The approach was a bit tight with oncoming traffic but ok. We were greeted in a friendly manner at reception and everything was patiently explained to us. The CP consists of what felt like 70% permanent campers and it is divided between dogs + non-dog... owners (perfect). Our pitch was next to a railroad track where a streetcar passes by from time to time during the day, barely audible. The pitches are a bit tight, our 7.5m caravan fitted exactly across. In the low season, only every 2nd pitch was occupied, otherwise it is definitely cozy. The sanitary facilities are new, spacious, modern and clean (perfect) Corona guidelines are implemented and adhered to everywhere in an exemplary manner (perfect) We had not seen a store, we had not asked for bread service but there is a restaurant.

Sankt A.June 2018Positive0NegativOutrageous behavior from the site operatorsI have never been treated so rudely by the site management.We, 2 people, register after the lunch break at 3 pm. We pay a 10.oo € key deposit. Everything is reserved at the pond. We are told to look for a place "down on the meadow". Then the site guard comes and demands that we move... We leave after 15 minutes (!), return the key and ask for the key deposit... back. The 10 € are withheld because they had worked for us... Actually, they could even charge us for an overnight stay. We were even threatened with the police... The sanitary facilities are not very modern, but clean. You can hike directly from the campsite and there is also a train connection on site. We were greeted very nicely and everything important was explained to us. We were kindly allowed to choose our pitch freely. The view from the pitch is really beautiful and you can swim in the adjacent pond (unfortunately... it wasn't bathing weather during our stay). Great hiking trails lead directly from the campsite into the countryside. Everything is clean and there is a key for the toilets. You can easily walk to Dahn on a quiet cycle path to go shopping and eat in the restaurant. The only problem is the layout of the ladies' sanitary facilities, as the toilets and washbasins are right next to each other. Not nice if you want to brush your teeth and someone is having a bowel movement just a meter away :( (unpleasant for both sides) On the other hand, the showers are very large and as good as new, with enough hooks for your clothes and a small bench. Perfect! We would come here again. The restaurant directly at the campsite is unfortunately not recommended. We ate there once, it was quite tasty, but the owner is totally overwhelmed, does the food and the bar alone, he likes to let his guests feel the stress. A 2nd attempt to dine there failed. Many permanent campers in the neighborhood. Can be seen in detail on google maps. Mostly unparceled pitches, the friendly owner allocates pitches. New sanitary facilities, used by campers and permanent campers. There are 4 spacious, modern showers in the men's area,... but unfortunately in the same room as the toilets. Only 3 WCs, which sometimes led to waiting times. Cleaning should be done more often! Once a week is not enough. Because most campers take their slippers into the shower cubicle instead of leaving them outside the door. Adjacent leased good, family restaurant, which also provides the bread service. Central location for excursions to the Trifels, Bad Bergzabern, Pirmasens etc. or to nearby France, e.g. Wissembourg. 4km to the charming town of Dahn, cycling and hiking trails are well developed. Railroad stop 'Moosbach' approx. 200m away. The site is mainly used by tourists for short stays and camper voyages. With a stay of 11 days (end of June) we were the exception. But we also had the most beautiful pitch ;-) Unpleasant: although the pitch was hardly occupied, the children of a Belgian family were forbidden to play ball games. 2 boys passed the ball to each other and were loud and quiet as children should be. None of the 3 neighboring campers complained and there was enough space. The price is made up of individual components, pitch + car + people + electricity + waste + tourist tax and is high compared to adequate pitches.Automatisk oversat.

There is a large, unparceled meadow for short-term campers. The surroundings are very idyllic and beautiful. The campsite owner was very friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities are a little older, but always nice and clean. If you are looking for a nice,... quiet campsite in the middle of unspoiled nature, this is the place for you. We always like to come back and always feel at home. The site is really very quiet, and that's what it's known for. Sanitary facilities in the style of the early 80s, but plenty of space and very clean. In contrast, the area in front of the sanitary facilities looks more like a permanent construction site. The pitch meadow... is flat and well-kept. The whole thing is nicely embedded in a valley. Unfortunately, the 3 entry points into the pond are not paved in any way. The bank drops vertically down to a water depth of approx. 1.50 m and there is still silt and mud at the bottom. It is almost impossible for an adult to get out on their own. It is almost impossible for children. There is a garden door at the tent meadow through which you can access the hiking trail. From there, the path leads up to the Neudahn ruins. Incidentally, the hills are never very high and the hikes are never very far. There are countless rock formations, castle ruins and simply lots to see at every turn. Next to the barrier is a good restaurant with good food and a friendly landlord. They also have Palatinate specialties, I ate my first Saumagen there. We had a very good rest here, but will definitely have to come back a few more times because a few days just aren't enough. The owner's only argument was that it couldn't be, at most there were too many campers showering at this time. We were actually expecting a price reduction! We were there on a long weekend. Wim H.August 2011Much to expensive !!! Plumbing is clean, showers are very old, you can't hang the shower hose/head. The camping has a wonderful surrounding. The owner is very/too old fashioned and is sitting on his balcony the whole day, when not in his office.Absolutely no camping for kids and dogs. Much too expensive... for what is offered. Environment beautiful. The younger owner is hospitable, which I missed with the older owner. For me NO campsite to visit again.Automatisk oversat.
