During the Whitsun vacations, the campsite was almost full.
The pitches and paths are narrow. Without a mover, parking is quite a feat.

With the guest card we could take the bus to Bolzano for free. A great stay all round. Swimming pool great, for the summer there is also a pool outside. The dishwashing area is great with a fantastic view. It's really fun there.NegativThe lower sanitary facilities are a bit dated and not heated, which is unpleasant at the end of October/November, but there are facilities a few steps further on that are newer and nicer. The place is extremely loud until late at night. Outdoor pool water was really cold, what we have not seen that something is done here for the environment solar system or photovoltaics very unfortunate because then the water in the outdoor pool would certainly be warmer. For the size of the place there are far too few toilets and showers available if you have something in mind you should take that into account we have never had to wait if you have to go to the toilet in the morning goes garnit. We can't understand the predominantly good reviews, we won't be visiting the site again. The worst thing was that we had to cancel our stay because of an emergency my mother was dying and then had to pay 40 euros for it, although campers were constantly being turned away during the time we were there because there was no space available.Automatisk oversat.

The pitches are big enough. Nicely shaded with vines. Unique. There is grass and small pebbles on the ground, so no mud after the rain. TOP.
There are 2 wash houses, older and newer.... Both good and always clean. The price includes hot water and toilet paper. There is a dispenser with disinfectant in each toilet.
We were there during the vacation season, so many families with small children, which made for a certain noise level at the pool. This is completely normal and should not be a point of criticism. On the new indoor pool you have a beautiful terrace, which is only accessible for adults, where you can sunbathe in peace.
There is a small store where you can get everything you need. Fresh bread rolls etc. and a pizzeria where you can order pizzas to take away.
The senior manager walks through the campsite every evening and greets his guests. Very attentive and nice.
A Bolzano Card is handed out. (See the advantages online). There were mainly Germans, Dutch and Danes at the campsite.
Small point of criticism: The WLAN reception could be better. A few repeaters would work wonders.
I definitely recommend this campsite.

You can tell that they have a lot of experience in dealing with guests.
The crowning glory is, of course, the free "Bolzano Card" - you can use the "public transport" for unlimited bus... and train travel (including the mountain railroad) and can explore the area without stress - and at a price of €45/night for 2 people.

C.September 2022PositivePitches, Sanitary facilities, Pizzeria, Friendly reception, Surroundings in South Tyrol, 'BozenCard'NegativLocation on the noisy streetGreat place, great surroundings, noisy street...The course is beautifully laid out, partly under pergolas with vines, partly with trees. The pitches are all parceled out (various sizes) and almost all are visually separated from each other by larger hedges/bushes. Due to its location on a busy road during the day, the site is very noisy. It is better... at night, but you know that you can easily be woken up by a single Italian Ducati thundering through the Adige Valley. Pay close attention to the location of the individual pitches! We found this to be the biggest disadvantage of the campsite. This is definitely a drawback for people who need a lot of peace and quiet.
There are two sanitary buildings (modern & clean), which are unfortunately very close together and you have to walk a bit from the 'farthest corner' of the site. The occupancy in the low season was 90% German. Reservations are highly recommended as the area is extremely popular.
The campsite has a beautiful, large pool with loungers and an indoor pool where you can also swim. Top! At the reception there is a small but well-stocked store (bread rolls without pre-ordering) and a very good pizzeria. The town of Laives was disappointing, but the surrounding area is great for hiking and cycling through the Adige Valley. With the 'Bolzano Card', which you get for free at reception, you can travel by bus free of charge (to Bolzano from the CP every 15 minutes) and can also use many cable cars (e.g. in Bolzano on the 'Ritten' to Oberbozen) completely free of charge. With this card you can quickly save 100€ in a few days! The campsite is clean, well-kept and also has a pool. It is well located for excursions in South Tyrol (not far from the highway).
