- Markus K.June 2023PositiveVery friendly operator, own pool, bread roll service, large pitches on grass, most pitches shaded by old trees, canoe rental and, on request, delivery service for longer tours on the Doubs.NegativFortunately nothing!Pure relaxation, whether you are passing through or on vacationFirst of all: The campsite is now called "Bijou du Doubs" and now has 3 stars according to the official French rating.
We stayed on the site for 10 nights and felt very comfortable. The German operator is very relaxed, friendly and humorous. The pitches are all grass pitches, some with a view of the... Doubs. Most of the pitches are shaded by mature trees, but there are also pitches that are purely sunny. Due to the trees, however, vehicles over 3 meters may have problems entering the site or on the pitches!
Birdwatchers, anglers and canoeists/kayakers will get their money's worth on the Doubs. Sit-on-top kayaks can be hired on site, and a delivery service is also available for a 2-hour boat trip.
We enjoyed using the "bread roll" service, especially the baguette. Tip: On Tuesdays, another baker delivers the baked goods, and the croissants and pains-au-chocolat are particularly delicious.
The owner of the square cooks in the restaurant himself - and does it really passionately and well! A special tip here is the burgers and fries, but the small mixed salad is also a must! But the lamb shank, the half chicken and the other dishes are also worth a try! And the desserts really are a dream: be sure to try the so-called "Café Supreme": This is an espresso + 3 different small desserts (formule no. 1, for example, is the aforementioned espresso + a scoop of ice cream + a small chocolate mousse + a small crême brûlée, then no. 2 had the espresso + a scoop of ice cream + a small chocolate cake + a small green lemon cake).
The pool is open from 8 am to 8 pm.
The WLAN is free of charge.
As the shower cubicles in the university sex sanitary facilities are generously sized, my wife and I were finally able to take a shower together :-D.
The power points don't have CEE sockets but the normal French 3-pin socket.Automatisk oversat. - Dan S.September 2021PositiveGreat quiet place with its own pool, very friendly staff, good French gastronomy availableNegativnoneExceptional place in the middle of the Doubs nature reserveLarge pitches, daily bread roll service and very tasty coffee, restaurant for lovers of French cuisine, ideal location for excursions to nearby Burgundy and Jura and the associated wine-growing areas, canoeing, cycling, fishing are a must here. - A. W.August 2018PositiveLarge pitches. No animationClose to natureCamping with large pitches right by the river where you can swim. No luxury camping, for people who don't need glamping and are looking for peace and quiet, this site is absolutely recommendable. Bread roll service and delicious pizzeria on site. We were not there for the last time.Automatisk oversat.
