The atmosphere suffered somewhat as a result, as we only had a view of caravans, awnings and metal tool sheds. The atmosphere of the location directly... on the Noor was unfortunately lost as a result. There is also a lack of structure in the form of hedges, shrubs or flower beds.
The transponder system for opening the barrier and for hot water in the shower is a good solution. Access to the wash house is also very good for corona times. However, the capacity of the wash houses seems a bit low for midsummer. We liked it very much with our 2 dogsNegativIt is difficult to walk the dogs from the campsite, as the road runs directly alongside. The small restaurant has a small selection of food, and the pizza was unfortunately "inedible"Vacation at Camp LindaunisIt was our first time on the Schlei and at Camp Lindaunis and we really enjoyed it.
Not everything was perfect, but it doesn't have to be.

Only hot air whisk (Corona!?) in the washroom. No partition in the shower between dressing room and shower area. Price performance is not rightPlace with a beautiful location on the SchleiThe approach to the site, with its very beautiful location on the Schlei, is easy to drive to. However, there is no queue in front of the barrier. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Permanent campers are in the majority on the site. The tourist pitches are sloping and access with longer caravans... can be difficult when full. The facilities on the site are functional, the atmosphere of the site is rather sober. The two sanitary buildings are generally clean and are cleaned once a day. The facilities are in need of renovation, especially in the sanitary building on the pitch and no longer meet today's standards, swollen shower bench, radiant heaters on the wall for money etc.. The number of showers/toilets is also too low when fully occupied. The advantages of the site are its location on the Schlei and as a starting point for sightseeingAutomatisk oversat.

The tourist pitches have a beautiful view of the Schlei and there are also pitches right on the water. The two sanitary facilities are good and very clean. The staff (mostly family) is very friendly. Very good bread roll service... (real bakery rolls) The adjoining restaurant Schleimöwe is very pleasant with its small but good menu. The schnitzel is a must. The entire staff is super friendly, the store offers a few daily necessities and fresh rolls every day, the small restaurant has excellent cuisine. Our pitches were right on the shore with a great view of the Schlei. The railroad bridge scares newcomers, but... there are no trains at night and it's nice and quiet. Country doctor fans can walk to the Lindauhof café and indulge in the cake paradise. Very good cycle tours are possible directly from the square.Automatisk oversat.

By chance I could still reach the sewer with the drain hose. So not necessarily recommended for a modern hotel room on wheels. The site is mainly set up for permanent campers.Nice place with many permanent campersA campsite which, in our opinion, is mainly set up for permanent camping. The owner family is very nice and helpful. They were always available for problems and helped where they could. Bread roll service with a small store on site and a small restaurant (which we didn't visit) can be used for supplies.... The sanitary facilities are cleaned daily, but we had the impression that the cleaning was not very thorough. Not to mention the friendliness of the cleaning staff. We also found the cleaning times when the sanitary facilities were closed extremely unfortunate. The water pitches are beautifully situated with a view of the Schlei. We didn't find the railroad noises that have been described here several times so annoying, but we also had a pitch relatively far away from the bridge.Automatisk oversat.- Sven L.June 2014PositiveQuite idyllically situated directly on the water.NegativRailroad and road bridge within earshot.Idyllic by the waterWe stayed at this campsite in June 2014 at the start of our Denmark/Sweden tour. The campsite is in a very quiet location directly on the Schlei. The only downside is the railroad line that runs directly above the campsite, which is particularly noticeable when a railcar crosses the Schleibrücke bridge.... However, it is quiet at night. If you come to the square from the south, you cross this bridge, which is shared alternately by rail and road traffic. It is important to know that the bridge opens every hour at minute 45 for 15 minutes. The site is dominated by permanent campers, but we hardly noticed any of them. The tourist pitches can be found either on a small hill called "Asthma Hill" or right by the water. We were lucky and were able to get a pitch right on the Schlei. There was an electricity box and water directly behind the caravan, but in some places a normal cable drum might be too short. The sanitary facilities are in good condition and were always clean. There is a family bathroom and a chemical toilet sink in both facilities. There should be no waiting times for the showers even when the campsite is busy. You can order your breakfast rolls in the small shop and pick them up the next morning. The best way to explore the area is by bike, almost every street here has its own separate cycle path. Conclusion: We would come again.Automatisk oversat.
