A place for beautiful days
We were able to spend six lovely days here with our two kids (5 and 7) in the front part of the campsite. Our attempt two weeks before arrival failed, as you have to do this at least one month in advance. However, as there is no pitch numbering anyway, you can only give an approximate pitch preference.... The campsite had a quiet and relaxed atmosphere despite being full. Only the pool could get a bit crowded in the afternoon. The beach was never overcrowded, but you can tell it's high season. The water was great for the kids. Pleasant temperatures, crystal clear and not too deep for the first few meters. The restaurant was also good. Pizza is served daily in high season and the other dishes were really good as far as we could tell. The store has the essentials. Otherwise you have to walk a few kilometers back to the Crai. Oh yes. There is also entertainment. Only in Italian and NOT annoying and loud. What we perhaps didn't like were the sanitary facilities. A few more toilets and washing facilities wouldn't have been bad. But it was enough. Especially because four new shower blocks compensate for the evening rush. The bottom line: we'd love to come again!

Disaster vacation
I'm trying to stay really neutral in this review, but I'm giving it a poor overall rating because of some misconduct by the course management. More on this later. Our second campsite in Sardinia took us a little further south. The beautiful photos of the beach and the pool had enticed us. When we got... there, the barrier was down because it was lunchtime. However, there is a kind of outside reception in front of the barrier. We were told there that we could have a look at the campsite on foot. We received a friendly welcome at the real reception. They even spoke German. A member of staff showed us the available pitches, whereby the campsite is divided into two parts. One part close to the beach behind the reception and one part in front. We could only get pitches in the latter. The area near the beach was understandably left to guests staying longer. The pitch we chose was nicely situated under the trees. The sanitary facilities in our area were of a fairly low standard. I saw an employee using a pressure washer to remove a blockage in a few seconds and clean it at the same time. Certainly very efficient, but probably not really clean? There was only cold water at the dishwasher. A major shortcoming! In the evening it got really loud at the campsite. At the neighboring campsite, a halligalli animation party went on until late into the night. Of course, Camping Orri couldn't help it, their own entertainment was much quieter, but it was no way to get a good night's sleep. The pool at the campsite is quite nice. There was no need to wear a swimming cap. The beach looks much nicer in the pictures than it actually is. The sand is quite rough. As we didn't really like the campsite that much, we considered leaving the next day. At lunchtime on 13.07.2019, we noticed that it suddenly smelled a bit dicey. Suddenly there were fire-fighting helicopters in the air above us, taking water from the sea on the beach. The campsite staff made no effort to warn anyone, so we still felt safe. Less than half an hour later, the smoke became thicker and thicker and we could already hear the crackling of the fire directly behind the campsite. We fled to the beach, while the campsite staff kept their cool and made no attempt to evacuate the site. We waited on the beach for several hours and could see the smoke above the campsite from there. Fire-fighting planes and helicopters were constantly overhead. We were sure we would never see our camper van again. Nobody thought it necessary to tell the guests who had fled to the stand what was going on. After hours, the smoke subsided a little and people returned to the site. By a lucky coincidence (for us), the wind had shifted from west to south and the campsite was narrowly spared from the fire. Everything was sooty, full of ash and stank terribly, but it hadn't burnt down. We would have liked to leave immediately, but we couldn't because we were surrounded by fire. The roads were closed. There was still no information from the site management or their staff. We spent the following night sitting on packed suitcases and there was no chance of sleep as the fire was burning all around us. It wasn't until the next afternoon that we were finally able to leave the campsite. The icing on the cake was that we also had to pay the full price! Pure adventure vacation! Not to be misunderstood, of course nobody at the campsite was responsible for the fire, but in such a case you can expect them to look after the safety of their guests and not charge the full price for a ruined vacation. In any case, we were glad when we finally left and found a nice place in the north, where we stayed until the drive home. Despite intensive ventilation in the cupboards, the camper van still smells of smoke today (early August). Fortunately, that was the only damage that remained.

Very nice place with a great beach
We had a mobile home that was clean and well equipped. There could be more hooks for hanging towels etc. The pool is very nice. The great sandy beach is only a few meters away. The pizza in the restaurant is delicious and reasonably priced. We found it very pleasant that there was no animation in June and it was therefore very quiet. We and the children enjoyed it very much.

Four of us stayed here for 2 days. The beach is one of the most beautiful! The pool is very nice and well maintained! Nice place with bar and small store. Toilets without glasses, showers very small! Washing up only with cold water. Wifi only by the pool and weak. Very friendly reception, speak good German. All in all a very nice and recommendable place!

First of all -- a very nice CP with some peculiarities. But if you know it, you can adjust to it. On arrival it was still closed at midday - and that was at the beginning of September. The women clarified with the groundsman where we were allowed to go and took care of the registration. There are 2 parts... of the site. The one by the sea is preferable. Biggest flaw on the site - no hot water for washing up. But most people knew how to help themselves. Very nice pool and even nicer the beach. Small store with little on offer. No matter - Abartax is not far away. Bar on site is good. Children's entertainment in the evening from 8 pm from the next CP very loud but from 3 days we could sing along to the children's songs. Cars are parked separately in the parking lot - is okay. this eliminates the constant pointless driving around some :-) Sanitary facilities simple but always clean.

Very nice campsite!
Very nice campsite that offers everything. In the supermarket you can get fresh bread rolls and the essentials. The pizzeria makes delicious pizzas at a reasonable price. The sanitary facilities are clean, but could be bigger for the high season. The staff are very friendly. They speak fluent German... at reception. They are very helpful. During thunderstorms and heavy rain, the water can't drain away so quickly, so the site becomes like a small lake - this isn't a problem for campers in caravans, but it is for tent owners. But it was also an experience to see the campers digging ditches and helping each other. The entertainment is only in Italian, but never too loud or annoying. All in all, it is a very nice campsite with a beautiful beach and crystal-clear sea.

Campsite is ok. Beach is nice, but very crowded in places. Sanitary facilities quite ok but nothing more. Restaurant: very tasty pizza, but only 3 times a week. The rest of the offer, although it sounds good, is not to be recommended.

The place is very winding for large Womos a problem because there are many trees! The only nice thing was the swimming pool and the beautiful sea! The sanitary facilities leave something to be desired!!!!!!!!The shopping facilities (kiosk) were very limited! Without a drivable undercarriage you are screwed because to Tortoli and Abatrax it was about 4 km.all in all for the transit it is still possible but 1-2 weeks stay NO!!!!!

Could be better....
We stayed at Camping Orri with our motorhome at the end of August/beginning of September. The campsite itself is very nice and is located directly on the wonderful sandy beach. In the store (bakery) there are only the bare essentials, no fresh bread, fresh milk or fruit, vegetables... You will also look... in vain for camping equipment. So if you don't have a car, you should organize yourself well, because the nearest supermarket is about 4 km away. If you want to do something, you should definitely have a car or motorcycle with you otherwise you won't get far, there is a restaurant nearby that has probably seen its best days. If you want to stroll around in the evening or go out for a meal, you have to drive to the nearest town of Tortolì. There is also a restaurant at the campsite and the pizza is ok. You shouldn't expect too much from the sanitary facilities, the showers have neither a shelf for shower gel nor a hook to hang up your towel (only outside) and the toilets don't have toilet seats. The animation is terribly loud until August and goes on until midnight. Despite everything, the beach and the sea are fantastic!

Very nice place with a beautiful beach
We were at this place in the second half of August and found it very nice. Most of the staff at reception speak very good German and are very friendly. The beautiful beach was only about 100m away and it was very clean. The animation went on until midnight, but that didn't bother us. The nearest shops... are in Tortoli and very easy to reach by bike. It was also nice that the cars had to park in front of the campsite and were only allowed on the campsite to unpack or pack, this greatly reduced the traffic on the campsite. If the sanitary facilities were brought up to date, this site would have earned a fifth star from us

If you want to have some peace and quiet on vacation, you should not go to this place during the high season. Every day from midday onwards, the children's entertainment sounds loudly across the entire campsite, with short intervals until midnight. Accordingly, there are also hordes of small children.... For campers with tents, the fact that neither cars nor motorcycles are allowed on the site makes things even more difficult. There are no exceptions here either, you have to transport your needs (e.g. shopping) to the tent in wheelbarrows. The campsite operator is rigorous here, became very unfriendly in our case and ultimately told us we could leave. We would have done so if we had not been asked to pay in advance immediately on arrival.

We spent one night there. After a rather rough reception from the night watchman after the ferry, they didn't want to let us on the pitch despite calling us beforehand. Not great for us to have to worry about a place to sleep at night. WITH a caravan and child in the car. After the first night, we were... not allocated a proper pitch. Although there were still spaces available. But as we didn't want to stay a whole week, we were only given ONE pitch in the lower category. We then drove on. Our friends had pre-booked and arrived one night later. When we wanted to visit them, we were asked to pay 15 euros per person for a short visit plus 6 euros for the car. OUTRAGEOUS. CONCLUSION: Never again camping Orri we went to Camping Marina. What we can recommend to everyone. Very nice people at this campsite.

It was our first time at this campsite and we were pleasantly surprised. German-speaking staff, lots of space, the sanitary facilities were very clean and were cleaned several times a day. Waste separation is not a problem at all, everything is neatly labeled and emptied several times a day. The animation,... which starts very late and is unfortunately only in Italian, is a little annoying. The pool looks bigger in the pictures than in reality, but is completely ok. This is an ideal place for families with children. We will definitely visit the site again with our caravan!

Great beach in a good location, sanitary facilities outdated
We (2 adults) were with our caravan (LÜA 750 cm) in the 2nd week of Sept. on the CP Orri. The reception was very friendly and German-speaking. The campsite is divided into 2 areas: Area 1 from the beach to the "inner" barrier = core area of the CP with pool, restaurant, bar, small supermarket and pitches... partly under pine and deciduous trees and in area 2; in front of the barrier with sanitary building and pitches under deciduous trees. The pitches in area 1 are small, so there is hardly any space for larger caravans (we had a reservation). Cars generally have to park outside areas 1 and 2 - but this has the advantage of little traffic on the campsite apart from the motorhome drivers. Wheelbarrows are available for transportation. The campsite has a football pitch and volleyball court on the beach and some play equipment for children by the (small) pool. The supermarket is equipped with the essentials, although there are 2 larger supermarkets about 2-3 km away. On the deep, very clean beach with crystal clear water I did not find any sun loungers or umbrellas for hire. The beach drops off body-deep into the sea after 2-3 meters. The capacity of the sanitary buildings was just sufficient with a maximum of a quarter full campsite in September. However, quite outdated and partly in need of repair. Nevertheless, the campsite team managed to keep the sanitary buildings clean. From CP Orri there are good excursion possibilities to Tortoli and Arbatax (easily possible by bike) or into the mountainous hinterland (by car or motorcycle). The coast to the south (e.g. Barisardo) is a little more challenging by bike. The price-performance ratio of the CP is right. Would definitely come back.

Super Campingplatz!!! Freu mich schon auf den nächsten Besuch
Wir sind vor wenigen Tagen wieder von diesem wunderschönen Campingplatz zurück. Wir sind schon mehrere Male hier gewesen und wollten dieses Jahr unseren positiven Beitrag hier lassen. Sehr schön bewachsen gepflegt und sehr viele Blumen. Die Sanitäranlagen sind sehr sauber gehalten und der Campingplatz... ist allgemein sehr ordentlich. Kostenloses Wifi, 50 MB am Tag sind im Urlaub völlig ausreichend. Wir schätzen sehr dass die Autos nur am Tag der Ankunft und am Tag der Abfahrt rein dürfen. Unsere 2 Kinder könnnen in Sicherheit auf dem ganzen Campingplatz spielen. Das Restaurant und die Pizzeria sind beide sehr gut. Im August gibt es auch die Animation, die aber nicht störend ist. Die Kinder hatten bei der Kinderdisko immer sehr viel Spass. Das Personal ist mehrsprachig und sehr hilfsbereit. Seit diesem Jahr gibt es auch einen Bademeister der sehr nett war. Er ist zwar ein bisschen "streng" aber das ist unserer Meinung sehr angebracht, wir haben uns durch seine Anwesenheit sicherer gefühlt und der Pool war auch sehr entspannend. An einem Nachmittag haben wir und andere eine Szene gesehen die wirklich störend war. Ein Gast des Campingplatzes der die Poolregeln einfach nicht akzeptieren wollte, hat dem Bademeisters Handtuch, sein Handy und weitere Gegenstände nassgemacht nur weil er ihn auf die ausgehängte Platzordnung aufmerksam gemacht hat. Das ganze natürlich während der junge Herr nicht da war. Fanden wir ganz schön feige und fies. Man darf nun nicht mit Wasserbälle spielen, aber so schlimm finden wir das nicht. Es gibt einen wunderschönen Strand wo man springen, spielen und sich austoben kann. Man muss das nicht unbedingt im Pool machen. Stellt Euch vor alle würden mit einem Ball spielen.... Der Pool wäre nicht mehr so charmant und entspannend wie er ist. Wir werden sicherlich wieder kommen und die Zeit in diesem wunderschönen Campingplatz geniessen.

Great campsite right on the beach
Great campsite right on the beach. We had a very nice, large and shady tent pitch at the front of the beach. The site was very clean, as were the sanitary facilities. Staff (reception, bar, groundsman, etc.) always very nice and helpful. The only thing that was "annoying" were the three showers for the... men in the front area (towards the beach) and the few washbasins. There were more further back and these were sufficient. You have to get used to the animation (we were never there in the three weeks). Is loud until 2400h and extends to the front of the beach. But then "quiet in the ship" on time! Beach at the campsite very nice and clean and spacious. On the whole, the campsite matches its descriptions in all categories.

Nice place but no longer up to date
1) The most nonsensical pool rules I have ever seen: no toys in the pool, with children under 12 regardless of whether they can swim or not, the adult must be in the immediate vicinity of the child IN the pool! The "lifeguard" only enforces the rules. 2) Only 50Mb of WiFi per day - honestly? In 2016... for me a decision criterion whether I come back or not. 3) The animation of the neighboring campsite is outrageous. From 10pm to midnight they shout into the microphone! It's best to ask for a pitch near the beach. It's good there. On the positive side, the two ladies at reception speak fluent German, are very helpful and always friendly. The pitch layout is slightly chaotic but charming. The store has the most important things you need. The beach and the water are great.
