- Reinhold H.July 2024PositiveThe quick booking option via the Internet (e-mail via camping.info and ACSICaming app). Pitch size sufficient for our 6.40 panel van, electricity not limited, location of the pitch, key for two access gates to the beach for which 10 euros are deposited, small store on the beach with baguettes ..., fresh vegetables and fruit just 2.3 km away (open 3-6 pm) larger grocery stores in Saint Mailo. Lots of dog owners, so far I haven't seen any dog waste lying around - compliments to the dog owners. Bring toilet paper! Many shower cubicles combined with washbasins. No complaints about the sanitary facilitiesNegativ-Place a good choiceWe can recommend it and would book it again. Also that not all pitches have to be pre-booked and that non-bookable pitches are also available. The cleanliness of the sanitary facilities was fine, it also depends on the user! Pay attention to it yourself, then everyone is satisfied!Automatisk oversat.
- Karin P.June 2024PositiveThe location on the "double beach" is beautiful.NegativYou need a key to access the beach. Unfortunately, we didn't receive one, so we had to make a detour via the main entrance. WiFi costs extra (€ 6 per day). The ladies' toilet was closed at 8.00 in the morning because the cleaning team was cleaning. No toilet paper available. Price € 43 per night (motorhome with electricity) rather expensive.Top location, but price/performance is not rightThere was no sign of bird droppings in the sanitary facilities, this problem seems to have been solved.Automatisk oversat.
- Elias W.July 2023PositiveVery good price-performance ratioNegativ-Great place for base campA very nice site with wonderful pitches. There are plenty of clean sanitary facilities and direct access to the beautiful beach. The location is ideal for excursions in the region. There is a small store with baguettes in the morning and everyday necessities. English and German are no problem at reception. All in all, highly recommended!Automatisk oversat.
- Andreas G.July 2022PositiveLocation by the seaNegativnoneVery well run place in a beautiful locationA very well run campsite in a great location right on a beautiful beach.
The campsite is quite large and has shady and non-shady pitches.
There are pitches that cannot be booked (good for spontaneous travelers). In the high season, however, the pitches are occupied from midday (without a booking, it... is best to arrive in the morning).
The campsite has everything you need. The sanitary facilities are clean, as is the entire site.
Most of the site is no longer a campsite but a mobile home area. However, this is not noticeable because it is also spatially separated from the actual campsite.
There is direct access to the beach, which is also very beautiful.
All in all, a campsite to be recommended.Automatisk oversat. - Werner G.June 2022PositiveSituated almost directly on the beautiful sandy beach in a bay. Clean, separate sanitary facilities by regional standards. Hiking opportunities above the bays. Well-kept complex.NegativTown and larger supermarkets within walking distance.Beautiful location, directly on the beach, well-kept groundsOf course, the beautiful location has not changed compared to the last reviews. On a positive note, the sanitary facilities are adequate and clean. It is quite normal to bring your own toilet paper on French campsites. German is also spoken at reception, which seems to be reflected in the number of German visitors.Automatisk oversat.
- Bianca R.June 2017PositiveGreat location by the sea, close to St. Malo and Mt. St. MicheleBeautiful place by the seaWe stayed at this site for five days in June, were welcomed in a very friendly and helpful manner, had a nice large and semi-shaded pitch. Everything was very clean, but a swallow's nest in the shower didn't bother us. Small store on site with everything you need.Automatisk oversat.
- Bernd R.August 2016PositiveDirect location on the beach, shaded areas availableNegativSwallows' nests in the toilets (not particularly annoying, but not everyone's cup of tea)Beautiful placeStayed at the campsite in August 2016. We had great weather and enjoyed the campsite and the view of two bays. Due to the good weather we extended our stay and were able to enjoy the surroundings by bike and car, especially Cancale (oysters galore). We will certainly return here again.Automatisk oversat.
- Hans-Jörg S.May 2015PositiveBeautiful location with a direct view of the sea.NegativThe hygiene in the sanitary facilities is catastrophic.great location by the sea, but sanitary .... !!!!!The site is beautifully situated, well maintained and the staff are friendly. The sanitary facilities wouldn't be too bad. BUT there are many birds nesting in the shower area, for example. Walls, floor, shower cubicle everything is dirty with bird droppings. An absolute imposition and very unhygienic.... Although a cleaning takes place from time to time is after 5 min. already newly soiled. We could only stay because we have enough capacity to shower ourselves. Ideal for Saint-Malo and Mt. Saint-Michel excursion. Attention to distances.Automatisk oversat.
- Ludwig K.May 2015PositiveBeautiful location.NegativSanitary facilities full of bird droppings, food supply problematicBeautifully situated with restrictionsBeautifully situated pitch. When we were there, it was sparsely occupied and therefore ok. Beautiful beach, hiking opportunities and sightseeing of St. Malo possible. No public transport. Sanitary poorly rated because swallows nest there and everything is full of bird droppings. No toilet paper available. You have to walk about 500 m down the hill to the small store and then back up again. Reception speaks German.Automatisk oversat.
- Georg F.June 2014NegativDirty, poorly cleaned sanitary facilities. Bird droppings in the sanitary area!Very nicely located placeThe site is in a really beautiful location on a wide sandy bay. Hiking opportunities along the coast, many sights in the vicinity of the site, Saint Malo within easy reach. Spacious, well-parceled pitches. As usual in France, the sanitary facilities are not separated for men and women. Many guests come... with tents over the weekend. The sanitary facilities are then often very dirty (!) and are only cleaned very carelessly. Birds nest in the sanitary building and shit all over everything, so the bird droppings stuck to the walls of the showers and were still there for days after the supposed cleaning. Too bad about this otherwise really nice place.Automatisk oversat.
- Peter W.September 2013A good starting point to see the area of Saint Malo, Le Mont Saint Michel, Dijon, Dinard and Cap Fehel. We were there for three days, and the journey was quite adventurous, partly via adventurous country roads. However, the campsite is signposted, so this must have been the right way to get there. The... barrier is/was closed at lunchtime. However, the groundsman still let us in so that we could choose one of the free pitches and check in after reception opened. The check-in went smoothly, they speak several languages there, including German. I experienced the two ladies very differently, one very friendly and courteous, the other lady rather cold and stroppy. The pitches are quite spacious, somewhat sandy ground. Electricity partly with CEE plug, partly only to be used with an adapter for French households. Water supply about 30 meters. There are two sanitary buildings. One rather inconspicuous behind the reception (older) a somewhat newer building. Both are basically clean, but the general condition leaves a lot to be desired. Birds sometimes nest in the buildings and soil a lot with bird droppings, and if you're unlucky even your freshly cleaned body or fresh laundry. Not exactly nice. The showers are closed after 11.00 pm, which is also not very popular. Shopping possibility for e.g. fresh bread at a small store on the beach, about 400 meters, reasonably priced. The restaurant on the beach is SUPER CLASS * and great value for money. Arrive early, otherwise there will be a shortage of seats!Automatisk oversat.
- Gabriele S.August 2013Located directly by the sea. Ideal for swimming. Hilly terrain, partly with trees and hedges. Sanitary facilities adequate and clean, not excessive but OK. Small grocery store available. The distance to St. Malo is 4 km. To get to the old town, it is certainly 10-12 km. Bus connection available; cab costs 28 EUR one way. But the trip is worth it.Automatisk oversat.
- Uta L.July 2013There were four of us with a dog and tents. The site was about 80 - 90% full. The sanitary facilities were cleaned three times a day and there were plenty of showers and toilets so we didn't have to wait. The whole site and the beach are very clean - although there are no garbage cans on the beach. The... days and nights were pleasantly quiet and the pitches were large enough. In the middle area, the pitches are separated by rows of trees (some shade). Thanks to slight slopes, the rain drained away well after a heavy thunderstorm. The road separating the campsite from the mobile homes was not a problem as there was little traffic on it. Only the key for the two gates to the beach, which was given to us at the beginning of our stay, kept jamming. We often had to rely on the help of other campers - although they were no different. An amusing point of contact when buying croissants in the store in the morning, and at the weekend, hawkers came near the sanitary block with their carts selling cheese and jewelry. The friendly reception staff spoke fluent German or English. The campsite is a great starting point for trips to neighboring towns, for walks along the coast or just to relax on the beach or on the campsite. We will be back, no question!Automatisk oversat.
- Melanie B.August 2012Very nice campsite with a great beach. Ideal starting point for excursions. The pitches are large and partly shady. The sanitary facilities were always clean. We felt very comfortable there - and so did our dogs.Automatisk oversat.
- Stephane G.August 2012Pleasant campsite close to the sea, very clean sanitary facilities.Automatisk oversat.
- Volli d.July 2012Very nice place with really friendly staff who are even multilingual! Sanitary facilities were always top, the offer is extensive, we even had a free Irish folk concert of the "church fitters" on the first evening - it was great - our dog was welcome, and there were no problems with the neighbors : ) Next year we want to start the Brittany round trip here ....Automatisk oversat.
- mara c.July 2010Mediocre campsite with mediocre sanitary facilities, mediocre pitches and equally mediocre cleanliness. There are clearly better but also worse places. However, it has a beautiful beach and the location to the sights of Mont St. Michel, St. Malo and others is excellent.Automatisk oversat.
- Matthias R.July 2010Large campsite with a very nice location and a fantastic beach. The sanitary facilities were cleaned very frequently, unfortunately there were far too few toilets either queue (horror) or alarm clock at 6.00am and times in peace on the toilet. Restaurant in the immediate vicinity, great excursion possibilities St.Michel, St Malo, Cancale...Automatisk oversat.
