"Top transfer point, good starting point for Vrata valley etcg - 1. we were happy to have chosen this place. The hype about Lake Bled is incomprehensible. 2. ideal starting point for Vrata valley, Pericnik, Planica, bicycle tour D2 etc. 3rd The site is well laid out on a slope. Space for tents, mobile homes, caravans 4 We found the staff to be friendly. 5. the site is tidy and well-kept. Night rest 23 to 7.00. If you want to leave earlier for transfer: places in front of the barrier. 6. sanitary : Positive: I have always found clean toilets, washing facilities, shower. Critical: 1. there are two sanitary blocks. In the upper one the showers were locked, even though the place was well occupied. In peak times so not enough showers. 2. basically there are no separate areas for men and women. There were in the lower shower block, but the doors have been removed. So there are no "protected" washing areas. There are no plans for this in the upper wash house. We found this to be a clear shortcoming. 7. washbasins: There are sufficient washbasins in front of the upper and lower sanitary blocks. sinks are available. Unfortunately, the water here only lukewarm. 8. street noise: very clear on the lower pitches, diminishing at night. Overall: the location of the pitch offers many options (restriction: traffic noise). It is well maintained. The staff are friendly. A sustainable revision of the sanitary facilities, also with regard to gender-separated washing and showering facilities, would be useful. 9. we paid (couple over 65, caravan) with electricity (5 euros per night) with spa tax 36, - per night. Acsi discount is not granted.

"Simply good! - We used the site as a stopover in the direction of Croatia and back. It is about 8 km behind the Karawanken tunnel. The landscape is beautiful and we will definitely come back here to hike. The reception was very friendly and the ladies spoke very good German. Everything was totally uncomplicated and there was no problem leaving before opening time. The pitches are spacious with plenty of shade. The sanitary facilities are super clean, showers cost 50Ct. Charcoal barbecue allowed.

"very idyllic location, good starting point and nice - We had rented a cabin incl. WC. Everything was very nicely furnished and clean. The owner Ana is very nice and helpful. Mojstrana is in an idyllic location and you can make many excursions from there or hike in the Triglav National Park. A very, very nice accommodation

"Friendly little place, also for children and dogs - We were here on the way back from Croatia.The outward journey went through the Soca Gorge,which was of course more impressive,but here too we were not disappointed.With 3 children under 7 years and 2 dogs and tent we had a lot of choice of places.For the tents partly not parceled out,nevertheless car next to it,very pleasant.There is also a barbecue and table and the view is beautiful.Even for the dogs there is a small area.Sanitary facilities quite clean.

"Lovely little campsite - Close to the road, but without disturbing traffic noise, easy to reach for large and small caravans/motorhomes. Dogs are allowed, well-kept outdoor facilities (bushes), very friendly staff; many different nationalities, electricity on site

Profil

The pleasant and peaceful KAMNE CAMPSITE is open all year and is situated in an idylic alpine resort. It covers an area of 1,5 hectares and can accomodate 200 summer guests. The camp also rents bungallows. There are two tennis …courts, table-tennis, playground for streetball, small swimming pool and picnic place. Guests can enjoy tennis, mountain biking and fishing. The camp provides useful maps and all the necessary information about mountain tours. The camp is in the immediate vicinity of Triglav National Park and the magnificent Alpine valleys of Vrata, Kot and Krma. It is the ideal starting point for numerous easy and more demanding outings into the Karavanke and Julian Alps and, most spectacularly, upon the slopes of Mount Triglav itself – the symbol of the slovenian nation.

Vejbeskrivelse

Campsite Kamne is situated in the North-West corner of Slovenia in the region of Julian Alps. If you are coming to Slovenia from Italy over Rateče border crossing (via Tarvisio) or from Austria over Wurzen Pass (Korensko sedlo) (via Villach) …continue driving for additional 20 km straight forward on route 202. You pass several settlements, such as Kranjska Gora, Gozd Martuljek, Belca. When you pass two villages Dovje and Mojstrana you will find the campsite Kamne on the left side about 1 km further down the main road. If you enter Slovenia through Karawankentunnel from the austrian side, use the first highway exit and follow signs for Kranjska Gora (route 201). After 4 km you will see the campsite on the right side of the main road. If you are driving from slovenian or croatian coast, you pass Ljubljana, the capital city of Slovenia. Keep driving on highway towards North-West for additional 65 km. You exit the highway just before Karawankentunnel and continue driving towards Kranjska Gora (route 201) for 4 more km. Campsite is located by the main road on the right side.
