- christian l.August 2022PositiveAdvantage: you can camp here without being chased away.NegativExpensive, loud and ugly. Nice on the soundproof wall that does nothing. One night and goodbye.Expensive and loudThere were two nights for the price of one. The first and the last night. Eight more characters.Automatisk oversat.
- Eva S.August 2020PositiveBeautifully landscaped park, great playground, great facilities.NegativPitches careless, ugly layout, few and far away from the beach.Bungalow park with alibi camping cornerWe wanted to go there a week ago. As we drove in and through the mobile homes, we were initially impressed by how beautifully the site was laid out. Then came the slap in the face:
The pitches are now confined to a small, tightly packed area in the far corner, right next to the noise barrier. A really... ugly, uninviting atmosphere.
It's not unusual that there are more mobile homes everywhere, but I find it outrageous that the "real" campers are obviously only tolerated and not welcome.
We backed out of the campsite again...Automatisk oversat. - Enriko P.August 2017Positive- Good location, pine forest, close to the beach and Calvi - Very friendly staff - Camping card accepted in low seasonNegativ- Continuous street noise (even at night and into the morning hours) - no really hot water - pizzaNice but no 4 starsWe stayed at the campsite for two weeks. Registration was straightforward and the staff were very friendly. Our pitch itself (green area) was also beautifully situated under pine trees and the sea was just a few minutes' walk away. The sanitary facilities, which were very dated in our area, were cleaned... three times a day in the high season (from September 1st only once). There is a small wood in front of the campsite where you can take your dog for a walk (please pick up and dispose of any dog waste). All in all, everything was ok. BUT!!!!! The proximity to the road is absolutely annoying. There was never a night where you could sleep through the night, because the scooter and motorcycle drivers in particular speed up and down the road like madmen. There is also a helipad near the campsite where helicopters land and take off early in the morning. The water in the sanitary facilities cannot be regulated, although I understand warm water to mean something else than what comes out of the pipes. From September 1st, only cold water was available. The swimming pool is quite small, but the sea is just around the corner. We didn't try the restaurant as the pizza we got there wasn't very tasty. There was so much cheese on it (which wasn't really good either) that you couldn't taste the rest of the pizza. It may be a matter of taste, but for me it was one of the worst pizzas I've ever eaten. Due to the negative points mentioned, I can't understand the 4 stars.Automatisk oversat.
- Thomas H.July 2017PositiveOn foot to Calvi, beautiful shallow fine sandy beachNegativlittle shade from the eucalyptus trees. The campsite near CalviBeautiful campsite situated partly in the sparse Eucalyptus forest and partly in the pine forest. Unfortunately, the pitches in the pine forest are very noisy due to the nearby road. We made a reservation and were given a pitch in the eucalyptus forest that was far too small. Then had to move to a pitch near the road. Conclusion: Too bad, otherwise we would have stayed longer.Automatisk oversat.
- Herbert O.May 2017PositiveSwimming pool, close to the beach, shady spotsNegativSanitary already a bit older.Nice campsite close to the town.Pitch selection a little chaotic due to lack of French language skills. Hard ground made anchoring the tent difficult.Automatisk oversat.
- Richard M.September 2016PositiveClose to the beach and Calvi.NegativCumbersome and time-consuming check-in (20 mins/unit). There was always a queue at reception while we were there.Almost perfect placeLarge site with good sanitary facilities, swimming pool, small wellness area (extra charge), well-stocked supermarket and good restaurant. Pitches are large and parceled out, and mostly flat, more or less shady, sandy ground. Approx. 200 m walk to the wide sandy beach with a great view of Calvi. Behind the beach is the narrow-gauge railroad to L' Ile Rousse, next to which runs the paved path to Calvi (walking time approx. 35 min.).Automatisk oversat.

- Sascha T.June 2015Positiveshort walk to the beautiful beach lots of shadeNice place - short walk to the beachLarge site with plenty of shade from tall trees. The parceled out pitches are big enough for a car and a large tent. We received a friendly welcome at reception (English-speaking). A pitch was suggested, which you can also change after viewing it. There are new and older sanitary facilities which were... clean but a little small in number. The site has a well-stocked store, a restaurant and a nice pool. Another positive thing we noticed was the security patrol in the evening. The beach can be reached on foot in 5 minutes. The walk to Calvi takes about 30 minutes and leads along a beautiful beach promenade. Overall, a nice place that we can recommend.Automatisk oversat.
- Silvie A.October 2014PositiveGreat value for money (21 euros for everything, children included). Beach great, clean, quick to reach.NegativFlocks of crows came to our pitch (at the back right of the camping car) every morning at 06:45, crowing loudly;(Nice campsite close to the beach and CalviStill open in October and well frequented. Top sanitary facilities, showers too. Electricity connection right next to the pitch. Swimming pool available and also heated. Well-stocked small supermarket with fresh bread in the morning. About 25 minutes on foot to Calvi, 5 minutes to the beach. Huge supermarket within walking distance. Train to Calvi stops at the beach. Wifi for a fee. Checking in and out was very quick.Automatisk oversat.
- Nicole S.September 2014PositiveGood infrastructureNegativProximity to the roadGood, but not worth 4 starsThe place is not bad, but in my opinion not worth 4 stars. In the front part, the pitches are very close to the road. There is always shade on the pitches due to the many pine trees. The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated and were not always clean. The long and beautiful sandy beach is about 400m from the entrance.Automatisk oversat.
- Robert K.June 2014Positivebeautiful plotsNegativlengthy registrationlarge space with "Welnesspool" :-)A very large site (supposedly 240 pitches), parceled out, quite flat, many electricity columns - all easily accessible and close to the pitch! The sanitary buildings are a bit older, but were always clean and had hot water! There are lots of mobile homes and small bungalows on the site! The pool has... massage jets, bubble loungers, a swimming channel and a children's area! The restaurant has a large menu and some dishes (roast chicken, pizza, etc.) can be pre-ordered and taken away! The store is rather small, but well equipped and also has a lot of camping accessories on offer! A small stream flows through the site - so there are a few mosquitoes on site! You have to walk a few hundred meters to the sea, where there is a kilometre-long sandy beach with a beautiful view of Calvi! Some of the pitches (at the very back) are located on a busy road - so it can be a bit noisy here. Occasional aircraft noise is also to be expected - it was very quiet at night! Good facilities: children's playground; mini-club (seasonal); tennis court; basketball; soccer pitch; WiFi (expensive); mini-golf; several barbecue areas with seating. Checking in is a bit tedious: if you have time, you are chauffeured through the grounds in a golf cart and shown the available pitches. Once you have decided on a pitch, the driver gives you a slip of paper with the pitch number, which you then use to queue again at reception and then you can finally check in!Automatisk oversat.
- Gero H.June 2014Positive- Beautiful location / natureNegativ- access may be difficult for very large/wide caravans/WoMosBeautiful locationBeautiful place, we were right on the river. From the village of Die (supermarkets and gas stations are available), you can go on incredibly beautiful tours in the Vercors and the surrounding area, whether by motorcycle, MTB, car, hiking, etc. etc.. The operators are very friendly and helpful. The site offers plenty of shade even in summer and is very inviting thanks to its natural setting.Automatisk oversat.
- didier d.September 2013impossible to sleep because of a bus of Romanians next to my site, my complaint to the office did not surprise, no excuse, knowing even the gene, I should not be the first to complain, but we were 3, they about 15, the profit, for this campsite, premium on the well-being, to banish forever!Automatisk oversat.
- Georg W.June 2013Recommended. Large campsite surrounded by pine/eucalyptus trees. The location is ideal for hiking and cycling trips in the surrounding area.Automatisk oversat.

- Ralph W.May 2012constant "leafing" of the willow trees, quite annoying and unusual for this time of year, mosquito alarm in the evening, as standing water and former swamp area, clearly sorted store, friendly staff, approx. 20 minutes walk to the town along the beach, sanitary area partly closed from 08 a.m. due to cleaning workAutomatisk oversat.
- Frank T.August 2011We first visited the square 14 years ago, when it was still a municipal square. A lot has changed for the better since then. Some of the toilet facilities are older and moderately clean, and there is a pool. Unfortunately, some pitches are right next to the main road to Calvi, where it is very noisy.... On arrival, you should try to stay in the area to the right of the main entrance. It is quieter there. The supermarket is well stocked. The staff at the campsite are helpful. The location of the campsite is an ideal starting point for walking along the beach to Calvi. The beach itself is clean and well maintained, although it is divided by barriers. There is a stop on the Calvi-Bastia railroad line at the beach.Automatisk oversat.
