away. We avoided the brasserie after looking at the menu - spaghetti for ~€15 was a bit too much for us. The snack bar "De Eterij", on the other hand, offers fries, pizza and burgers in large portions for reasonable money - and it tastes really good. Entertainment: Unfortunately there were a few mistakes in the program, otherwise the entertainment was great. Whether children's express, foam party or evening program really very nicely implemented. Indoor pool: The indoor pool is quite small, but perfectly adequate. A small outdoor area with water games is sporadically in operation. Otherwise there is a large pool with a water depth of ~1.4m, two slides, two baby pools and two whirlpools. What I personally find very good is the attentiveness of the lifeguards. Children who can't swim properly have to wear swimming aids. This is consistently enforced and I wish this were also the case in Germany. Beach: The beach is public and very crowded, especially at weekends when the weather is good. Unfortunately, there is only one public toilet - not so nice with small children. But the sand is wonderfully fine. Conclusion: We'll be back - sometime when it suits. There was nothing major to complain about and it was a really great vacation!Automatisk oversat.

Beach is awesome but far away!... 10 minutes to 15 minutes walk ... Playground not suitable for 4 year old children! very dangerous because very high with climbing etc ... Wash house well ... but that's up to the nice people! Overall, this region is characterized above all by the great beach. The sanitary facilities are very colorful and were always very clean. The campsite is very large and has many mobile homes for rent, which unfortunately limits the character of a campsite... somewhat. The supermarket on site is well stocked and not too expensive. There are 2 restaurants. One is an American-style fast food restaurant with moderate prices and the other is a restaurant with quite expensive prices. To get to Renesse you should definitely have bicycles with you. It takes about 20 minutes on foot and only 5 minutes by bike. The location to the beach, the well-kept site itself, the staff and also the proximity to other leisure activities are great! The campsite's own supermarket has everything you need, the swimming pool is well maintained... and the playgrounds for the children are beautifully laid out. There is entertainment, but our children haven't used it yet due to their age (as far as we know, it's only offered in Dutch). The only thing we found a little overpriced was the restaurant, but we didn't feel we had to visit it.
