- Andreas K.August 2021PositiveQuiet, paved pitch for motorhome with meadow area, water and electricity directly at the pitch, natural swimming pool, good starting point for hikes and bike tours, train stop also within easy walking distance.NegativNone that are worth mentioning.Quiet place with good facilities and cleanlinessSmall, quiet site with very good facilities. Good food in the restaurant. You are welcome. Great location in the Franches-Montagnes. We felt very comfortable.Automatisk oversat.
- René G.June 2020PositiveTop place in Switzerland. Super nice, courteous staff. Pure nature, very clean place even when fully occupiedNegativNo disadvantagesRené GloorAbsolute top place. Ideal for hiking, horse riding and cycling and for discovering the Jura mountainsAutomatisk oversat.
- Susanne B.October 2019PositiveVery quiet and clean. Everything available; horse riding, sauna, fitness, swimming pond, restaurant, shop, playground....Dreamlike Franches-MontagnesA fantastic place with a swimming pond, horses in front of the caravan door and pure tranquillity. Very clean place, friendly staff, very good selection in the restaurant, great offer in the shop, riding possibilities, great starting point for hiking. The sanitary facilities are no longer the newest, but everything is available and clean. The place is in the upper price segment, but is worth it. Ideal for horse lovers.Automatisk oversat.
- Stefan W.September 2019PositiveLocation in the middle of the Jura pastures. Hikes to rustic auberges Etang de Gruére nearby Store with bread delivery serviceNegativMixed sanitary facilitiesIn the midst of magnificent natureCamping in the middle of a magnificent natural landscape. All around are the Jura pastures with their typical groups of fir trees. Herds of horses and cattle can be seen everywhere. If you like hiking or biking, you will find a real Eldorado here. The campsite is generously laid out. Paved pitches with... direct electric and water connections are available for mobile homes. Each pitch has a well-kept lawn and the slightly angled position means you don't have to look directly at your neighbor's back. Very practical disposal for gray water in front of the sanitary building. There is also a well-stocked store at the reception with daily supplies and fine local specialties. There is also a small restaurant, which is also frequented by locals. The natural bathing pond is a feast for the eyes and was still being used by several campers in mid-September. The sanitary facilities no longer seemed up to date. Everything you need is available, but in a single sanitary block. Toilets and showers are not gender-separated and took some getting used to at first. However, this proved to be completely unproblematic. There are guest rooms directly above the toilet facilities. However, with numerous entrances and exits to the sanitary facilities, dirt is brought in accordingly. Although the appliances were always clean, the sanitary building did look a little worn...Automatisk oversat.
- Alfred L.August 2019PositiveIt has everything you need Idyllic location You are immediately in nature (jogging, mountain biking, hiking or horseback riding)NegativMass shower over general shower/WCBeautiful placeThe CP is nestled in the middle of a beautiful natural landscape. The people and permanent tenants are very welcoming and helpful. This region is a paradise for horse riders, hikers and mountain bikers. The paths are very well marked. Everything is quieter and not as hectic as here. We could relax very well and will certainly come back again.Automatisk oversat.
- Heinz S.September 2018Positive- Friendly and professional reception - Quiet and well-kept place - ideal starting point for long bike and hiking toursNegativ- Mixing of group accommodation and camping guests is annoying for both parties - lack of dirt traps in front of the sanitary buildingAlways worth a visitThis is the third time we have stayed at this quiet and well-kept site in unspoiled nature. The terraced pitches are very spacious and equipped with electricity and water. The reception was very friendly and courteous. However, we don't understand why the sanitary building is not separated from the group... accommodation and campers. In addition, there are no mosquito nets at the entrances. Cleanliness could not be better guaranteed. Wonderful hiking and biking tours into the Hochjura can be undertaken from the site. We did not use the restaurant. However, there is a small store where you can buy everything you need, even in the low season. We were particularly impressed by the regional specialties.Automatisk oversat.
- Valentin E.August 2017Somewhat remote, but also very quiet campsiteThe site is a little off the main road, but is very well signposted. Very friendly and helpful reception. Although the site is terraced, the pitches are largely flat. The site is kept in exemplary order. The sanitary facilities are well maintained and were always very clean during my three-day stay.... You can eat in the restaurant at normal prices. The menu is very extensive for a campsite. My overall verdict: A very good campsite, which is also suitable for longer stays.Automatisk oversat.
- Reto H.September 2016PositiveIn the middle of nature and in a quiet location with many possibilities for activitiesBeautifully situated campsiteThe campsite was taken over in summer 2015. The new operators are working hard to rebuild the facilities at the campsite with great commitment and passion. During our stay, we found the staff to be polite and the management to be very approachable and open to concerns and suggestions.Automatisk oversat.
- Gerhard W.August 2016PositivePeace and quiet, pure nature, friendly staff, clear management,NegativTime always passes too quickly in this wonderful place.A second homeWe love relaxing at Les Cerneux. Our last vacation was five weeks long and we stayed there. We love the area, the climate, the peace and quiet and the excellent cuisine. The barbecue at the weekend is legendary. The only negative point - the vacations always go by far too quickly! :-) The campsite is equally suitable for families and couples, for children and senior citizens, for horse riding and cycling enthusiastsAutomatisk oversat.
- Thomas K.August 2015PositiveBeautiful locationNegativSwimming pond with very limited bathing times. Former amenities have been abolished: hot "Hotpot", Ketterwand, video eveningsUnfortunately disappointing this timeThe last entry is from 2011, when I also learned to love the campsite for its innovative ideas. However, this time there was an unpleasant scene at check-in with the campsite manager, who had been new for two months: she made it very clear to me that the only reasonably flat area could no longer be used... for camping, as it was now designated as a children's playground. My request was refused and I was directed to the remaining sloping area. Alternatively, the motorhome site would have cost 10 SFR / night (40% surcharge!) more. As a campsite owner, you should get the idea that an uneven meadow is not conducive to nightly rest (2 points deduction). During the stay, the manager didn't have a friendly word to say, e.g. no greeting, instead looking away. The colleagues, on the other hand, were very friendly. On the day of departure, my son and I wanted to use the swimming pond one last time - half an hour before the end of the official regeneration phase of the pond. Again, our friendly request was turned down and our attention was drawn restrictively to the regeneration times. This meant that we were denied access in the last warm minutes just before the weather changed. Even a reference to the approaching bad weather that was predicted for the next few days, which would certainly have given the pond enough rainfall, was not enough to change our minds: the times must be adhered to - the guest is not heard! There were other minor shortcomings in the logistics, but never mind ... Was I asking too much? Two seemingly simple requests were turned down. Where is the hospitality? (1 point deduction). The irony: the few children present played noisily in the sanitary block and not on the playground provided for them.Automatisk oversat.
- Peter T.July 2015Quietly located campsiteIdeal as a base for exploring the Franches-Montagnes. Swimming pond very appealing. Absolutely polite staff.Automatisk oversat.
- Markus K. B.July 2013PositiveGreat area, nothing but peace and fresh air.NegativTidiness and cleanliness on the pitch and a poor restaurantSimply pure natureThe place was recommended to us by friends. Unfortunately, the management has changed in the meantime. We were looking forward to the restaurant, which was inedible, not clean and a waiting room. The sanitary facilities and the dirt on the site did not meet Swiss standards. Our somewhat sloping pitch... for the caravan, one side 60 cm and the other 30 cm, had the most beautiful view of the horses and the beautiful countryside. There is always a fresh breeze in this area and it gets quite chilly in the evening. If it's too hot in the city, this region is great. The big advantage is that the nature here is really pure. Hours of hiking across pastures with cows and horses and through forests. Please do not miss the hiking signposts. Unfortunately, many restaurants are closed in the summer weeks of July/August, so always take provisions with you. You can also get to the remote corners of the Jura and back again by public transport. We would love to come back again; if the campsite management is right again.Automatisk oversat.
- Kathrin K.July 2013Beautifully situated in the middle of nature. Shopping facilities for the essentials on site and further shopping facilities are available in the next village 2km away. The staff are friendly and courteous and always try to accommodate requests. We were there in high season and the campsite was not overcrowded.... A wonderful place to relax. There are many hiking and cycling trails right from the campsite. The natural swimming pond was very popular but never overcrowded.Automatisk oversat.
- Meyer D.July 2013Well-run campsite in quiet surroundings on a high plateau in the Jura. Very friendly reception (German/French), store with a good selection of articles for daily needs. Bread rolls for breakfast can be ordered the evening before. Great natural swimming pond; tennis can be played in Les Breuleux (reservations... at the Trummer butcher's shop). For larger purchases we recommend the Migros in Saignelegier (large and has everything). The only negative point during our stay: the waiting times in the restaurant were very long. Conclusion: we would be happy to come back and can highly recommend the place.Automatisk oversat.
- Martin G.August 2011A place in a beautiful Jura landscape where you feel at home. Very friendly welcome, you can choose your own pitches. Motorhomes and caravans have separate pitches, and there is a slightly sloping meadow for tents. Clean and generously equipped showers and wash cabins are available. (The dishwashing... room and laundry room are also clean and well equipped. Wonderful hikes can be made from the campsite. Tip: The Ètang de la Gruère can be reached in just over an hour on a unique hiking trail. Small negative point: Although there is space, cars may not be parked next to the caravan, so they have to be parked outside the site. You can live with that!Automatisk oversat.
- Franziska F.June 2011A small, fine campsite in a beautiful area. Ideal with children. Unfortunately the site was very overcrowded and there were far too few toilets/showers for so many people. Unfortunately, these were also cleaned too rarely. But everything else was great and we will definitely be going back :o)Automatisk oversat.

- peter s.July 2010Since 2010 also open all year round in an absolutely quiet location in the Franches-Montagnes (Jura). Situated in the middle of Jura meadows with hiking and riding opportunities. Outside the main holiday season, a site with ideal pitches for motorhomes for senior citizens seeking relaxation.Automatisk oversat.
- Dario G.June 2010A very nice and quiet campsite. Small and nice. The location is beautiful and it's great for hiking. However, walking with a baby carriage is difficult, as after the dirt road you can only walk on footpaths. Ideal for horse lovers, as horse rides can also be booked. This place is always worth a visit!Automatisk oversat.
