Sympathetic Marko campsite
Camping located on the property next to the house. Its special value was the owners, who tried to make everything ok. Especially the owner was very communicative in different languages. The large trees at the campsite provide shade. A great place to start a tour of Paklenica National Park.

Small square on the access road to the main entrance of Paklenica National Park
It is a courtyard around a house in which the family of the site operator lives and in which apartments are also offered for rent.
The reception and communication with the operator, who speaks good German, was very nice. Unfortunately, you can tell that the campsite, the sanitary facilities and the communal... kitchen and lounge have not been invested in for a long time. At the time of our stay, the site was characterized by the presence of numerous predominantly Polish campers and climbers, some of whom set off in groups by car at half past five in the morning, presumably to save the entrance fee to the national park. During the day, however, the overall atmosphere is calm and pleasant. The price for the stay is very reasonable.
The entrance to the national park is about 4 km away. The road there is mostly slightly uphill and is easy to manage with normal bicycles
The town of Starigrad Paklenica doesn't have much to offer from our point of view. There is a large supermarket with an ATM 300 meters from the campsite. If you take the dirt road to the sea to the south and then keep left towards an old defense tower, you will find good bathing opportunities. Right next to the campsite is one of the several konobas in the village, which was well frequented. Our recommendation is Konoba Marasovic, about 900 meters in the direction of the NP entrance.

Peaceful camping, clean , friendly hosts
good campsite
I recommend this campground. Clean toilets, kitchen prepared to prepare meals, plenty of space, and above all, the owners were very nice. Close to Paklenica park

Very good location, modest infrastructure
Friendliness, top price/performance, location: only a few minutes to Paklenica National Park (hiking/climbing), kitchen with cooking facilities, quiet location; careless maintenance, modest infrastructure (lack of sockets, no washing machine)
