- Juergen R.May 2018PositiveSuper well maintained facility Very courteous operator familyNegativfor us noHere you can unwindIf you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the place for you. Ten minutes' walk to the harbor with small fishermen's restaurants. A very well-kept place, which is lovingly designed by the operators, almost park-like. Small but nice! We also really liked the extremely friendly and accommodating... manner of the father and daughter. The sanitary facilities are not the newest, but the design and cleanliness are great. The signature of the operators is visible everywhere. Unfortunately, there is no bread roll service and catering is only available in high season. The village center with two bakeries, a patissier and a supermarket is only a 10-minute walk from the campsite. The path along the main road is unfortunately not the nicest. But these are only marginal comments for us, because we will definitely come back here.Automatisk oversat.
- Alexander N.July 2016Positive- Well maintained, clean, friendly - Town center with stores + restaurants within walking distance - Conveniently located but still quietSmall but nice2 weeks at La Cigalle are now over, here are our impressions: Very beautiful site, lovingly laid out and managed by the owner family. The pitches are separated from each other by flowerbeds and bushes. There are also many large trees, so you can always find a shady spot on your pitch. Very nice and well-kept... overall impression, to which the staff also make a big contribution with their friendly and open manner. The sanitary facilities are modern and were always clean and usable without queues, despite the site being full. There is a pool area with a paddling pool for families with small children. On the other hand, those who prefer to explore the surrounding sights by car or bike can set up a conveniently located yet quiet base camp here. The only entertainment here is that you are kindly asked at the bar whether you would like another glass of wine if you are sitting in front of an empty one. There are no shopping facilities on the campsite, but the center of Ares with all the stores you need is only a 15-minute walk away. At the snack bar there are only the usual pizza and "fries + X" variations. You can eat them, but you don't have to. But who needs a restaurant on site when there are 3 very good restaurants to choose from within "digestive walking distance" (approx. 15 minutes on foot) at the harbor? A small drawback for dog owners: dogs are very welcome but there is no nice "dog walk" directly from the campsite. We didn't mind, we are always on the move a lot on vacation and during a reading day on the campsite our 2 woofies were happy to just be allowed to lie around lazily. Then 10 minutes there and back is enough to get the important business done. Conclusion: For me, one of the best campsites Best wishes to Marie, her parents and the rest of the team, thank you for 2 wonderful weeksAutomatisk oversat.
- Mario H.September 2015Beautiful place in a great landscapeThe family-run site (around 45 tourist pitches) impresses with its warm, friendly nature. Everything seems well organized, well-rehearsed and you quickly feel very comfortable and "at home" here. For food, you have to mingle with the locals, which we prefer to an overpriced store at the campsite. In... the meantime, we can also report relatively large pitches, very clean sanitary facilities and an inviting bar. Other guests have told us that many of them are repeat visitors. We are happy to believe that. The friendly host family is probably not entirely innocent.Automatisk oversat.
