- Andreas T.June 2023PositiveSmall, nice with many shady pitches. Lovingly laid out, clean campsite.NegativThat there is almost no infrastructure.nice small quiet CpThe place is run by an older couple, very friendly and the woman also speaks some German. Lots of shady pitches but there are very few of them. The sanitary facilities and the whole site are very clean. It's the little things that make the place cozy. There is a bread roll service but the bakery is only 100m away. You have to drive a few kilometers to go shopping. The cycle path is about 500m away.Automatisk oversat.
- Matthias B.May 2023PositiveShadow, Location, BakerNegativnothingGreat campsite!Very nice campsite with mature trees, so lots of shady spots available.
The operators are extremely friendly. There is no entertainment and so it is very quiet. The sanitary facilities are much better than expected for a 2-star campsite and very clean, which is ultimately more important to me. Overall,... everything is very well maintained and lovingly designed. A bakery with a wide range of products is 50m away.
The site is a great starting point at the foot of the Vosges for excursions of all kinds.Automatisk oversat. - Georg D.August 2020PositiveNot too big with nice plots, friendly couple who run the place, everything clean; location apparently very popular with cyclists; located in the village, wine tasting, bakery, pizzeria, and butcher all around the cornerNegativSome may find the place too simple or outdatedNice and simpleA simple, totally nice place in the middle of Whir au Val - everything a bit older, but clean and looked after by a friendly couple - knowing some French helps though.Automatisk oversat.
- Rosemarie S.September 2019PositivePeace and quiet, pleasant quality of stayNegativSmall town a little away from the "highlights" - nothing if you want to go out on foot in the evening.A good starting pointThis beautiful little site with lots of trees is hidden in the middle of the village - perhaps a little difficult for large motorhomes. Very friendly service, sanitary facilities with everything you could wish for, bakery up the road, wine and other small items can be bought at reception. Ideal starting point for excursions to the Vosges and the wine route.Automatisk oversat.
- Eduard G.June 2018PositiveQuiet location, great baked goods for breakfast, .....NegativVery airy sanitary area in windy conditionsA good weekA good address from which to explore Alsace. The pitches are well sized so that the camper van and awning are always easy to park. Quiet and cozy despite the location in the center of the village. There is a great bakery just around the corner with everything a good bakery in Alsace has to offer. The butcher's shop is a minute further on. Drinks and wine are for sale on the square.Automatisk oversat.
- Ingo K.May 2018PositiveBeautiful large plots Nice people Small and cozy InexpensiveNegativNoneA great placeCordiality is still a top priority here ;) . The whole place is super nice and very quiet. The operators are loving and very nice, which is also reflected on the site. We left our Wowa and awning alone for 3 days. When we returned on Friday, our awning had been reinforced because it had a water bag. Thanks to the operators that our tent was still standing and didn't fall victim to the storm.Automatisk oversat.
- St. W.August 2017PositiveOld stock of trees. Location in the region. Friendliness.NegativNumber of toilets.RecreationA week's rest on a small campsite where the family who run it make an effort to be eco-friendly. If you ask, they'll tell you something about the place and you'll soon have your private photo collection on the table.Automatisk oversat.
- Martin B.June 2017PositiveCentral location. Spacious pitches. Good sanitary facilitiesNegativNoBeautiful small green campgroundVery friendly reception. Spacious pitches with plenty of shade. Very quiet despite being in the middle of the village. Good spacious sanitary facilities that are cleaned several times a day. Located very central for cycling, hiking, and car trips.Automatisk oversat.
- Jürgen H.July 2016PositiveVery manageable. Very friendly operators. Good location. Price.NegativQuite cramped when fully occupied and not enough sanitary facilities.Small but nice!Small campsite in a strategic location! Everything easily accessible in Alsace. Very limited sanitary facilities and small pitches when fully occupied. But everything very well maintained by the very friendly and hard-working operators. A lot of maneuvering and pushing with a long caravan. Not very quiet, as in the middle of the village - but acceptable. Very, very reasonably priced for what is on offer!Automatisk oversat.
- Anita W.May 2015PositiveQuiet, clean, familiar. Very good location.Wonderful location in a family atmosphereAlthough in the middle of the village, this is a very quiet, family campsite. Beautiful pitches under trees. Starting point for hikes or excursions in the region with the nearby train. We'd be happy to return any time.Automatisk oversat.
- H.April 2011Simple, beautiful, natural campsite. Although in the middle of the village it is wonderfully quiet and in the morning you wake up to birdsong. Small playground, table football, ping pong table. Clean sanitary facilities, but open, so in spring it was rather fresh after a shower :-). In a few minutes... you are on the cycle path, which leads through fields and forests without traffic and away from the roads, but paved. Colmar and the other sights are easily accessible by car.Automatisk oversat.
