"Fantastic campsite - so far the nicest campsite we've been to in sardinia. it's very quiet and uncomplicated, you can park in the pine forest however you like, we got parking assistance and shelter for our Womo because it's very big at 8m. you have a view of the sea from most of the pitches. the beach is great, we were there at Pentecost and there was hardly anything going on. There is fine sand on the beach, then light pebbles in the sea and it goes in deep quickly. There are toilets with toilet lids at the campsite and hot water in the showers as well as for washing up. There is a pizzeria and another good restaurant nearby. There is waste separation, a small bistro and the opportunity to buy bread, croissants etc. at the campsite. The prices are super fair. We would love to come back.

"nice shade, nice service and sad sanitary facilities - We received a friendly welcome in German and were allowed to choose a campsite from a large selection. the location directly on the beach and a 15-minute walk to the nearest store is very good. The site is under dense pine trees and provides sufficient shade even at 35 degrees. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are in an unkempt condition. There are mainly standing toilets, of the four sitting toilets (for the men) two were defective (toilet bowl or toilet seat loose) that doesn't have to be. On all 5 evenings there was loud live music until 23 . 30 h loud live music from the hotel next door. If you are lucky, you can take a place with a sea view.

"Great location, uncomplicated, simple but clean! - No pitches, beautifully shaded and ideal for motorcyclists. Nothing going on in the low season, great surroundings for hiking or motorcycle tours. Directly on the wide, fine and clean sandy beach. Simple and without frills, inexpensive and recommended for people who don't need a guide to leisure activities!

"Worst campsite in Sardinia - This campsite was the most expensive on the island for me (tent + car) and also by far the worst. In the four days I was there, the sanitary facilities were not cleaned once. And the garbage in the garbage cans was not emptied either. The sanitary facilities are just makeshift facilities in an emergency container. The water was cold and there was no hot shower. The walk to the dishwashing facilities is very, very long, as are the garbage cans. There are only standing toilets. Camping cards are not accepted. The owner is only interested in making a lot of money. Definitely a very poor campsite, far below the usual standard. The only positive thing is the pitch, but only if you get a pitch on the edge of the forest towards the beach. But the forest is badly infested with mosquitoes. Very loud discotheque nearby, overnight stay there from Sat to Sun only recommended with hearing protection.

" - The Mare Blu is certainly not for everyone. There is no luxury here, no private bathrooms, no store and no restaurant. But everything that is sorely lacking in the highly professional, modern campsite business: unspoiled nature, standing in the pine forest as if you were free camping, the sea right on your doorstep. Beautiful, wide sandy beach (not a matter of course in Sardinia), view of three small, uninhabited islets and the porphyry rocks of Arbatax, heavenly peace and quiet (in the low season, during the high season there is probably a loud disco in the neighborhood - but we never experienced this). Extremely friendly site operators (a cooperative) who, when things get tight at the entrance or exit to the "pine forest", will sometimes saw off a branch or dig out a tree stump or connect several hoses together to fill the water tank so that you don't have to walk with the watering can or move the whole camper van. The sanitary facilities are clean and functional, otherwise rather Mediterranean - simple. The village of Santa Maria Navarese can be reached on foot in 10 minutes. The ancient olive trees in front of the church in the village center are worth seeing. Some good restaurants and cafes/ice cream parlors. Plenty of shopping facilities. Excursion boats leave daily from the harbor to the dream bays (Cala Sinise, Cala di Luna, Grotta del Bue marino...) which can only be reached from the water or via hiking trails lasting several hours. Fantastically beautiful. All in all, an ideal place for original camping with lots of contact with the extremely hospitable Sardinians and a great nature experience

" - a very nice CP directly on the sea, pitches in the pine forest directly behind the beach, breakfast with a view of the sea. very simple but always clean sanitary facilities, unfortunately only one on the other side of the small road, there is a small bar where there is cold beer, freezer for ice, cold packs or own beer available & free, on foot 5 min. to the next pizzeria, 10 min. to the supermarket, nice beach very clean water unfortunately a bit coarse sand...but that is also the only drawback, from Santa Maria daily boats go to the dream beaches, we have kept this CP as very nice in memory, unfortunately there is a disco right next door which is very very loud on Saturday from 24°° to 6°°°...
