Lars W.October 2024PositiveSee commentNegativIron picket line on the squareGood campsite in a good locationThe reception is professionally organized, there is staff available to tow the caravan directly to the pitch, as the paths are relatively narrow. The staff are always very friendly. The site is divided into two parts by a public road.
The wash houses are always clean, the showers are very large and the... toilets do their job. There were sometimes waiting times at the ladies' showers.
There is an extensive and interesting leisure programme organized by the campsite for children, families and adults. Not all activities are free of charge.
Swimming pools are very pleasantly tempered and offer real added value.
The store is well stocked, but in my opinion relatively expensive. The Black Forest gateau is a must!
The playground and soccer pitch are very good, the tennis court (partly mossy and therefore quite slippery) and the mini golf course can be used for a fee.
The restaurant is of good quality, I found it to be quite expensive, restaurants in the area are sometimes much cheaper and no worse. I also found the restaurant to be quite restless due to its size. However, the service was very helpful and friendly.
Depending on the pitch, you can clearly hear the train line. The first train leaves shortly after five on Mondays to Fridays and later at weekends. - Florian W.October 2023PositiveGreat location, top leisure/wellness facilities on site, super store and restaurant, clean sanitary facilities, great maneuvering service by site staff, generally friendly staff, good infrastructure, also due to the nearby train (tickets included in the CP rate!), which is actually quite quiet, café and outlet stores directly on siteNegativThe far too short switching times of the sanitary lighting via motion detectors! Halfway through the required times, you're sitting in a pitch-black toilet or lathered up in an equally dark shower! This is all the more annoying as the motion detectors are so slow that you only get light again after waving your hand 20 times and getting up from the toilet or leaving the shower. For small children who can just about go to the toilet on their own, I imagine it's quite traumatic to be alone in the pitch dark and then the motion detector, with the even greater distance to the BM on the ceiling, may not react at all... As dog owners, we are used to better walking options. The distance and time until dogs can defecate without having to collect everything afterwards (i.e. until you are in the forest or other unproblematic places) is significantly longer here than at other sites. If, like us, you prefer a place with a certain laissez-faire principle, you just have to accept that at midnight there are still screaming children running through the alleys playing catch, hide and seek and scare... :-)Successful stay, but with small downsidesIn principle, it's a perfect place, but the avoidable "little things", such as the light switching times of the motion detectors (which annoys you several times a day!) spoil the overall balance a little. But you can still work on that, especially with very little effort. The fact that the 90° bends... on the site are difficult to drive with long trailers is made up for by the perfect maneuvering service provided by the campsite staff. P.S.: This is our first campsite, including all the international ones, where there is no waste separation... It's hard to imagine that waste sorting still takes place anywhere...Automatisk oversat.

The check-in was perfect. On request, the groundsman drove the camper van to the booked pitch and parked it there. The pitches are large enough and have their own electricity and water/waste water supply. The sanitary... facilities are perfect and we have never seen them like this before. There is also a supermarket on the site where you can get everything your heart desires at super fair prices. There is also a swimming pool. There are also guided hikes, bike and mountain bike tours and various sports activities on offer.
The campsite is the perfect starting point for hikes, bike tours and sightseeing (Staufen, Freiburg etc.)
There is also a great restaurant with excellent service right on the campsite.
For us a perfect campsite where everything was 110% perfect. 2 swimming pools, both heated, are great for relaxing. Water gymnastics is offered and was great fun.
The shop is well stocked. The staff is very friendly.
We can't say much... about the restaurant. When I wanted to make a reservation for the first evening, the staff were very unfriendly. We didn't go back. there are good restaurants nearby.
The guest card allows free train or bus travel. Train station right next to the site. To summarize: We had a great time here.NegativThe seats directly adjacent to the railroad line are not entirely quiet. But it's not too bad, as the trains don't pass through, but either speed up or slow down because of the adjacent stop. Moreover, there is no train traffic at night.Great campsiteVery clean, friendly staff.
Very well-stocked store "sLädele" with reasonable prices, especially worth mentioning: great fresh bread rolls until the evening hours.
Lokal am Platz offers a nice atmosphere and very good food. However, as this restaurant is very popular, you have to book at certain times to get a seat.

Everything you could wish for for children: large playground, mini golf, indoor pool and an outdoor pool (unfortunately ball games are not allowed there, but are tolerated).NegativThe campsite is very expensive and you can clearly hear the train arriving and departing every 15 minutes until midnight (but only on the pitches close to the tracks).Very good place in the upper price categoryThe campsite belongs to the upper price category and is quite expensive. Children pay the same basic price as adults. As a family of six, a week on the campsite cost us almost €800, which is definitely too much for a campsite. Of course, this really spoiled the overall impression of the campsite with its many attractions.

We were able to go hiking, cycling, take the train directly in front of the CP to Freiburg sight seeing and take a wonderful tour through the Black Forest by car. The CP is the central starting point for many... activities and offers everything for relaxing after returning home, whether swimming pool (sauna was unfortunately closed - Corona sends its regards). We just felt comfortable and will come back to CP Münstertal if we are in the area again. A place that really deserves its 5 stars!Automatisk oversat.

The riding was just great, both riding instructors top, our daughter really enjoyed it. Thank you for that. What I found very good was that the children and young people, but also the adults, had to ride in front if they wanted to go out riding. They have to show what they can do and then it is decided whether they are good enough to ride out. That is great.
