No more campsite!!!
On our trip to Spain in September 2021, we wanted to spend a night on the pitch, as we often do. When we arrived, the gate was locked, but we could see that the whole site was covered with "little houses". A woman who approached me told me that the site was no longer a public campsite, but was only open to "residents". This is not mentioned at all on the campsite's homepage!

Location on the highway
Ideal for a stopover
The campsite, about 10 km from the highway, is ideal as a stopover. Everything was very clean and well-kept and the operators are investing in redesigning the site. For example, around 50% of the hedges have been removed and the empty spaces have been planted with flowering plants. Everything looks very... open and friendly. The managers, who speak English, are also very friendly and courteous. Unfortunately, the street, which is very busy during the day, is within earshot. But this subsides in the evening. The sanitary facilities are tiptop. The area itself (L`Ouvèze valley) is very scenic, there are also some hiking trails. Normal cyclists can only use the main road, which is a bit borderline for me. However, the nearby town of Privas is a good place for a short trip, also for shopping

Beautifully situated and good place
The place would still need a more comfortable sanitary building, then it would be great all around, place is in a very nice location, very friendly operator family, the pool offers cooling for the whole family, river nearby, very nice surroundings, great also for stopover to Spain, we liked it very much

Good place to spend the night
Good stopover
Like many others, we stopped here on our way south. In August it can get very crowded on the site. We were lucky, 5 pitches were still free at 16:00. The Dutch lady at reception wanted to send us away, but the owner had a heart. You can buy good homemade wine on the pitch. But the fridge should be well... stocked beforehand. We stayed for two days and made our final destination clear from there. We always go without a booking and have already been turned away from another site nearby. The pitches are comfortable and fit an 8m caravan and car.

Good place for overnight stays
We were only here for one night on our way to Spain. There is a row of pitches in which the overnight guests are free to choose their pitch. The pitches are separated by high hedges. Firm but dusty ground with no grass. The swimming pool is beautifully laid out. Lovely playground with nice play equipment and trampoline. The area around the site is quite deserted, the nearest shops are about 5 km away.

Nice stop on the road south
Stayed here for two nights on the way to Spain. The site is about 10km away from the highway. The location is quiet but in the middle of nowhere. No major supermarket nearby. It is very quiet, clean and the owners are friendly. The reception offers snacks and good wine. For an overnight stay absolutely recommendable, for longer it is a bit boring.

Nice, clean site for an overnight stay or for a few days. Level, large plots screened by hedges with water connection, simple but clean sanitary facilities, very nice children's playground with slide, swings and trampoline, nice pool and quick and easy to reach from the highway.

Although the campsite is not advertised for motorhomes, they let us on the site. The children were particularly impressed by the swimming pool. The site is private and shady due to the hedges. The sanitary facilities were clean. The quality is perhaps confirmed by the many Dutch campers.

We have been using the campsite for years as a stopover on our journey south. It's the only campsite we use on our outward and return journeys and has been for years. The staff are friendly and helpful. Great value for money.
