We drove straight back. I would not describe the sanitary facilities as such. Absolutely primitive. There are new buildings, but they are obviously not finished. My recommendation: don't go there!

Idyllic paradise for anglers
Idyllically situated campsite on several small lakes in the Somme valley. Fishing enthusiasts will get their money's worth here. But this is also the right place for those looking for peace and relaxation. The operator is friendly and courteous and the pitches are large enough. The sanitary facilities... are dated but clean. The cycle path along the Somme to Amiens is a pleasure. Once there, you should visit the impressive cathedral. The Saint Leu district then invites you to linger with its small cafés and restaurants. We didn't regret our two-day stopover.

If it weren't for the plumbing......
The location between the ponds is wonderful. You can watch lots of water birds and relax. The new indoor swimming pool still looks a little unfinished in many respects, but is otherwise quite nice. The Acsi guide advertises a sauna and jacuzzi. We didn't find either. In the same place, it says that there... will be a restaurant by the lake from 2019. This was still under construction. It seems to me that things are being advertised here that don't (yet) exist. The swimming pool and the restaurant shell show that investment is being made in the site. But what good is a swimming pool if the sanitary building is the site's biggest shortcoming? Investment is urgently needed here. The few toilet cubicles are unlit. There is light in the anteroom, but as soon as you close the cubicle door, you are standing or sitting in the dark. The showers are also poorly lit and not very attractive. We would not return to this site because of the sanitary facilities. There is a well-signposted cycle path along the Somme. However, as the Somme is canalized, it is rather boring to cycle along it. The city of Amiens can be reached by car in a relatively short time. The cathedral there is well worth a visit and a boat trip through the floating gardens is highly recommended. There is also a beautiful park. However, there are much more attractive cities in France to visit.
