- Jens V.July 2024PositiveThe site is quiet and within walking distance of the town of Kaisersberg. The pitches are generously sized, parceled out with hedges and mostly shaded by trees. The tenant couple are extremely friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated but always very clean. Bread is available to order on site (there is a great bakery just around the corner). Shopping facilities are also within walking distance.NegativA charging station for electric vehicles would be desirable. There is no publicly accessible one in Kaysersberg; the nearest one is in Colmar.Very nice place on the edge of the VosgesRegardless of the campsite: Kaysersberg is quite picturesque, but really only consists of souvenir stores. The same applies to some of the surrounding villages. The campsite is a very good starting point for hiking or cycling tours.Automatisk oversat.
- Ilka F.July 2024PositiveSuper location between the Vosges and the wine routeNegativ-Clean and friendlyClean, friendly campsite on the edge of the beautiful old town of Kaysersberg. There is a swimming pool near the campsite.
Good value for money. There is a bread roll service at the campsite and a supermarket nearby.Automatisk oversat. - Wilfried P.May 2023PositiveWithin walking distance of picturesque Kaysersberg. Clean and quiet site. Nice park management. Excellent value for money. On some weekends, the local fire department comes and sells delicious tarte flambée.NegativNoneGreat locationThere is really nothing to add to the advantages mentioned above. A trip along the Vosges high road and a visit to Colmar, Freiburg and the vintage car museum in Mulhouse are well worthwhile.Automatisk oversat.
- Martin N.May 2023Positivevery large plots nearby shopping facilities cleanNegativnothinginexpensive place that offers a lotFriendly and clean place. Sanitary a bit older but very clean. Very large, flat pitches with overgrown meadow. Water and waste water on the pitch. Good hiking possibilities from the CP. Supermarket within a few minutes walking distance. Well signposted. Quiet location. Excellent value for money. We will definitely be back.Automatisk oversat.
- Arthur F.May 2022Positiveleaves nothing to be desired very friendly Price performance topNegativnoneSuper placea campsite that leaves nothing to be desired, very friendly operators, well-kept place with large pitches, water and electricity in the immediate vicinity, clean sanitary facilities with good infrastructure, Kaysersberg a few minutes' walk away and bus station as well, wonderful bike tours in the vineyards for every level, unbeatable price performance will definitely come back! nice there are such campsites there everything is even more funAutomatisk oversat.
- Rosemarie S.September 2019PositiveYou can go out for a nice meal in the evening without having to move the vehicle (by bike or even on foot)Beautiful place - beautiful cityI can only agree with the previous assessment: The pitches are really spacious and you feel right at home. There are supermarkets and restaurants in Kaysersberg, you can go out for a nice meal in the evening and take a stroll. Beautiful cycle paths (e.g. over the vineyards to Riquewihr, where it is otherwise... difficult to find a parking space - especially if you have a pedelec). The valley further towards the Vosges also offers beautiful scenery and hiking routes.Automatisk oversat.
- Christian G.September 2019PositiveGood location Good price/performance ratio Large plotNegativOld sanitary facilitiesWonderful timeWe had a wonderful time at the CP. The site offers large pitches and the location is also good. You can be in Kaysersberg in 5 minutes by bike. The sanitary facilities are outdated, but ok. I would come again in a heartbeat. The price-performance ratio is great. 17 euros for 2 people including electricity is great.Automatisk oversat.
- Daniel K.April 2019Positive+ Quiet location + Walks and bike tours possible directly from the campsite without a car + Great culinary offers in the village and the surrounding areaNegativ- Lack of a store on the squareSmall site in a great location with beautiful pitchesThe entire campsite makes a very well-kept impression, the sanitary facilities are very clean, but are getting on in years and are a little cramped in places. Pitches are pleasantly large and mainly separated by hedges. Water / waste water available directly at the pitch. What is missing is a small store,... unfortunately bread was also available on pre-order (no longer in the pre-season, bakery approx. 1.3 km). We received a friendly welcome! Walks, shorter and longer hikes along the stream or through the vineyards are possible directly from the CP, great cycle paths are easily accessible, Kaysersberg is definitely worth a visit. The theme park "Europapark" can be reached by car in an hour. The campsite is highly recommended and we will certainly be back.Automatisk oversat.
- M. B.May 2018PositiveQuiet, city center within 15 min walking distance.NegativThe rear sanitary facilities do not always have hot water.Versatile spaceThis was our second time in Kaysersberg. The staff were friendly and customer-oriented and let us choose a pitch. We were at the back of the campsite, where there were no problems with the ladies' toilets, but the men's toilets were not always clean. The showers didn't always have hot water. The front... sanitary facilities were great though! You can walk into the town in a good 15 minutes, where you can have breakfast, stroll, store or drink a glass of wine. Kayserberg Castle is always worth a visit. There are many activities around Kaysersberg, from cycling and hiking tours to historical events and animal parks. The site offers a children's playground and a bread roll service without pre-ordering (really good!). In season, a wine merchant from the neighborhood offers wine on Fridays and you can buy tarte flambée on the square. The site is in a quiet location on the outskirts of the town, a supermarket with petrol station is less than 1 km away, numerous very good restaurants in the town center about 15 minutes on foot. All in all, a highly recommended site!Automatisk oversat.
- Eva K.September 2017Positivecentrally locatedPerfect place to explore AlsaceCentrally located with good cycle path connections to nearby Kayserberg. The site is very well maintained and we are well looked after. The only small drawback is that it is next to a school and it is very noisy during school breaks.Automatisk oversat.
- Georg F.September 2017PositiveLocation, cleanliness, beautiful plots, tranquillity, value for money, ...NegativNoneSmall but mighty!Very nice and quiet campsite. The staff are very friendly and the site is very well maintained. Beautiful pitches with plenty of space and good power supply. Fresh water is also available at many pitches. You can reach the old town of Kaysersberg on foot in about 15-20 minutes.Automatisk oversat.
- Lorenz P.August 2017Positivenice location, friendly, clean sanitary facilities, old town within walking distanceNegativnoneGreat location to visit KaysersbergWe arrived quite late but were lucky to get the last pitch with electricity. The campsite is clean, the staff are friendly and speak German. The sanitary facilities are clean and are cleaned regularly. A baker comes in the morning with fresh baked goods. We were lucky enough to be here on a Tuesday because... the local fire department comes in the evening and bakes fresh tarte flambée. The beautiful old town of Kayserberg is only a few minutes' walk away.Automatisk oversat.
- D. C.July 2017Positivevery good peace and quiet beautiful location tidy pitches no dogs in the HSNegativno supply except bread roll serviceQuiet, well-managed place for those seeking relaxationThe site is clean and tidy, no dogs are allowed in the HS. The crowd is mixed, many couples but also families with children. Not suitable for party people. The pitches are large enough and almost all have a water connection. There is also plenty of shade. The site as a whole is very nicely laid out.... The facilities are limited to a bread roll service in the morning - no store, kiosk etc. The sanitary facilities are okay, mostly clean, but you shouldn't expect too much despite the "4 stars". The big plus of the site is the beautiful location near Kaysersberg (approx. 2 km away), the very nice location directly on the Weiss and the wonderful peace and quiet. With a price of approx. 20€ for 2pers./WoMo (July 2017) the price/performance ratio is completely ok.Automatisk oversat.
- Anna M.April 2017PositiveKaysersberg within walking distance Quiet location Clean sanitary facilitiesBeautiful, quiet campsiteCampsite on the outskirts of the beautiful little town of Kayersersberg (approx. 15 minutes' walk to the town center). The sanitary building is a bit outdated, but was always very clean. Heated ladies' area, which could also be used by men due to the low temperatures. Very friendly, German-speaking staff.Automatisk oversat.
- Edgar H.June 2016PositiveClose connection to the national route. Good excursion possibilities.Another beautiful municipal in FranceAlsace is a great region. The campsite is easily accessible and has all the qualities of a 'Municipal' in France. These sites are generally well maintained and clean. We were allowed to choose a pitch. It's ideally located as a transit campsite or for relaxing for several days.Automatisk oversat.
- Norbert S.May 2016Positive-close to the center -Center operators speak GermanNegativ-poor signposting of the cycle paths (the CP can do nothing about it) -Sanitary facilities clean- but lack of soap and dryer in WC areaWhitsun 2016Quietly located CP on the edge of Kaysersberg. Nevertheless, the town center can be easily reached on foot within a few minutes. Large, well-kept pitches separated by hedges. You can also find a shady spot under beautiful large trees.Automatisk oversat.
- Pascal S.September 2015Positive- Near town - Baker comes to the square every morningNegativ- Narrow entrance and driveway - Pitches rather tight WW over 7mCamping near a place worth seeingQuietly located campsite, about 1.5 km from the village. The village of Kaysersberg is very easy to reach on foot. Typical Alsatian town with lots of charm. Nicely laid out campsite, friendly staff. Access and entrance a bit narrow if several people arrive at the same time.Automatisk oversat.
- K.-H M.August 2015PositiveCoherent price-performance ratio.NegativUnfortunately no store available for shopping.Visit from 08.08.-16.08.2015Very nicely located campsite, also reasonably priced and a short walk into town. I will certainly visit again.Automatisk oversat.
- Petra W.May 2015Nice, beautifully situated CPUnfortunately, I can't give a full review because we didn't get a place here at Whitsun 2015. However, I would like to leave a first impression here, as the unfriendliness of the receptionist was mentioned in previous reviews. We cannot confirm this at all. We arrived on the Friday before Whitsun in... anticipation of the site and the beautiful Kaysersberg and unfortunately we didn't get a pitch for campers with dogs. These are outnumbered and were unfortunately all occupied. The lady at reception was very nice and understood our disappointment. We asked her if and where there were any campsites nearby and she gave us an overview map with all the campsites in the area and also offered to call them to make sure we got a pitch. We gratefully accepted this offer and ended up in Riquewihr. We think this should be mentioned here, because such a nice gesture is not a matter of course. We had a quick look at the campsite anyway, as we will definitely be back another time. It is beautifully situated on the outskirts of the village and the pitches make a spacious and clean impression.Automatisk oversat.
- Ulrich H.May 2015Positivespacious pitches, inexpensive, cleanNegativnoneA beautiful place in the heart of Alsace and on the edge of the Vosges mountainsI stayed at this campsite from 10.05.15 to 17.05.15 and was very pleasantly surprised. The site is on the outskirts of Kaysersberg and it's not too far to the old town. The pitches are spacious and there is plenty of shade under the various deciduous trees in midsummer. The German-speaking staff are... friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities are not the newest, but always clean. Unfortunately, the campsite doesn't offer any catering facilities, but it's not far to the center. I found the place to be quite cheap (1 adult with car and caravan, including electricity and showers and other costs - for 8 days 87, - EUR). There is a school in the immediate vicinity with a corresponding noise level from children playing. It didn't bother me at all. You should bring a tarpaulin for the awning, as the grass under the trees is not really waterproof under constant use. All in all, an attractive campsite that I would choose again if necessary.Automatisk oversat.
